Our server was nice and the food was good, but I don't understand why I had to go up to the hostess three times for her to pay any attention to me. The woman in the jeans and plaid shirt (who I am guessing was the manager because she was snapping at the employees) showed me to my booth, but on our way to the booth we stopped at the bar for her to give an order to an employee. She just threw the menus on the booth, said nothing, and walked away. I understand that it was busy because it was Sunday afternoon, but if you can't handle the pressure then don't work in the restaurant business. Luckily our server was great so my visit wasn't totally ruined by this woman and the hostess who needs to look UP and pay attention!
The ny steak and ahi tuna were good. We wished there were more steak and chicken options.
Love their food and drink menu. Service is consistently good. Always have a nice time there.
I was in town for my brothers birthday and we needed a good place to have a conversation, a drink and some good food. This fit the bill for all 3. My old fashioned tasted great, as did the flatbread and the Farro and Mushroom Risotto. The noise level was a little much, but we were still able to talk to each other without shouting.
This is a moderately priced restaurant, serving good food. We began with a shared hummus plate and drinks. Our server Sean was knowledgeable and didn't rush us to order main courses, which were salmon and chicken marsala. My dinner companion ordered the latter dish and a request to substitute vegetables for pasta was accommodated. We finished off with a shared lemon dessert - fantastic! The house version of an Old Fashioned is not to be missed (if you enjoy OFs).
The waitress and operations manager that helped us were very lovely. I had an issue with my OpenTable giftcard, and they were very patient in helping us out. Food is great! I recommend the chilaquilles. :)
My mac and cheese would have been good but was room temperature. My husband turkey sandwich was served with dry bread. Waitress efforts to serve us were fine.
This place is fantastic and reasonably priced. The menu has something for everyone. Local scratch made deliciousness. We had pineapple jalapeño margaritas, spiked lemmonade- delish if a little light on the booze. For apps we had sweet potato gries and the mac and cheese- so good and devoured instantky. The burger, marsalla chicken abd rustic steak sandwhiches were so good.
I was 10 minutes late to our reservation and they acted like I committed a murder. It was totally obnoxious and the manager on duty gave us SO much flack. If it wasn’t my brother’s favorite place AND his birthday we would have left immediately, but instead I just tried to stand so that she wasn’t speaking to him, and only talking to me. I was blown away we have never been treated like that anywhere. I realize we were late and that’s our fault, but is ten minutes worth multiple rude comments? We even said we could go somewhere else, no problem, but she insisted on parading us around and saying how much trouble it was that we were late, over and over and over.
Always excellent, creative food and fun, caring service.
Jeremy is truly wonderful & make the experience nice although food so processed leaves one longing for home cooking, soup base tastes like too many bullion cubes & too rich. Best thing was service and Ice Cream, otherwise atmosphere is very noisy.
Nice spot in a good location. Cool date spot - would recommend to a friend.
We were really late due to our GPS sending us to the wrong place, but the manager was kind enough to save a table for us. Our server was great and answered all of our questions very knowledgeably. He really knew the menu, and we were impressed. Food was excellent. We sat outside, which wound up being fantastic because it seemed a little loud inside. Would definitely go back!
We had a fabulous experience thanks to Rachel! Thank you Rachel!
The restaurant is very average. The food was just okay as was the service.
Love Granville, it was my birthday and I picked it because it is my favorite! It never disappoints and there are options for those who don't want especially fancy dishes such as children who want a plain burger, they will accommodate.
Granville is the perfect place to get together with friends for great drinks and delicious food. Their small bites are perfect for sharing. Everything from salads to entrees are great. My all time favorites are the grilled cheese dippers and the cheeseburger flatbread. Their menu has a great variety!
Very impressed with the excellent service received when we went for a DineLA lunch. Waitress was attentive and quick.
Food was also tasty. Restaurant is large and was not crowded.
We had a really great time. The food was delicious and the handcrafted cocktails are out of this world. Our server Jeremy was outstanding and provided the best service ever! The risotto is to die for. It’s been a while since I have been this pleased with a dinner out. Highly recommended.
The food is very good & reasonable. Love i! Great for all people.
It is good place for happy hour and we enjoyed it and liked it. Thanks
Establishment was not ready for a party of 11, even though we had reservations for 13, made days earlier. Wait staff and kitchen was very slow.
Loved the salmon and trout. Lots of menu choices. Had dinner with three friends celebrating birthdays I will go back.
Had a reservation for 815 and didn’t get seated till 900. Service was average but took way too long. Food was average and not worth the prices . Overall not a place i would visit again .
Don’t bother with a reservation. We showed up a few minutes early for our 7 pm reservation and werent seated until 7:20. Not only were walk ups being told “15 to 20 minutes,” 1 of the 3 parties seated before us was actually a walk up. And we were a party of 2, by no means difficult to accommodate.
Love the food; hate the music that's playing. Difficult if you want to socialize, actually impossible. Energetic rating for noise level is a negative.
Made a reservation for my mom's birthday. We were seated immediately. Our server remembered well that it was my mom's birthday when I told him early on. He surprised her with a (complimentary) cherry/chocolate ice cream sundae, a flavor he recommended and was SO GOOD. Also highly recommend the spicy pasta, I get it every time and always have enough for left overs the next day.
We were on vacation and went with our teen daughter and 2 of her friends. We were able to sit on the patio and the weather was perfect. Lots of great food options for everyone (including the vegetarian). It happened to still be happy hour and there were lots of great appetizers to choose from. Only downside was that we were staying too far away to be able to come back again for another meal!
Food was delicious and our server was top notch! She was very attentive and had a great personality. My boyfriend told her it was our anniversary and she surprised with a little ice cream sundae to celebrate. It was really nice of her! As we left, we told the manager how great our server was.
It was excellent as usual!
The potatoes for breakfast were so delicious. Disappointed they did not have French press coffee even though it was on the menu.
Enjoyed it in the past & the reason we brought 8 guests for a birthday. A little disappointed this time around. The seared Ahi was a little too cooked. That left the flavor to be gained only from the noodles. To drive the nail in the coffin, they ran out of Don Julio Anejo. They offered some other unknown replacement & I instead suggested Clase Azul at a discounted price. They balked so we passed on 4 (and most likely) 8 margaritas.
Granville has lost a step. The silverware, cups and plates all seem had not been cleaned properly. The food seems just slopped on the plate and is sloshing around in oily fluids. The person that brings the food never knows who ordered what and the wait can be long to get seated. The bench seating is so uncomfortable any longer than 45 minutes and your back is hurting. I actually probably will not go there again after having been there a dozen times or more.
Little disappointed with the chilaquiles dish. I've had this dish before but his time around the dish was a bit oily which us not very healthy.
Granville is great! Good food, good drinks, reasonable prices. It’s well made food and drinks and fresh ingredients so you definitely get what you paid for. It is a bit loud at times but not too bad. I highly recommend Granville!
Great experience - the staff was very helpful and accommodating- food was great thank you!
front host were very rude... 1 bad seed threw off the entire reservation one after another. remember to tell staff what a magic shopper is..
