Prime rib was dry. Cinnamon rolls were dry. Omelet and parmesan hashbrowns were wonderful!!!!!! Excellent selection of food for the value.
Very nice balance of buffet and individual ordering options. Very good food.
Good menu selection and drinks at bar. Seats by kitchen aren’t very appealing, though. Requested to move our seat.
Service plus food equals value....always the best thanks to Jason, Jarret,Kyle and the rest
I visited Granite City for a quiet dinner with a friend. Our waiter was very attentive but not pushy and the food was good. I would definitely visit again!
Loved our Thanksgiving dinner. Our original plans were to go to our daughters house for a big family dinner. But her husband came down w/the flu on Thanksgiving so we went to plan B. The food was beyond delicious. My son is allergic to peanuts and pecans and the server worked with the chef to ensure no cross contamination or problems. We even had leftovers to take home and we didn't have to cook. Thanks for making what could have been a challenging thanksgiving into a fabulous holiday!
Thanksgiving Dinner was very well prepared and valued with very quiet environment. Turkey and side dishes were very well cooked and delicious. Roast beef dish was not up to expectation, though. It wasn’t a slices of roast beef dish that is norm. To cut the ingredient expense, the dish was a mix of very small chunks of roast beef with various vegetables... Very disappointed but turkey dish with all the side dishes was excellent...
Great food and ambience were wonderful. Enjoyed the $5 pitchers!! Should do that more often on the weekends!!
Jason and Jarrett always make sure everything is perfect
Fish fry was all dough, little fish. Service was slow and not attentive.
Made a reservation on Open Table and indicated it was a celebration and asked for a booth for four. The restaurant was not full. We were taken to two little tables pushed together in the lousiest back area where they send the families with noisy small children. The whole point of going to this place is that it is a brewery. Were were up against a back wall away from the bar, fireplace, big kegs, or anything interesting to look at and NOT in the booth we requested. Service was was pleasant but the food was sub-par. Used to go here often, but so disappointed, will hesitate to go again.
The Rum Chada French Toast and build your omelet was great!
We had a turkey dinner from the specials menu that came out dry. Upon my wife saying something to the server it was whisked away and the chicken limone was brought out which was excellent (as usual). Despite that hiccup all was very good. That is until we found out the manager is a Patriots fan which we decided to ignore.
We enjoy this place when going out with friends. Good food and good atmosphere
Went there with friends tonight.
My wife had the salmon, her friend steak salad and the two of us guys got burgers.
Everything was outstanding. All was prepared to request and served hot.
One of my best meals there.
Server Brandon and Manager were extremely helpful an accommodating. Good beer list and ok menu. It’s a great burger and a beer joint; we were looking for something else. We’ll be back.
Food was outstanding, our waitress was so sweet and very attentive without being “ bothersome “ Ambiance was great as well! We will be back!
Staff was very fun.
Food was good.
Will come back.
Great place for comfy food. Fun menu, very accomodating and willing to substitute according to tastebuds or dietary reasons. Very good food, priced right. Definitely would come back.
Great casual/ great food/ best value/ friendly staff
Delicious salads, flatbreads, burgers
Good service..each time we go is a pleasant experience
Food was very good.
Waitstaff was non communitive. I am also still waiting (15 hrs later) for her to ask if we would like any more water? Or just come and refill when you see 10 min in to meal both our glasses are empty.
Good price for lunch combo - and I especially enjoy the cheese and ale soup
Went to dinner there on Sunday evening with family including a toddler. The food was good as was the atmosphere. Nice menu with many good choices. Very good service. I would definitely go back.
Great Octoberfest ....the seasonal beer is outstanding. Great Wurst combo with pretzels.
No place is better for the service; consistently friendly and attentive.
Brunch is satisfying, has a moderate number of items including popular favorites, and is reasonably priced.
It was great food and great service but they would not take a groupon for them and manager never came out to help..
Food and service were terrific. Really enjoyed the craft beer flights.
It was great. I recommend that you try the chocolate chip cookie skillet!!!
I saw an ad for their Oktoberfest menu on social media and went in for the Jagerschnitzel with braised red cabbage, roasted brussel sprouts and spaetzle. It was wonderful! The cabbage was slightly sweet. The Brussel sprouts were roasted perfectly with nice crispy outer layers. The meat had a crunchy outside bread and was tenderly moist inside. Their Blue-eyed Brunette beer was a perfect beverage pairing.
Staff could be a lot friendlier! Hostesses and server not friendly and not welcoming! One dish we ordered didn’t have all the components that were listed on menu and when we went to order the seasonal dessert they didn’t have it!
Mgrs Jason and Jarret watch over a excellent server staff including Kyle,Edger,Johnathon,Karen, and Cheryl.
The service was slow and it was implicit that this was a business meeting where our orders and to go orders needed to be processed promptly. We are somewhat disappointed.
We had a very positive dinner experience. Our server was attentive and responsive, and we liked the variety of options on the menus. We were all pleased with our choices, and we also appreciated being able to sit outside to enjoy a pleasant summer evening. We will definitely return!
Pretty good food and reasonable prices! We got seated in a less attractive and lively area of the restaurant, but it’s overall a nice place.
This was a very pleasant lunch - much better than when I was there for an anniversary lunch August 12th!
(the anniversary indicated w/reservation was not acknowledged) - nor was reservation on arrival! (1 PM) -The Sunday buffet was depleted and absolutely deserted!
Ashlee, our server this time, was very attentive and knowledgeable - I think I have to avoid Sundays!
Goodbye dinner with friends
First time and loved it as a local dining experience in the area we were visiting.
The food was the expected good bar food, but while the waitress was delightful, the order took 45 minutes to arrive. She blamed computer error, and without my even suggesting compensation, the manager picked up the entire check. Very good customer relations!
We were at Granit City for dinner after a movie on Saturday night. We were surprised that it was not more crowded at that time. The salads were generous and good. I had the prime rib sandwich. My friend had the scallops. He said the scallops were average. Not bad but edible. My sandwich was not edible. The beef was sliced very thin and clearly reheated. If I wanted reheated leftover food, I could have eaten at home. When the server saw I didn't eat much of my food, she asked if I wanted something else. Since my friend had finished his meal I said no thank you. When she brought the check she said the manager did not charge us for my meal. That was a very nice thing to do since I did not bring the problem to their attention, but a delicious meal would have been better.
