Signature GCFB beers are brewed onsite, including: the Batch 1000 Double IPA, the Bennie German Bock, the Broad Axe Oatmeal Stout, Duke Pale Ale, and the Prairie Vixen Hefeweizen, are complemented by a rotating selection of seasonal and specialty brews.
The food was good but the tables were too close together. Made getting more food very inconvenient. Loved the omelets!
Great food and service!
We go to Granite City at least twice a week taking advantage of Happy Hour and coupons. Because we are elderly, we try to go early in the evening before the noise level rises.
Everyone there is very helpful and friendly. Our food was hot and very tasty.
Waited 45 minutes to get food, nothing was offered to us for the long wait, server did keep us informed, poor management of cooks
Food was slop, waitress avoided our attempts to flag her down and after 40 minutes my limp lettuce arrived covered in dressing when i ordered dry. Avoid at all costs
The sweet potato fries were hot, but the pepperoni flatbread was over cooked (the crust was very brown and very crunchy) and not very hot. The restaurant is very cold, when I left my feet were ice cold.
They screwed up our reservation and we ended up waiting nearly 30 minutes for our table. But once seated they did everything they could to get us our drinks/meals/etc and were more than generous in reducing our prices to offset their mistake. The food was delicious.
We had a party of 12, food was great our waitress was very attentive to our needs. She did a great job. We have been there before brunch and dinner always been food food and service.will be back
Phenomenal service by our server, Natalie. It was her first day and she was more than impressive. Food was super tasty. Looking forward to our next visit.
Everything but the chips was delicious. We told our server that we were in a hurry to make the game, and even though they were very busy, we were served quite quickly.
My only real complaint was during a visit to the ladies restroom. Stalls were out of toilet paper and the trash bins were so full of paper towels that they were spilling out onto the floor. It just looked very messy and lacking attention by staff.
Had no wait time at all, nice to walk right in and be seated. Staff was friendly and very attentive. Atmosphere and setting was nice, not too loud or over crowded, and the food was awesome, can’t wait to go back for more.
Our booth wasn't ready but they seated us pretty quickly. Our server Dillon was excellent, very attentive & friendly.
We had a party of 9 (5 adults, 4 kids) so we had a reservation at 7:00. We were seated right away, but didn’t have a server come to us for 20 minutes...and that was after we complained twice. We finally got someone to help us who wasn’t our server (she was usually a bartender) and she took over because our sever was overwhelmed. Let me tell you, Lindsay was phenomenal! She stepped up and took care of us. They brought us fruit and nachos as a snack to apologize, and then they also gave us two free appetizers. Lindsay was very attentive and was an amazing server! We have her a very generous tip. Thank you Lindsay and Granite city for taking care of us after the mix up. We appreciate you and will be back!
Our waitress was amazing! The food was good as always.
Great place to eat and visit with friends. I would highly recommend Granite City.
We visited for Sunday Brunch, which has a nice selection. Lines weren't long to wait and the food was hot.
Bison Burger and cauliflower wings were very good. Service was not great, very slow
Table wasn't ready for 35 min after Reservation time. Reservation was made for outside. Seated inside. Took 15 for server to greet me at my table. Food was very slow to arrive, when it was only an appetizer. Restaurant was not busy. Several open tables. Understaffed.
Tommy was very attentive as our server. He brought birthday treat for our friend without even being asked. It was appreciated.
Heather is a great server. It’s just always cold in the bar area, so the food doesn’t stay warm very long
We dine at Granite City quite often; however, this last trip was a horrible experience. We made reservations with Open Table and there was NO wait when we arrived, but it took the host over 10-minutes to prepare our table (take menus over and set out napkins). The place was only half-full so I am not sure what the problem was.
The food service was incredibly slow and took forever for our food to arrive. Our server was working hard to work with us, but the kitchen was behind. The food came out cold and not up to their normal standards. Not sure what happened here, but would hate to have to stop coming to what used to be one of our favorite local spots.
Sunday Brunch was delicious
My aunt and my cousins and my sisters all got together for brunch. Something we never get the chance to do. Granite city was wonderful. The food was fantastic! The service was above and beyond. And they didn’t mind that we lingered at our table to visit. Great choice
Food tasted good! Loved the fish and chips as well as the burgers. However, the there were not enough servers for the amount of customers in the restaurant. Our server was nice but was very busy because she was by herself.
On a whim ( & for the 1st time) I made reservations tho we frequently eat there. Good thing we had reservations because a major sporting event was happening nearby, & the restaurant was packed! Understandably, the service was a tad slow, but the new menu items made the wait worthwhile.
We were so looking forward to eating at Granite City with our family this past Saturday, especially since we were able to make a reservation for our party of six. Trip Advisor had them rated as number 3 in the Legends Shopping Area, but not sure this is an accurate rating.
Our waiter was very busy and not very organized. We waited quite awhile for our drink order and when it did arrive he spilled a whole glass of ice water on my grandson. From there it only got worse because he dumped a whole tray of food on the floor by our table. He was truly sorry and very apologetic. He spoke to the manager about the episode and the manager only allowed him to take off less than $10 for all that happened.
Our steak dinners were delicious! Our server Jensyn was excellent! Our table was ready when we got there.
We felt that the food was mediocre, so we don’t plan on returning. Our service was great. The staff was very personable in the restaurant and bar.
Our steak dinners were delicious! Jensyn was a joy to have for our server! Our table was ready for us when we arrived.
My wife and her friend ordered a chicken salad and they reported it was not good at all. I had the fish and chips and they were fine.
The food was ok, nothing spectacular. Our food was somewhat cold when it arrived, too. The food seemed overpriced, as well, for what it was. Our server was fabulous - friendly, quick, and great with refills.
Great cinnamon rolls and ambiance , service was great and waiters were nice and helpful. The overall setup was good and family friendly even the water was good and fresh , for brunch I would like to see more meats . Overall the restaurant was nice and clean with spacious table seating.
This was the first time I had a bad experience here. It was not advertised that the full menu would not be available on Father’s Day and I assumed the brunch would be optional as it has been in the past. Food was mediocre at best, a huge difference from the times I’ve ordered off the menu, and the waitress had an attitude with my dad, on Father’s Day. Won’t be going back again for a while and definitely will not be having their brunch again.
Alyssa was awesome like usual. We are going to miss her! She got our orders out quickly & correctly.
Music was too loud when we were first seated. Seemed they turned it down after awhile. We did not request it. Waitress seemed too spread out but was definitely hustling. Coffee was undrinkable but she did replace it with a coke.
I always enjoy visiting this location of Granite City. They provide great food in a great atmosphere with excellent service.
