Granite City Food & Brewery - Omaha
Signature GCFB beers are brewed onsite, including: the Batch 1000 Double IPA, the Bennie German Bock, the Broad Axe Oatmeal Stout, Duke Pale Ale, and the Prairie Vixen Hefeweizen, are complemented by a rotating selection of seasonal and specialty brews.
Great food, terrible service. Hopefully it was just our waitress but I will probably only do to go orders from now on.
Appetizers were ok but we ordered 3 bison burgers and they were awful. Half the burger was medium and the other half was overdone and cooked like a hockey puck. Disappointed in the food quality
I made the reservation for our large group (18) three days in advance. They were not prepared for us in any way. When they said they were ready to seat us, they took us to two separate tables. Completely unacceptable. Manager came over to speak to us and he was clearly irritared and was flippant with me. We waited, again, while they set up another table. The waiter was very nice, but completely missed one order and another order came with the wrong side. We had to ask 3 separate times to get the correct side (for a 7 year old). The food was good, but the overall experience was not.
Had a reservation and waited 20 minutes for table.
We had the seasonal menu items, and loved them both. The Batch 2000 is really good. I had to go back a few days later to fill my growler again.
Cands, Thank you so much for dining with us and taking the time to write a review. We are very glad to hear you enjoyed the Batch 2000 IPA, and our Seasonal Menu Items. Lemon Lavender Shandy comes out next. We look forward to seeing you again. Thank you, Granite City Omaha.
You definitely get a lot for your money, the unlimited mimosas were great especially getting bottle service! My only complaint was that we were served the end of the prime rib, so it was very dry and trying to go back to get more became pretty impossible. Also was never able to get to the omelet station or the doughnut station.
But the food was great and plentiful and when we went (at 10:30am) it wasn't very busy. We had tried another weekend at 11am and had to leave because the line was out the door
Erica, Thank you for visiting and taking the time to leave a nice review. We are glad to hear that you got a lot for your money. Met friends for lunch. Ordered GC version of the pick two. The wrap and soupwere great.

Unusually poor. The place was half empty on a Saturday night. Very slow service and cold food. Disappointing.

Sunday Brunch had an assortment of foods. Beverages we're not included, but available. The line moved reasonably well.
Host seemed a little put off that we wanted to sit at a booth and not a table. Our waitress was extremely nice and accommodating.
We came away from our meal at Granite City confused and disappointed. The restaurant looked worn out with broken chairs in the dining area, mismatched lighting color from the entryway to the dining area and a broken sink in the men’s room. Our waitress was friendly, but seemed very rushed as she tried to cover other patrons. Our meals were subpar with over cooked fries, small portions and overall lack of presentation at a higher than expected cost. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this Granite City location.
Thank your visiting Granite City in Omaha and leaving a review. We appreciate your feedback and your concerns. The building is going through some updating and the lighting will all be matched very soon, all upgraded to LED soft light, 20 chairs have been upgraded this week and the sink in the men's is scheduled for repair. We apologize for how this visit left you feeling under valued, and I can assure you that issues are currently being addressed so the business can move forward.
Always enjoy the variety of the menu Granite City provides. Went Friday looking for seafood options due to Lent. Unfortunately the fish in the fish and chips dinner was cold and slightly mushy. Not sure if it just sat too long before being delivered to the table or what. Probably won't order it again though. Our server was pleasant.
From the time we came in (which was half an hour early) we were greeted warm!y and told there was no problem with is being early. We were seated right away. Our server was awesome. He kept our tea and coffee filled at all times. The food was to die for. Especially the shrimp and Prime rib we will definitely go back again
Yes but I would let them know the service was below average and the food was ok, however, the beer s great.
Shonte our server was amazing! Friendly, funny and gave us excellent suggestions! Had the chocolate covered strawberry drink which was delicious and my husband had the hot chicken and biscuits which were to die for!
I went with my boyfriend for our first Valentine's Day on Friday, 2/15. The food and beer was delicious and the ambience was relaxed. The service was friendly and on top of everything before we needed to ask. We well definitely be going back soon.
Good food with a nice variety of selections. I had the bison burger it was very good, my wife had the the jambalaya and she ended that. Good selection of craft beer.
Took my wife out for Vday. The Vday special was an appetizer, two entrees and two desserts for $45. The appetizer was amazing, but the entrees were quite bland. The desserts were just ok - the creme brûlée was alright, but my wife’s brownie was very hard.
Service was pretty good. Ambiance was alright, but it was also quite noisy.
Went here for a family birthday. Plenty of choices on the menu for everyone. Service was great. Food was really good. Will be back again for sure.
My family decided to try out GC for brunch on Sunday. I'm from out of town & had only been here for dinner. The brunch did not disappoint and it was a great value! Whenever the line got crowded, it thinned out quickly so there wasn't much unnecessary waiting. I'll definitely be back when I'm back in town!
The food was tall food with a lot of menu variety and creativity. Appetizers were really pricey, while some entrees Semmes a bit high. Overall a great place to go.
Had a reservation for 10:30, got there at 10:20 and were seated right away. Changes to the menu were good. enjoyed it
They weren't even busy and the service was slow. Hostess was walking around eating. Waiter was more worried about party of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids). Will not go back.
Easy to get a table when we showed up for our reservation. Server was excellent and food tasted great.
My husband and I hadn't been to the Sunday brunch for about a year. We used Open Table for the first time and found the reservation process easy to use. We were also impressed with the food choices being offered. Our server, Erika, was very efficient, friendly and answered all our questions. We will be back.
Great service and menu selection.
Price went up for Sunday brunch.
Champagne mimosa a great value .
Upon arrival we were informed of a delay in seating due to the fact that reservations exceeded expectations. Then why make reservations? Our host Spence was quite interesting to say the least. We order the champagne only to witness him having difficulty opening the bottle thus allowing it to spill on the floor. Watching him later during our visit with other customers his efforts were much improved. On the desert selection he offered the selections only to return and advised that our choice was frozen and would we prefer a different choice. All in all, while I wouldn’t say it dampened our reason for visiting, it didn’t impress either.
Had a reservation, had to wait 20 min, they seated walk ins ahead of us. Slow service. Snippy waitress. No apologies from hostess or waitress for any of this. Food mediocre.
the food and service was really good and fast . waiter was really good.
Very nice place to bring someone from out of town. Great atmosphere and staff!
Excellent service and the drinks and food were amazing!!!

Nice value for brunch
Would recommend for casual dining with group
Waitress was very nice but never around. We were missing food from our plates. Took forever to get someone to help us. Food tasted great & nice atmosphere. Just needed people to communicate.
Food and atmosphere were great. A bit noisy as it can be when crowded. But the service was over the top. Our waiter, Todd, was incredibly attentive, timely, articulate and courteous. He made the visit. Hats off to Todd.
The server set the tone for our evening. Her lack luster demeanor didn’t help. We ordered food and drinks. Our bill came to a lot more than we thought. The waitress did not inform us of the upcharges.
we came thurs nt for thx giving dinner. we were seated right on time and the dinner was great. plenty of food and our gal was extremely friendly all night long. thx
