With its warm, inviting, and modern design, Granite City Food & Brewery’s expansive interior features a spacious and comfortable dining room, four-sided modern, full-service bar, as well as an outdoor patio. The on-site brewery, with award-winning hand-crafted micro-brews, is visible from the main dining and bar areas. The restaurant also showcases an open kitchen featuring chef developed, handcrafted made-from-scratch cuisine, including innovative signature entrees, flatbreads and more.

    I was not happy with the service, we have been going there for a few years now for Fathers Day brunch and won’t be going back again. My daughter and I were almost done with our first plate before the waitress came over and asked what we’d like to drink (water) then it took another 10 minutes before she came back with them. Food was good but they charged adult price for my 12 year old daughter which I thought was just awful to assume she was older and not ask her age.

    We had a party of 12 people including adults and kids. We were sat at two separate tables that were next to each other. Everything felt disconnected. Our server was less than present. We had to flag her down multiple times for refills. Dirty plates remained on our tables the entirety of visit. The food overall was okay, but definitely didn't feel like it was worth the amount of money charged for the meal.

    Went for a family dinner. First time for 3 of us (5 total). Food was decent and reasonably priced. They have daily specials and happy hour. Happy hour is 3 to 6. Service could have been a bit better. Had to ask for refills, otherwise not offered. Two people ordered cocktails. Our waitress brought them. A few minutes later, another person brought the same drinks, we say we already have them. She looks confused and says, she already brought them, you guys want them? The two who ordered said, I guess. She put them on the table and walked away. We were confused and trying to figure out does this mean on the house or getting charged for additional drinks? Our waitress comes back a few minutes later and sees the extra drinks and says they were delivered to the wrong table. She then takes them and puts them on the bar top. I certainly hope they didn't serve to the correct table, because one of the drinks had been drank out of. Was just sort of odd. Overall good experience and will return. We live out of town so won't be our regular go to place.

    Excellent group experience. Came in with our teen's large soccer team for dinner and the staff were pros at handling individual checks with parents and kids at separate table no less. So seamless and positive was the experience that we came in the next day w/o a reservation for a similar sized lunch and they rocked it again. Would visit again next time we are the Quad City area.

    All four of us were happy with out choices. Food was good. Service was prompt, friendly, and not overbearing.

    They really need a makeover. some of benches in the booths are fully cracked open. Needs an update bad. They were totally overwhelmed for Mother's Day crowd. Our waitress did do a good job.

    Food was cold with marginal flavor at best. The service line was through the dinning room - Not great to have people standing over you while eating. I asked to see if the line could be redirected to the ramp (which it has been several times for past brunch) and no attempt to reroute was made.

I know the service line going into the dining area isn't ideal, but we like to keep the ramp free for those unable to use the stairs.
