   The service was excellent. It was greatly appreciated with the family there to be able to enjoy the meal and not have to worry about anything. We were taken care of.

   We asked about any seasonal taps & she looked to the board & listed the "normal" taps. I told her those were always available, she said I don't know much about beer & that she was pretty new. We ordered soups for our appetizer, a salad & entrees. Our entrees & salad arrived at the same time, still no soup...we ended up taking the soup to go. Overall the food was fine, the service was not up to par.

   Some of the food was very good. But the Carmel rolls were dry and burnt on the bottom. The carved meats were out when went thru lines twice. The French Toast was also dry and burnt on 1 side.

   Easter Brunch was great, they had reservations spaced out so it wasn’t crazy busy to get your food. Server was friendly and very outgoing. Food was excellent, as always.

   Although we had a reservation we were crowded between several tables. A high chair used by an adjacent table was not removed when that party left so I had to deal with moving it back and forth whenever I got up. Our waitress was inattentive and did not fill our beverages in a timely manner. She was more interested in sitting in a booth across from us with her boyfriend/husband and friends. They don’t bring the caramel rolls to the table anymore. The food was good.

   Granite City menu variety is exceptional, something for everyone! Only surpassed by the quality/taste of the food. People on staff are always friendly offering the highest level of service.

   The steak was tough. The chips that were recommended were regular chips from a pack and very hard. The drink was served without a straw, and when I asked for one, they gave me one that didn't match the size of the glass. The table was wiped with a wet dirty rag and crumbs were smeared all over the table.

    Had the Mediterranean Chicken it was tough and rice was undercooked. Meatloaf was fair but the ketchup sauce had a sweet strange flavor. Waitress was very professional and pleasant but is was very apparent they were understaffed or the leadership didn’t have their act together.
