We met a relative who had flown in from California...we were looking for a restaurant that none of us had been to. It was very very good. Food was amazing...quiet enough to talk but lively enough as to not feel stuffy! Would definitely go again next time...
Food was good, server was very move, but kitchen was very slow for no more people they had in the restaurant. Will need to reconsider next business lunch.
You cannot beat the Sunday brunch! The food and service was amazing.
We had gone to the Pops series at the ISO and stopped here for lunch afterwards. Loved the 9.99 lunch specials.
The food was not what we expected.... very bland. Would love to find a place that makes traditional biscuits and gravy and fried potatoes....
Mother’s Day brunch. This restaurant is not equipped to present a brunch. Too confusing with stations being so far apart and food that wasn’t prepared immediately was too cold. Our wait staff was wonderful as was our hostess, but brunch for Mother’s Day is just not their thing.
Kitchen took an hour and a half for dinner. 40 min for appetizers. No fault of waitress, she warned us in advance.
the cheeseburger bun was dry and i could barely swallow my cheeseburger. waste of $11
Seated right away. Drinks and appetizers came quickly and were warm and accurate. Dinner arrived 1.5 hours later with no explanation other than sorry. I’m wondering if they could handle the crowd they had. Once dinner arrived, it was cold and bland. Unlikely to return.
Had a reservation at 2:45 for the Easter buffet. Arrived to find out the buffet was closing at 3:00 and that they were out of the ham, prime rib and shrimp. We were offered a discount and told they had been busier than expected; but obviously with having one of the last reservations of the day, they knew there would be a full house. Bad planning. We were told since the buffet was still going on that we couldn't order off the menu until it closed. After about 15 minutes of confusion, we ordered from the menu.
My steak was under-cooked despite describing the center i wanted by color, my son's cheeseburger did not come with the bacon that was ordered, and her red skin potatoes came as mashed (the waitress new and offered to replace, we declined).
Really disappointing experience.
Poor service. Poor food. The manager set their team up for failure to do too much. The capacity of what they wanted to do verses execution was horrible. 1 person to do omelette and carving station meant no one was being served well. Promoted Turkey with all trimmings, never saw Turkey. Cold Ham, couldn't refill food station's to serve crowd. Will never go back.
It was Easter Brunch. The food presented was good, however they ran out of ALL the carved meat by 1:30. My daughter and I just had 1 tiny end piece of ham and NO prime rib. The shrimp were very good as were the omelets. It was VERY disappointing to have no carved meats so early. Service was superb
I have eaten here before, but today's Easter brunch was one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. 30 minutes to get a beverage, and I never got the cup of coffee I ordered. The food trays were virtually empty when I got there, and it took more than 30 minutes to get it restocked. Ordered and eggs benedict from the food station, but the hollandaise sauce was completely broken. When I asked the cook the go see if there was some more in the kitchen, he just said that's all we've got, and then ignored me. At this point, I was so frustrated and stressed out that I called the manager over and told him my experience, and that I wanted to leave. He said okay, and didn't charge me for the buffet, but then charged me for the unlimited mimosas, of which I have exactly one glass. Probably will not return.
Cost: $24.99 Worth: $5.99. Not the best Easter Brunch. It was actually pretty disappointing. We arrived at our reservation time (noon) and there was no hostess to be found. We waited 10 minutes before we finally went and found someone to seat us. The buffet was bare. Only cheap bread products, salad, burnt rice, over cooked salmon, and dried up biscuits. It took them over 30 minutes before they started to replenish the Buffett all of the stations were empty. Then there was a carving station that was extremely disappointing. There was no clear line so everyone kept cutting in line it was a mess. The staff as well looked unprofessional and all clueless of what was even going on. It took our waitress about 15 mins to bring us water. It also wasn’t even busy there were so many open tables in the restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant for Easter Brunch. They are advertising for Mother’s Day Brunch as well and I’m sure that’s the same thing. Stay far away.
Brunch menu was average. Prime rib was very salty and over cooked. Our server, Marjorie, was excellent. She attended to us promptly despite her extremely heavy workload that day.
Great food at an excellent price and value. Brunch is awesome
I am a Wedding Officiant. I may take advantage of their private room for intimate services.
Brunch was great. My family and I really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and staff. Mimosa was delightful. We will definitely be back.
I ordered off the gluten free menu. Apparently what was in the menu is not what I got since they changed the regime i and not the gluten free menu. Let’s just say it was not good at all. Normally I rave about this place but after the service which we got which was horrible on top of the menu being wrong and providing something completely different than what I ordered, we will never go back.
Food was very good and waitress was outstanding! I would defintely return and recommend.
Everything was good. I had a pasta dish. Have you considered offering a small plate?
Food was great and the service was even better! Will go back again and again!
We were there on a Monday, it was fairly slow when we were seated. It took entirely too long for our drinks to be brought and for our order to be taken. When the food was brought out, I ordered another pint. It didnt show up until i was already done eating my meal. Food was decent, but the terribly slow service makes me not want to go back.
Service was great. Arranged a group dinner with very short notice and staff was awesome and food was great for a diverse menu.
The menu was varied, the food quality was good, and service was attentive without being annoying.
Everything we ordered was way too salty.
Couldn’t eat our appetizer which was the cauliflower. My triple threat pork tacos were extremely salty. Will not be going back ever.
Bria and Kennedy assisted us at the create your own stations and they were both super delightful! They had wonderful personalities and they provided fast service. The food was great. Will be back
This is the worst restaurant experience I have in a while.
The food was wonderful and price is reasonable. Our server was nice.
Granite City would not be my go to eatery. My husbands steak was excellent, his flatbread margarita was very good and although they did not have the brownie sundae, the war chocolate chip cookie was excellent! My salmon and rice were over done in several spots with the rice being crunchy and salmon well done in over half the places. Thank heavens this was a part of Devour Indy and thus a slightly reduced price. I was disappointed.
We were late getting there but we made the reservation
The food and service was excellent. I had a reservation during the Circle City Classic weekend and there was literally no waiting. Awesome Experience.
We wanted a brunch before the Colts game where we could make a reservation. This fit the bill. It was a good but not great brunch. Still, we would try it again.
Great service and delicious food!
Had a table reserved and still ended up waiting. Ordered our food, 15 minutes later, told that they are out of steak so we needed to choose an alternative which was fine. Everyone in our group had burgers and wings. We waited almost an hour to get our food. When we got it, everything was cold except the fries. I asked for the check before we were done eating and it took almost another half hour to get the check. Our dining experience was almost 2 hours for sub-par food and service
Great food for a reasonable price. The service was outstanding.
Visited for Sunday brunch buffet. The food was equivalent to what I would expect at a hotel breakfast buffet. Not good at all.
Granite City has a great beer list and very good menu. Great place to eat.
Excellent server, Very attentive. Good food. Much better than many downtown places we tried.
Truly enjoyed my experience. The flights of beer were $4.95 which is a great price. The food was great and it was tough to decide what to order because they offer a lot of great sounding meals.
