   The brunch is mostly breakfast items. There is prime rib but it is brought out in intervals and runs out quickly resulting in 15 to 20 minute waits. Most items are not replenished quickly. They are not replaced until completely gone resulting in 15 minutes or longer waits. The items I had to wait for are prime rib, rolls and mashed potatoes. we were there early (11:30am) so it did not make sense to not replenish items.

   We were able to be seated right away, thanks to our reservation through Open Table. Our server was friendly, however we waited over an hour for our meals. There was obviously a problem in the kitchen that night, which should have been discovered sooner. Other people were getting their dinners before us, and our waiter made up some kind of story. Finally the manager came out with a small dish of chips, but I think we should have been offered an appetizer much sooner, not a few minutes before our food finally came out. The manager took care of our bill, but what we thought would be a nice evening out turned into a very frustrating experience.

   I ordered meatloaf and had to send it back twice and the second time it came back ice cold. The waitress acted as if she could careless if I was satisfied. The manager who was great, personally apologize and offered to prepare my food himself. When he brought it back the temperature was perfect but because I had been waiting over an hour and my lunch companion finished their meal I was over the meatloaf and restaurant.

   Always a great place to go. There are a lot of menu options that should fit anyone's palette.

   There were very view people in the restaurant and the service was very slow. I have talked to other people who have gone to Granite City at other locations and they experienced the same thing. Waitress was very pleasant, but it shouldn’t take over 30 minutes to get everyone served! Will not go back.

    The Sunday brunch is really nice. My first time having brunch, but my friend was disappointed not to be able to order from a menu. Nonetheless, there was plenty to choose.
