Granite City has the best brunch I’ve ever experienced. It is well worth the cost and has something for everyone.
I looked online for a place we could bring our dog, since we were traveling from out of town. This place did not disappoint. They seated us on the patio and even brought our pup a bowl of water. We will definitely be back!
Headed through town and wanted a good beer. This place didn’t disappoint with good food to go along with it.
It would’ve been better to have a person at each entre for buffet rather than a person dishing up for each customer. Had to wait for servers to be available to get food
Our server was exceptional! Great food, lovely patio I really enjoyed my house made seltzer!
We always love the brunch buffet. We like the changes as we haven’t attended the buffet since Covid-19. Staff was very helpful and the food good.
The chicken was over salted. The Mac & cheese did not even come with anything. The waitress was fabulous.
Good food and great patio atmosphere
Have enjoyed this restaurant before
Service and food was excellent! This was our first time out to eat since March.
Great engaging yet unobtrusive service!!!
Superb app, main, and dessert...scrumptious!!!
My wife and I went out for Valentine's Dinner for the first time in years.
I had a gift card I hadn't yet used and made reservations through OpenTable. I wanted us to try GC's special Valentine's day dinner for two.
We were seated exactly at the time of our reservation. Our Waitress was superb.
We had the Spinach/Artichoke dip on their 'Lavish' chips....yummm!
My darlin' had the sirloin steak, prepared perfectly at medium rare. It was juicy and flavourful as were her green beans almondine and roasted potatoes.
I had their Benne Bock Cheese and breaded chicken breast pasta dish. Glorious! Tender, perfectly executed penne pasta, gloriously rich, savory cheese sauce, succulently breaded, cood, and thinly sliced chicken breast pieces...oh my!
We opted for the Monster Chocolate Cake but our wonderful waitress accidently brought us a 'Big-as-your-head' Chocolate Chip Cookie instead. Delicious but not what we ordered...she recovered with aplomb.
A note about the service. She was perfect. Engaging but not intrusive and yet constantly attentive us and her other tables all evening.
All of the above created such a wonderful backdrop for a special time for my Wife and myself...nearly closed the place down!
Excellent service and the food was very good!
We enjoyed our valentines dinner at Granite City with 2 of our daughters and our son-in-law. The 2 dinners/one price was a great deal. Four of us ordered the top sirloin. Everything was good, though my steak was a bit tough.
We enjoyed ourselves and our dinner and then sat talking well past being done with our food. The waitress assured us that we hadn’t kept other Valentines Day diners waiting for a table. Great service and it seemed that there was plenty of staff to serve a full restaurant all evening! They did great work!
First time visiting the place. The food that we order was outstanding. I typically hate vegetables but in this case I couldn't stop eating it. The steak was nice juicy and moist. I didn't have the heart to ruin the perfect taste by adding steak sauce. The mac was creamy and just as delicious. The ending with chocolate cake was made in perfection and found it to be quite irresistible not to finish it in one sitting. Thank heavens it's a slice not a whole cake because I could not just eat just 1 slice. I definitely do want to make a return visit to this place once again. On some occasions I found it easier to get a table by making a reservation rather than walk in and wait.
Great place for lunch or dinner. Wide variety of food. Delicious desserts!!
Granite City's food is very tasty. The restaurant is a little loud and not great for intimate conversations, but overall a very good experience.
Overall not a bad experience! Getting drinks was a bit slow but food was amazing!
This was the first time I had eaten at granite city and I was very pleased!
Stopped by for brunch on Sunday morning. Glad that we reserved a table. The restaurant was busy. Caramel rolls were brought to our table and the rest of the meal was served buffet style. Bacon, eggs, hash browns, omelettes to order, prime rib, and so much more. Enjoyed seeing so many families out for brunch.
Great waitress we did the Buffett but many items were out and slow to refill. Some of the warm food was cold.
Good food and good service on this outing. Will go again.
The waitress was awesome and was with us whenever we needed anything. The service was exceptional and the food was awesome, always. We come back often. Highly suggested. The Northern Lights is my Fav. 🤘🏼
Absolutely love their brunch! A wide variety of options available. Book a reservation in advance to ensure timely seating.
Love Granite City!! Great food and great service! Their spinach and artichoke dip is amazing!
Always a good stop! One of our favorite places to stop, even if it's just drinks and appetizers
My son enjoyed his burger, but the fries were overdone and cold. The chocolate cake was amazing (as always)! My daughter had the buffet and ate quite a lot of salmon and some chicken limone. She seemed content. My caesar salad was pretty plain and simple, but the dressing was good. Our waiter was friendly but not very attentive. The meal was served by a friendly gal who immediately got the things our waiter had missed, so the visit turned out well.
Our waitress was rude. Showed in the tip. i had to basically flag her down for everything she ignored my mom and I when i was trying to take her out for a nice meal.
We went on Thanksgiving with a reservation made a few minutes in advance and they worked us right in:)
Just average, service was good, food was mediocre at best, prices were way out of line for what we got
Awesome service, great food!
Brunch was absolutely amazing and I never regret endless mimosas.
Excellent place to go with family and friends. Great menu with a lot of choices!
Very popular place but with reservation we were seated immediately on a Friday night. Excellent jambalaya. Fantastic craft beers.
My parents came to town and we went out to celebrate my sons football victory.
The brunch is crazy. It's packed and hard to get to the buffet tables(nearly impossible and people are constantly going 'the wrong direction' from what they instruct people to go). The layout of the room isn't designed for a brunch more or less. A bit overpriced in my opinion (drinks are not included in the buffet pricing) but the food was really good maybe not as large of a selection of foods as other restaurants for brunch but what they did have was good. The waitress was sweet.
Party of 16...great service, got drinks and food really quick!
I would go again. The only down side is the noise level is higher then I like.
service and food were great. got a little annoying and noisy when they began to play a trivia game in the bar and it carried over into the restaurant.
Great food. We were able to sit outside, so grand! Ducks were out so they entertained us.
