Granite City Meatloaf
this classic appeared on our first menu in 1999! hand-made meatloaf layered with garlic mashed potatoes, petite green beans, garlic toasted baguette, our famous savory bourbon onion sauce and topped with crispy onion strings
Food was great tonight. Menu finally has some good/better items.
Too many tables for our waitress, my wifes omelette was not right, my eggs benedict was cold. Just not thier business model for a brunch buffet that you have to request certain things. Def not worth the $46 for 2 ppl.
We were so disappointed we took our daughter to lunch and were so embarrassed by the service.. Our waitress was terrible we had to track her down attitude was poor. We waited 45 plus minutes for nachos and a house salad. My husband was done eating by the time we got our food. We won't return. Did not enjoy at all. Not worth the price.
Took a while for someone to come to our table and was not impressed with the brunch wish I wld have ordered food. A lot of ppl have raved about the brunch so thought I wld try it. Have not had good luck with service at the Davenport location I fact the main reason we went this time is cause we received a $15 gift card for the poor service last time we went. Don’t know that we will go back again.
Except for the hostess following policy and taking our temperatures, it was a very good dining experience.
The brunch was not good at all. We’ve eaten here before for brunch and really enjoyed it but this time the food was cold, salty, and the prime rib was unbelievably fatty.
Great birthday lunch with friends. Patio was very nice and server was very friendly and attentive. The Asian chicken salad is always good.
Sunday fathers day buffet horrible..service was awful..food was worse.
My family and I went for a Fathers Day Brunch. The price was 23.99 per person. They are now doing family style which os to be expected. What was not expected was ordering omlettes, sandwiches, and doughnuts at 11am only to be told at 12:30 they were no longer taking orders. So we paid full price for half of the food they advertised. With tip our bill was almost 160.00. We will not be returning.
Comparable to a Chili’s type of restaurant. Did have an excellent beer selection.
Anniversary dinner was great ♥️
We had chosen Granite City to celebrate our 52nd Wedding Anniversary. Excellent choice made even better by our server Anna! She was attentive to all of our needs , but most of all we liked her light hearted humor.
Next visit we’ll certainly look for Anna !
Our first lunch in an actual restaurant since March. The staff was amazing and did a great job, sanitizing and distancing. We felt very comfortable going there.
We had a wonderful experience! Our family loves to celebrate special occasions at Granite City!! Today we celebrated the adoption of our 2 little boys!! Our waitress and the manager were awesome!! Can't wait to be back!!
We first tried to get into another restaurant but the wait was 1.5 hours. I quickly hopped on open table and made a reservation at Granite City and we headed across town. As always, it was a great experience! Food was good, staff was friendly and fun. There was a mix-up with our table and another and it actually made the night more fun! My family has a mostly plant based diet so we tried the beyond burgers and they were so much better than I expected!!! Can't wait to try the Buddah bowl next time!!
Amanda is the best server and will make sure your drink is never empty. She knows the menu and is super friendly. Food is great. They have what I would say is the 3rd best ribeye in town. Will continue to go over and over.
We enjoyed our meals and Katie was a great waitress. She checked on how we thought the entrees looked and then later on how they tasted. We both had salmon, but one of each of two different types. Both were very well prepared.
Food was very good, well designed and executed despite the later hour. Had a party of 5 and a 10 pm reservation. All left happy including the vegetarian.
We never get to go out, we have two kids and it just doesn’t happen very often. We were so happy to be able to go out and enjoy an amazing meal, everything was perfect.
I only had one beer here so I need to sample more before reporting on that, but the FOOD was GREAT! The artichoke dip appetizer was the best we'd ever had and serving it with lavosh pieces was a nice diversion from the usual tortilla chips. My ribeye steak was cut, cooked, and seasoned perfectly, and the "house salad" I got as a side was not your typical house salad. I'm used to "house salad" meaning iceberg lettuce with some carrot shavings and a cherry tomato, but Granite City's was a lovely concoction with grape tomatoes, bleu cheese crumbles, candied pecans, and much more. I'm definitely coming back!
Every bit of our food was bad. We had to send one entree back 2 times and it still was served cold
We ordered a buffalo wrap that had a dripping cup of ranch barely filled 1/2 way. The wrap was the size for a small child to eat and there was about a handful of chips just thrown on the large plate. The manager gave us a gift card for the inconvenience and took off one entree because of it being cold. 2 of us ended up extremely ill later in the evening from the food
Might have just been the night, but the service was not that good, food was ok. We went New Years Eve, and it was our first time there. Was just not impressed.
New Year’s Eve
Too much fat on my steak otherwise good
Food was great! Our server Troy was absolutely amazing! Definitely a multi-tasker! Always appreciate great service and the fact that Troy had a smile on his face the entire service....even though it was Christmas Eve!
Worst food we’ve ever had at the Davenport location. Lots of empty tables and now we understand. Guacamole was warm, service was slow, hair wrapped in the napkin with the supposedly clean silverware. Not sure we will ever go back!
We enjoy this restaurant and generally the taste of the food is very good. The menu has changed over the years but remains diverse.
We came to Granite City for the Thanksgiving meal. It is a clean restaurant. The food was average. We expected better for the price. They had two dessert choices, pumpkin or pecan pie. We were there at one and they were already out of the pecan pie. We were really dissappointed as one in our party could not have pumpkin pie. Since reservations were required they should have been prepared. We were not offered anything else as a replacement or a discount on our bill. We will not be going back.
All the food came out lukewarm, it was so disappointing. My salmon was cold and overcooked when it came to the table. My husband ordered the turkey and the pot roast didn't eat the pot roast, potatoes or the stuffing that came on his plate. The pecan pie was the only thing that was amazing. The price was outrageous!
Great microbrews from onsite "mini brewery." Can buy and refill growlers. Service was outstanding. Steaks are great, albeit a bit pricey. Menu has a lot to choose from. Sides with steak and my Sons' cheeseburger (he said was better than Red Robins) seemed a bit small, but my ribeye was the size of my face (HUGE). Happy hour was $3 pints of fresh brew which was excellent (We both had The Duke, and IPA with a high IBU). Overall would go again, not too loud despite close to busy time and the bar area seemed nice. Would have preferred that the TV's not be so loud over the dining area (we sat at a booth just off of the end of the bar), but was able to have a conversation with my Son.
Horrible food and service took forever!!! It wasn’t busy and we couldn’t get a drink or water quickly. I got the wrong order, ended up eating a few bites because the steak was terrible.
The food was amazing! Beer was good too, as always!
Took my girlfriend here for her birthday as she had never been before (neither had I). Neither of us are craft beer drinkers so we went for the food as I had heard good things. Food was OK but nothing special to either of us. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice, but not impressed by the food at all.
Amazing food, incredible service. Always a pleasure to dine here.
We had fish tacos and they were terrible, but our brussel sprouts were awesome. Manager very accommodating and took 1 order of tacos(of 2) off bill. We froze the whole time because everywhere you sit, you're under an air vent. Wait staff very efficient.
Server was prompt and polite, and the food was prepared to perfection!
Dustin our server was great! Very energetic and knowledgeable of the menu!
This was my first time here and the service was excellent the food amazing and I will definitely recommend to everyone and be back many more times.
Steak on my salad was chewy!!! Ordered a sampler of beers and only 2 of the 4 beers were cold. My husband and son liked the meatloaf.
An average chain restaurant with ok food. Nothing worth going out of your way.
