We are regulars at Granite City, we love the food, the ambience, and generally we have an excellent experience. Last night the table we requested through open table reservations was not saved for us. Secondly, our food came, and I was extremely disappointed with the quality of my sandwich. We came in specifically because I was longing for the March special Reuben sandwich. Mine was half fat. I will say this though, our waiter was amazing, advocated for us, and remade the sandwiches for us. the second time around they were excellent, so all in all…. We had a pretty good experience last night. The thing that saved it for us was our waiter Nathan, who went to bat for us, kudos to you for having such an excellent server and working to correct our order!

Nathaniel did an awesome job. He kept filling my water glass. I can no longer afford beer at Granite City. The last one I had was $9.91. Ouch, for beer you brew in house. I had a couple beers with my meals in the past but now I’m forced to drink water.

Wow, a restaurant that actually cooked my burger medium rare, as I ordered it. Betta Chedda Burger was delicious but the sweet potato fries were a little overcooked but still good. Bloody Mary came with a big skewer of snacks: shrimp, olive, cheese, salami, pickle. Our server, Ben, was excellent, with fast service and pleasant personality. I've been to Granite City many times, but this was was one of my best experiences there.

We had a reservation and they even though we arrived early they were able to seat our large group. Food was delicious, though we waited for it for a long time. The table next to us sat down after we did, ordered, ate, and left before our food came. Glad we weren’t in a hurry, but it wouldn’t keep us from returning.

Went in with 6 ladies. Very nice. Each person enjoyed their food a lot. We were asked to switch tables before we got our meal so they gave us all free dessert. The meatloaf was very good.

Met my parents to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Was a good restaurant for tween, teen and adult food preferences. My mom has food sensitivity and was able to eat the salmon.

Despite scheduling a reservation the day before and specifying a location… when we were about to be seated the table reserved did not meet our requirements for a hearing disabled individual in our party. The manager worked to get us an appropriate table which met our needs better and we enjoyed the rest of our time there. Thanks!

The last 2 trips to the Granite City brunch were terrible. The food was under cooked or burnt, no middle ground. The selections were limited. A year later we decided to give it another go and it was just like our college days. The food was perfect, the selections were massive, the beer was great. All that was less than the service we recieved and saw throughout the restaurant. Thanks for the great meal and congratulations on getting through the tough times the last 2 years have presented. Your employees make the company proud!

Granite City offers a good variety of food. Unlimited mimosas were great. Prime rib is flavorful and tender and caramel rolls were very sweet. The floor seems very slippery which made it a little difficult to walk with a plate full of food. But all around service and food made for a good Sunday Brunch.

Our apps came to our table cold. The cheese wasn't melted on our nachos and the nachos had very little bacon and salsa on them. Cheeseburger sliders were also lukewarm and we left disappointed about the meal. Server was adequate but nothing outstanding about her service. The restaurant was not busy so I don't know what the reason could have been for the poor food quality. Not my best experience at this restaurant but I'll go back one more time, could have been just a bad night.

AJ was the server did a great job. Food was good, manager made sure everything was ok. While they did not have any table seating available on Open Table they were able to give us a regular table. Place online seems to be more brewery than restraunt, but reality was a nice restraunt with decent made on site beers.
