I always enjoy the food at Granite City! I took my dad to the Thanksgiving buffet and it did not disappoint. Everything tasted delicious and my dad really enjoyed the craft beer he ordered.

Great service and reservation confirmation! Table was very small- replaced due to damage, smaller one replaced- fine for 2, but not for 4. Food was fine, but not amazing for a buffet.

We have dined at this restaurant many times and have always found it good. This past Friday was the exception. On the positive side, the service was very good. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. The food however was TERRIBLE. We had 4 dinners, none of which were good. The chicken alfredo was watery noodles with very little sauce and dried out chicken. The hamburger was dry and very over cooked. A prime rib sandwhich was dried out, thinly sliced roast beef with zero flavor. An Arbys sandwich would have been better. One meal of a spicy chicken sandwich, without a bun was inedible. It was a balled up mess of heavily breaded chicken, overcooked with some sort of bitter spices. All of us tasted it and none would eat it. Our waiter offered to call on the manager, but we did not have time to place another order. This visit was a total disappointment. I highly doubt we will ever go back. There are many good restaurants to choose from in Sioux Falls. Avoid this one!!

Very disappointed that Zug Zwang was not available. Food was good as usual. Had to wait 30 to 25 minutes for drinks to be delivered which was unusual & disappointing. Had requested seating on the patio if available, if not a booth inside on the reservation, neither were offered.

Food was great but the company is clearly not investing in the location. I'm shocked there are no non-alcoholic drink options besides O'douls. It's 2023 There are massive pot holes in the parking lot and neglected building maintenance. The place needs a good power wash.

We went to Father’s Day brunch and it was packed and the floor was filthy everywhere I looked - probably from all the kids there and the servers being unable to keep up. But still really unappetizing. The buffet was mediocre. But our server was great!! She was so kind and helpful and was the highlight of the visit. Still won’t be going back.

We were sat at a table outside without an umbrella that was too hot to touch. We asked the girl seating us if an umbrella could be moved over half of our table. She told us we needed to ask the person waiting on us. We sat at the table for about 5 minutes and my husband tried to get the attention of the girl who sat us to see if we could just sit at the bar, and she ignored his “ma’am” each time he said it. She was right next to our table. We were getting ready to leave because we could not touch the granite table outside, and as we were about to get up, our waitress came to ask about drinks, we told her about the table. She felt the table and said, “oh yeah, that’s super hot” and said she would go in and find a spot for us at the bar. She cleaned off a spot and lead us to the bar. We asked about the Bloody Mary bar and were told they weren’t doing that right now, was told we could have a double or single, and we opted for a single. Had we known the signature Bloody Mary with a skewer was a “double” we would have ordered the double. Food was good, but the organization of the seating and the ladies at the front desk seating people were not very friendly, which was different than what we have experienced everywhere else in Sioux Falls.

The waiter we had was great. He was attentive, quick, and polite. The food was average. The buffet was priced higher for Fathers Day even though it was the same as every other Sunday. The front desk staff didn't ever attempt to help us and failed to acknowledge us coming in or leaving.

When I arrived for my reservation, I approached the desk. There were 2 young girls that did not greet me, did not smile, did not ask if they could help me, nothing. I had to greet them, announce who I was. I did suggest they "Smile"! But they just looked at me like I was nuts. I must tell you , as a trainer for customer service, their inexperience and lack of enthusiasm is a service killer. The waitress was very friendly, but one must get past the front desk to experience that. Note: I have trained customer service for years and never came across anything as sad as that. Good luck.

Made a reservation for 7:15 and did not have water on our table until 8:00. Place wasn’t even packed, we weren’t assigned a waiter until a waiter passing by asked us if we’d been greeted yet, then someone finally took our order. Service was good once they realized we existed.

Food was very good but it took a long time. We went in at 7 and didn’t leave until almost 9 because it took so long. We actually took our dessert to go because we had to get going. There were several empty tables so it wasn’t because it was busy.

Reservations for 5 at 6:30. We weren't seated until 10 or 15 minutes later. Timely drink orders taken. We ordered when waters delivered. Food orders took well over 30 minutes for 3 in our party; 40 minutes for other 2. Fries were soggy & cold. Very noisy.

we were never told how much brunch was and never come bye ask if we needed anything else. we had to ask for are Cinnamon rolls and extra napkins. we found out the kitchen was closed till 3pm if u wanted anything off the menu. some of the food was cold and over cooked. we l got my bill l was suprise how much it cost for two people over priced.
