Everything was great with the exception of the steak salad. The meat was so tough that I was unable to chew or cut with a knife
We have been many times an loved it. However, we had been unable to go for a couple years and we couldn't wait to get back. And we were disappointed to say the least. We found that the menu had changed and not to our taste. Trying to be an upscale dining establishment and missed the mark. I'm sure it was a corporate decision to change the menu and so corporate lost us as customers. Service was great, but food was not.
The food was good, but overpriced in my opinion. Our server checked on us by quickly asking if we were doing okay while walking past our table. Last time I was there, the manager was unhelpful and rude when attempting to help us with our reservation.
I ate the chicken giardinara and wondered if I got a half portion. It was very small and not worth the money. My husband got 10 fries with his dinner. Overpriced for the amount and quality of food. Service was great, though.
Had a nice time at Granite City. The food was good. The only thing that could have been better was the bread/crackers that come with the spinach dip appetizer. They seemed stale. The spinach dip was good, though.
We had brunch there and were pleasantly surprised that the adult price didn't apply to our kids. Our 11yo son was $6.95 and the twins (7) were free.
The food was good, the kids LOVED the donut station, and my husband and I were both able to find plenty of Keto options.
Our server was a bit slow on refills and plate clearing, but he was also chatting up our kids and super friendly, so it was a good trade off.
Always great service here. A Large variety of food to choose from. Meals served hot and quick.
The food was great and the atmosphere is very comfortable. We had a Chicken Limone dish and a Slab of Kona Coffee BBQ Ribs and both were very tasty. I also tried the Shandy Blend Craft Beer which if you like the beer/lemonade combo is a must. Super yummy for sure. Overall it was a great date night dinner on the 4th of July with my girlfriend before the fireworks. TIP: Make a reservation or else you might be waiting quite a while to sit down. I learned this the hard way a few years ago but this year with the reservation we sat down within a minute or two of getting there.
The food and service were so bad that it will be a family joke for many years to come. The blueberry long island was crystal light I'm assuming (didnt drink, taken off bill). My beer tasted like the tap was moldy. The ribeye was ordered medium rare and it came back well done (didnt eat, taken off bill). Decided to get something on the way home to eat to avoid waiting another hour for nasty food. The waitress was nice but we only saw her maybe 3 times. Never was asked if I needed a refill and when we showed her the quality of our food it took another 30 mins to get our bill right.
The brunch buffet was way overpriced and the service wasn't very good. The food didn't taste all that great either. Very disappointed...
Food was good! Service was kind of slow but our waiter was very friendly and helpful!
Food was good and the service was fine, but there were a lot of flying gnats we had to contend with during the entire meal. Very disappointing to have to constantly wave bugs away from you.
Good food and service. We were seated right when we arrived and got the ticked without waiting when were finished. Very enjoyable.
The prime rib is what I came for it was already at medium at best I really wanted to come and get some medium rare something with some real juice it was like eating roast beef very tender though love the roles that were at the table and the bacon was amazing. The server didn't really give a heads-up on the bloody Mary experience or the endless mimosa which kind of oil is a bummer I kind of wanted to know about that I guess I should have said something even though it was just my first time there probably not coming back for brunch I drive 45 minutes stayed overnight for it
Was in East Peoria for state softball. Had a large group, they were very accommodating!!!
Good food and service. We had to fight off bugs (fleas? Gnats?) throughout our meal.
We had dinner entrees. I would stick with the sandwiches, etc. Entrees were a little pricy for not much food.
Good meal. Large choice of salad seafood and meats. Locally brewed beers very tasty.
Good food and good service. Everyone in our party got what they ordered and it came out hot and tasted good. Only issue was a flickering light above the table that bothered a couple of people
Great seafood. Bartender and waitress were both fun and professional.
Pleasant staff - food was satisfactory - stir fry vegetables with salmon were quite spicy - did not finish. A reasonable meal for six adults and two children. Will not try the stir fry again.
Initially I was disappointed that the beddah cheddah burger is no longer in the lunch special menu, as I like both it and the Asian salad, and that had been my regular choice. That lead me to try the southwest turkey burger, and it was outstanding. It was a great meal!
There were four of us. We each ate something different.... Steak, Jumbalia, fish, meatloaf....all were delicious...we will be back again. Very satisfied...good service too.
Had a bison burger it was amazing however the fries were undercooked. Service was good and good beer choice just a casual vibe with high prices
Great Service, our waitress went above and beyond for our group of 11 people.
We were all pleasant surprised at the quality of the food. We expected good, but not exceptional dishes as are typical from a national chain. The food exceeded this expectation on many of the dishes our party of 9 ordered.
The food was below our expectations, partly our choice but menu was unclear . Service was great. We have ate here before and enjoyed it more
Easter Bunny Brunch was fun and the kids loved it!
Consistently good ! Service always good. Love the variety on your menu. Please keep doing that. We love your place‼️
The last few times we’ve visited, this place has not disappointed. Excellent food, cooked to perfection. Lots of choices for sides.
I enjoyed a birthday celebration with my family . There were children and adults and there was something for everyone. It was a quiet evening in GC.
Everyone had a wonderful experience. Each food choice looked and tasted delicious. Chocolate cake 👍👍
Hostess was rude. After seated waited 20 minutes and finally had to get up and ask for drinks and silverware. Waitress was not very attentive or friendly. We had our kids and grandkids with us. Cost us a $100 and service was terrible. We’ve been 4 times in the last month and a half and each time it has gotten worse. First time was wonderful. Since then not.
Our waitress was very friendly and very accommodating. The food was very good and was served in a timely manner.
This was the WORST brunch I've ever been at. The food was horrible and I doubt I will ever go back for brunch again
A waist of my money.
Food is always great here. The beer is good and the wait staff is always wonderful.
I made a reservation online for Sunday brunch and was concerned there may be a mix up, but our table was waiting for us upon arrival. Luckily, since the person who came in after me had not made a reservation and was told there would be a 45 min wait. Upon sitting we were given a plate of carmel rolls which are delicious. Waitress was very attentive with refills and clearing plates. The brunch is really good! Lots of variety. Omelet bar, eggs Benedict, prime rib & ham, etc... Amazing donut bar where they dip your donut in your chosen frosting and then you put on the toppings. A little pricey, but I understand they have to allow for a lot of waste. Table next to us had a lot of wasted food on their table. We were allowed to take home the Carmel rolls we didn’t eat, which was nice. All in all a very pleasant experience
Everyone in the family wanted something different so we landed at GC. Hadn't been there in awhile and were pleasantly surprised. Googled GC to see if I could make a reservation online and Opentable popped up with available times. I selected the first time available and drove to the restaurant. We walked in 3 minutes before our reservation and literally were walked directly to our table. My wife had a salad, I had the tuna, my son a bacon cheese burger and daughter Cajun pasta. All the food was delicious, service was outstanding. I felt the prices were a bit steep, but quality of the food and service justified the prices.
Slightly high priced, but excellent food. My son couldn’t get over how his steak literally melted in his mouth.
