Disappointed, service was awful. We waiting one hour for our appetizers which came out at the same time as our meals, server said “yeah, so this is probably not good but oh well” when he dumped everything on the table.
Restaurant was half full at best so the 30 mins it took for 3 beers to be delivered was also a major let down.
Had we not been committed to be the area we would have left after ordering.
Zero comp offer or remotes sense of accountability for poor service.
Service was very slow and the food mediocre. Truly disappointing.
Great find with vegan options in a very cool location. Service and food were outstanding!
We booked 10 people on sat night at 7pm , when we got there and they don’t have my reservation. I showed my opentable confirm booking and they arranged patio seats for us. Unfortunately we still had to wait 30 mins with kids and elders.
This restaurant is a short walk from the hustle and bustle of The Americana. Wonderful service and very good quality food. I highly recommend it.
They would not honor our reservation..said " honor walk-ins first so there is no need to bother making reservations" ????
Finally,(after a 25 minute wait, even with reservations, we were sat a horrible table right amongst all the standing, waiting, hovering other patrons. We just got up and moved.Waiter spilled creamer all over our table, used our napkins to clean it up and then didnt bring us new ones.Weird and unapologetic atmosphere here
Nobody cared at all.Bummer..I used to love this place
Worst part...it was our anniversary and we used a gift certificate that was a present to us from my folks.
I've visited Granville twice and both times our entire party was impressed by the quality and flavor of the food. Great vegan options as well! Service was a little slow on this visit (they did seem very busy), but it was still a nice meal and would definitely return.
Only complaint was we had to leave our stroller up at the front of the restaurant
Really nice dinner with a friend and although it wasn’t busy and all the servers were very warm and friendly, the actual drink service was very slow and inattentive. Our meal cane just after we got our first drink but prior to that we sat without drinks or anything. My steak was delicious but very fatty, but I liked it very much anyway. Very flavorful. They closed at 10:15 and the lights got very bright immediately as if we were in a dive bar doing last call. Nonetheless, knowing all that, now that I know, I’d still go back. I’d just make sure to order my drink from the bar first and go earlier.
They stuck us in the kid section, they were out of avocados & guacamole & the hamburger bun was dry & fell apart. We have been to 3 of the Granville restaurants on numerous occasions & this was our first sub par experience.
Lunch with family and friends. Staff was kind to accommodate us with a table that was outdoors, but not in the sun. Food was great!
I hate to give this place a bad review. Customer service was great however when I was ready to be seated the hostess kept insisting that I sit outside. I had reservations for two and after much insisting to be seated inside it was clear that she didn’t have a table ready. The table she had was dirty. My date and I ordered a few things which the waiter kept saying, “sorry we are out of that.” I felt limited on what I could order. And happy hour is only at the bar.
We had a 6pm reservation, called to see if it was ok to arrive at 545. They said they could seat us early. After arriving we sat at the bar for 25 minutes before they sat us at a table that was empty the entire time we were at the bar. After 15 minutes at the table we flagged down a host to ask where our waiter was. A very nice woman came over and said she just got on but would help us. She warned us they were all out of burgers. ALL burgers and avocados, and of course salads given recall. No complaints about the waitress she was great. The restroom however was filthy. Trash can was overflowing. On the way out I thought I’d talk to the manager, I waited at the host station for 5 minutes but no one was around. I gave up and left. Overall it seems like a very poorly run place. The food was average to good for the 5 of us in the party. Doubt I’ll go back.
Service was friendly and efficient. Food was original and delicious. Great Music selection on the speakers, just loud enough to enjoy and still carry on table conversations. Will definitely return. The food was so appealing when set down in front of us that we ate it before we even thought about a photo first.
Our first night and dinner in LA - food was upscale comfort food and hit the spot - steak, beef stroganoff and chicken picata - all of which were amazing! Service was spot on and waitress was exceptionally friendly and attentive - would highly recommend!
It was a great meal!
Awesome menus and service but the NOISE LEVEL IS TOO HIGH.
Great service and food!
Enjoyed the food but the wait for it seemed excessive. We had a reservation at 12:30 but asked to wait for 15 minutes for late party members. Waiter was efficient but kitchen took so long to deliver brunch that my husband had time to open his presents, family had time to catch up on all news for past 3 months & I had time to walk to car in parking garage 4 flights up at far end of the structure to take up presents. When I returned, I was amazed to find food had still not arrived. My granddaughter finally had to leave at 2:00 & we had just finished eating. A much longer event than we had expected.
Terrific and considerate service; attention to food quality; family-friendly.
Very nice hostess, we came here to celebrate 2 birthdays on a Sunday for Brunch/Lunch. The waiter brought out two delicious fudge vanilla ice creams for each of the birthday girls. This made it very special for them. The food was all very delicious. The only problem is that the booth they sat us at barely fit the plates and drinks. We were a party of 5 and were squeezed into a very small booth table. Some of the plates were overlapping and seating was uncomfortable. We are petite too so I don't know how it would fit bigger people. Overall a good experience. Just wish had more room.
Great place for lunch- delightful poke bowl
There for Sunday Brunch and there was no toilet paper. Boyfriend said the men's restroom had a foul smell as well. The bottom of the table was sticky, my chair got my purse sticky...Service was good considering it was a busy time, but the atmosphere could have been cleaner...
We sat outside on the patio and were grateful for the special attention Giselle, the hostess, showed us.
They don’t honor your OT points.
Great service, held our table for 30 mins even though half our party was running late. All the food was fresh and great tasting. Would definitely recommend
Disappointing. I ordered breakfast, but the meal was lukewarm. I sent back the toast since it was light after requesting dark toast. They put it back in the toaster which then made it very hard. My friend liked her salad. I had really looked forward to eating there based on the reviews.
Had been to their Burbank location many times. This one (Glendale) same menu but better ambience. Seems roomier, more open. I had my usual pork chop; amazing —perfectly done, finished with a tasty sauce. Wife a little disappointed in her chicken penne dish. Very little flavor, bland. But overall, a 5 star experience. We will eat here any time we’re on this side of LA.
Very good food and service, but had to ask for the basics, salt, pepper, catsup, jam, with breakfast order. Also no parking validation available.
I always worry about going out to eat because I need gluten free and dairy free food. Usually that means boring food. Not a Granville! Now I need an excuse to drive out to Glendale to get food this tastey and good for me!
Great! Best omelette I’ve ever had!
I love this place! The food is delicious and the service is great, too. If it's a hot day, however, and you want to sit outside, I would give it a miss as the outdoor area can get hot!
As always, impeccable service and great, healthy food. Generous portions. Great for Sunday Brunch with friends!
Love the food but the noise was horrible- we couldn’t hear each other during dinner
Our server was very attentive. Our food came out quickly and it was delicious.
Delicious food / great service!
Our server was excellent, and the food was good.....have been there before, and will continue to go there again!
The parking was a bit of a hassle but the food and service were excellent
The food is fresh and tasty. Good size portions. Cucumber martini is very refreshing. Excellent service!
A nice option at the Americana. Granville has a robust menu, so there's something for everyone in your party.
