The “Lawless Brunch” was great. Wonderful variety and excellent food. We’ll be back before too long!
Sounds funny, but the only thing I didn't like about my fish & chips was the fish. There was too much breading and the fish was a bit too ... mushy? Other than that, the meal was excellent and I'm excited to go back!
Great food and service. One of our favorite restaurants.
Always good at Granite City
My mom and I come here for monthly brunch. I love the buffet style so that I can eat as little or as much as I would like. The lunch buffet items changes which is a nice change. We love the prime rib station as they will grill you prime rib to well done. Service has been outstanding. I like ginger ale, while it’s not on their drink menu, the bartender makes it for me every time. Great food, great service, great memories!
Temperature of the food was not always appropriate, plus the temperature of the restaurant was too hot. It was Father's Day so I will give it another try when it's not a holiday.
We went for Father's Day Sunday brunch. Great food and value - especially for the kids at under $10 each. Would definitely go again or recommend.
Our server was great. She was fun and efficient and made the time there pleasant. We loved the new omelette station where you choose your ingredients in a small bowl and the chef's make it. Great Fathers Day.
Was a double date and was absolutely wondefful
Not many good choices for someone watching calories. Service ok but restaurant was dead during lunch so server had only us to care for ... so was always at the table ... too much attention. I doubt we’ll go back to this restaurant.
yes I would recommend Granite City to all my friends. Only negative is that it is so darn cold in the back area of the restaurant
Food came out of the kitchen cold. Overall would not return, too expensive for poor quality food.
Just overall experience not good have been there before for the brunch.
Had to ask for more to drink, silverware wasn't clean and most of the food was cold waitresses and waiters were talking and not paying attention to the customers. Probably won't be back soon. Which is bad because really liked the place the first time there.
All of our meals were excellent. The chefs use of spices in our varied meals made the experience outstanding.
Our server was very personable and her suggestions valuable.
We will definitely return again and recommend to family and friends.
Excellent service and good food.
Excellent dining experience our waiter Garret was exceptional. We went to Sunday Brunch to celebrate our sons graduation from Notre Dame and this experience was wonderful. We highly recommend this restaurant. Also we recommend you ask for Garret to be your server. 5 star experience
I’ve had the brunch on many occasions but this last time I was less than impressed. Each time I attend brunch one of my favorite items is the waffles and to see that they were replaced with donuts is quite disappointing. To see items like a side salad is not what you expect to see especially when the price has been increased.
On a positive note our waitress was amazing!! It was a girls day out and had 5 women in a smaller booth. We asked to be moved and she helped us to a table with no problems. We also was there much longer than expected and she was still super nice. Next time I won’t do the brunch.
Great time and food was good.
it is commencement weekend in town so all restaurants were busy as was granite city. we had made a reservation and were seated within a few minutes. the food and drinks seemed to arrive without trouble. we shared a bavarian pretzel and flat bread. we always find the cheese dip with the pretzel good and the flat breads are so tasty. we also each had a beer, two pull and a stout, great flavors for both. as I mentioned the place was busy but a big shout out to our waitress,Taylor. although busy she greeted us with a great smile and was smiling each time she checked to be sure we were enjoying the food and had what we needed. we have been to granite city many time and with the service and food at a high level, we will continue to be regular patrons.
We had a reservations for 10:30 and they called me and moved them to 11:15 a week before and then we arrived and they were so far behind so overbooked that our 11:15 reservations we didn’t even get seated until after 12 and when I was sitting waiting for a table, I saw people ask how long for walking and I saw them come in and leave without a reservation about a half an hour before I even got seated. I made these reservations a month before Mother’s Day for reason. they put in some tables and these really cheap chairs that you kind of felt like you were going to break. I was worried about my 86-year-old mother-in-law falling. They couldn’t keep up with food because of so many people. Last year we went there for Mother’s Day without a problem I feel this year the restaurant got too greedy
The food was good, we waited for a few minutes but nothing horrible. Service was good, they had a decent amount of people in there for prom, but we were seated fast due to making reservations.
This was once a favorite but it has been a couple of years. It seems that they have changed management and the menu too much. Not hurrying back.
The atmosphere was great and the food service was fast! Only issue that we had was that the appetizer came out the same time as the main course!
We had a reservation but didn’t get sat till 30 min after the reservation was set for. That was our only complaint! Food was amazing and service was sat was awesome.
It would have gotten 5 stars if the reservations were more accurate. Waiting 15, maybe 20 minutes is understandable. Waiting 30+ for three people is just poor time management. The bar was a bit noisy (music) for Easter Sunday when it was being used for Easter Brunch. We keep coming back though, so you're doing mostly great!
Meh..food ok... service ok. Glad we had a coupon for ten dollars off.
Service was great, buffet spread delicious. Understandably, the place was packed for Easter brunch, so noisier than usual but a great experience overall. We had an excellent waiter, who remained pleasant and attentive in spite of being extremely busy at multiple tables. Enjoyed our brunch!
Granite City for Easter or any other holiday celebrations is incredibly chaotic!! The restaurant tries but it is too small to be a peaceful place to eat. Good food! Wait staff was great!
Great Family Friendly Brunch. Good alternative to the standard breakfast options.
All of the food was fast, hot and delicious! Very nice portion size and beautifully displayed on plates. Booths are big and gives you your dining privacy. Beautiful atmosphere! Servers are always happy and smiling but we did have to ask for our drinks to be refilled but they were starting to get busy. They didn't do anything special for my birthday but we still had a good time.Overall satisfied and we will be back again for happy hour!
We always have a great time at Granite City Food & Brewery - Mishawaka. K & A Trivia on Tuesdays is so much fun! Food and drinks are excellent all around.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Friendly staff.
Took my daughter and her friend for dinner. My daughter and I both had a pasta dish and both of us got sick that night. The friend did not have pasta and did not get sick.
Our server had a couple of larger tables and was not attentive to us.
I can chalk Granite City off my list of restaurants...
They had great food and drinks. However, the service was incredibly slow so we left after drinks and an appetizer to find dinner elsewhere.
Yes Granite City is a Favorite place to dine and the servers always do a Great Job!
Brunch was amazing, and you can’t beat $10 Infiniti mimosas
We have always used GC brunch for family gatherings and birthday celebrations...however we won't anymore. We loved the fresh salads, vegetables, ham or chicken and waffles....these r no longer on the table. Instead they offer a donut bar , cold hard eggs and potatoes and a cold rice and chicken casserole, Mac and cheese. Beef was cold and well done. Watermelon was cut in 1/2 inch cubes and mostly mush. Only item hot and good was omelet , however there were usually 12 people ahead and long wait.
So, we will go to Dunkin to get a donut or a breakfast restaurant for our eggs and waffles... Or a nice lunch elsewhere. Our last brunch of 19 people was in November for my mothers 90th birthday and it was delicious. This new menu is just down right disappointing!!! Just not worth it.
Sunday brunch was delicious but I can't say I felt like the $18 price per person was worth it.
We had the buffet. Cooked food was only luke warm, needs to be kept warmer. Otherwise, nice variety
The brunch was pretty good. Our waitress was a little slow on service with coffee and check, but overall the experience and food was good. The food was tasty.
