It was nice to get out .... the food is barely average...wait staff nice/friendly...pricing a little high for the quality of the food....clothes smelled greasy and icky .... I would not recommend or return
Our favorite local restaurant & brewery
Staff was excellent. Granite city should be very proud of them. I usually go to the Roseville site but this time I decided on Eagan. I was very disappointed in the French Onion soup. It tasted watered down not much flavor and there was so much cheese on it I felt like I was chewing gum. The turkey sandwich was more bread than anything else. Y daughters food was good. She had chicken fingers. This will not stop me from coming back because the food usually very good.
My party of three enjoyed Granite City, especially one person with speech issues. Your waitress was very patient.
Their employees do NOT keep their hair pulled back. Hair dangling over uncovered food, employees constantly tucking their hair back while wearing gloves, and then it not changing them out. Witnessed an employee digging in her ear, over the omelet toppings and flicking her finger afterwards. Disgusting. The manager, although took some money off the bill which was appreciated but not necessary, seemed less than concerned or apologetic over what we witnessed.
Comfortable, excellent service and delicious food! A great night out.
Service was exceptional!
Food was outstanding!!!
Charlie, our waiter, was phenomenal! Great suggestions on wine and food.
Good food, had to hunt for service
Someone was working on exit door by our table. Door was opened during the work.
The table was need of replacement, very worn and over used.
Managers on duty was rude.
Very enjoyable time with a friend for lunch. Great service and a very good lunch. I really like the atmosphere, pleasant and homey. Will be going again soon.
Granite City consistently has good food and drinks.
The ambiance was fine, the service was good, but the food left a lot to be desired!
My husband ordered the Octoberfest pork sandwich, and it was so tough he could hardly eat it. It also had some tasteless sauce on it.
I ordered the grilled cheese with avocado, onions and tomatoes. Where to begin...I ordered the 1/2 sandwich and it had an entire 1/2 avocado on it (took most off), it was overloaded with cheese, and because the sandwich was cold, the cheese had congealed into two hard lumps. Plus the bread was hard. It tasted like something left over from hours earlier.
Needless to say, I won’t be going back!
We have been long time customers of Granite City. We have always enjoyed our meals and the service. Would highly recommend it and it is also easy to make reservations.
All you can eat fish fry was terrible. Brought three small pieces of fish. I ordered more and got two pieces. Ordered another serving and the order never made it. We asked for the check and left
We were placed in the back atrium with families with small children and an entire sports team. The noise was too loud for our liking!
We were quite dissatisfied with the service. We had reservations and waited 10 minutes for a person before us ordering at the check in podium while another receptionist was just standing there, another patron was waiting for a takeout order and was told that it takes longer because the kitchen was busy but when she walked to the kitchen the food was already ready, then waited another 10 minutes to be seated despite them not being very busy and open tables, then wrong items were delivered to our table, and lastly the manager for the day went to every table except ours. The food was pretty standard for Granite City, but the service was horrendous. We won’t be back anytime soon.
Service was great and the pot roast was excellent. Highly recommend
Food was great. Beers were just ok. Great service
It was my wife's birthday and everything was perfect. Our server was awesome and the food was great. Th Birthday dessert was a perfect ending diner out.
We couldn’t help but notice that several of the kitchen staff were not wearing a mask. Others were wearing their mask below their nose/chin. When I approached the manager to ask about this, his response was “We’re doing the best we can. It’s just not comfortable,” (no questioning of my concern and no apology offered). I will never again patronize an establishment that so blatantly violates the law and that has such disregard for the safety of their patrons!
Our favorite neighborhood restaurant. We enjoyed the outdoor patio, great food & brew
They were ready when we arrived. Service was great and food was very good.
Food was cold and mediocre at best.
The food was awesome, environment was great. There was an older couple that was there having a nice dinner when towards the end our server came up to my wife and said the elder couple had bought both of us each a dessert. I thought it was so sweet of them to do that
Overall, wait time was very long. I was seated right away, my friend arrived at 12:40pm. We finally got our food at about 1:35/1:40pm then I found hair in my food. :(
Realized our server was busting her butt off at the bar, no wonder it felt like a century to get help. Asked for a new plate. Manager came and apologized, offered me soup or salad. Food was good, just the time there was really long. I was late for my appointment due to this.
This was a very fun and relaxing time. We hadn't been there for awhile, which made it even more so.
Excellent Starters menu. Will be back just for that!
The food was delicious. The servers attentive and friendly.
DEfinitely enjoyed going to Granite City. Great specials and outdoor seating!
We dined on the patio, which was very nice, quiet and shady. Our food was great and our server was very attentive and efficient. We will definitely be back.
Food was ok. Even with COVID requiring social distancing (max 50% capacity) Service was horrible. I will never return or recommend.
We only get to Granite City a few times a year but it’s great every time. Good food, good service, and a relaxed atmosphere.
Food was great. No wait with our reservation. Table was sticky but service was great and so friendly. Food came quickly and it was delicious! And no hassle when I needed a substitution because of diet restrictions.
Fantastic outdoor patio, food and even live music!
Our local go-to restaurant with great food & craft beers
This has become a regular place for us. Service is normally spot on but wasn’t the best tonight. Was not bad, just not great. Waitress seemed a little flustered. Food was pretty good. Flavor of buffalo chicken sandwich was good but very spicy. Idaho nachos were amazing. Fries were extremely salty/overseasoned. I was not impressed with the bison burger at all. Very greasy and cooked too much! I didn’t complain because it wasn’t worth it. Will not get that again! Maple bacon flatbread was good. Overall, still a good choice but hope next time is better.
Very good meal and attentive service! I went for lunch with a family member and used my Mug Club birthday reward, good towards an appetizer, on a flatbread. It was an enjoyable day to sit on the patio. I love Granite City in Eagan, always an excellent dining choice!
Always a great place to stop!
