Granite City Food & Brewery - Davenport
Signature GCFB beers are brewed onsite, including: the Northern Lager, the Bennie German Bock, the Broad Axe Oatmeal Stout, and Duke Pale Ale, are complemented by a rotating selection of seasonal and specialty brews.
The food was excellent however we got 3 rolls for two of us. I feel maybe 4 would have made more sense. Also the appropriate silverware was not given with the meal. We had to ask for spoons for the meal and also forks when our desert came.
$30 a person was a bit pricey but I would pay that again as, like I stated above, the food was excellent!
The food and the service were both excellent!!! My friends and I both enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend the turkey burger and the bbq chicken flatbread.

The Brussel sprouts are amazing 👏 🤤
Make reservations for a more private dining experience. Brunch buffet was super lit. Had all the goods
Our appetizers took over 30 minutes to come out. Our server only offered to refill alcohol drinks and had to be asked for waters and kid drinks. We ordered soups to come out with the appetizers we got them with the meal. She took our cards to pay and came back 20minutes later.
The server tried taking the appetizers plates before we were done and half our food came out while we waited for the other half . Which included kids food. (I don't eat if my kids do not have food and so I ate cold food as theirs took another 15 minutes).
We had a reservation for 7 and we got 5 menus and silverware. We asked for 2 more sets of silverware numerous times and had to go get them from the front when our food actually got there so we could all eat.
Standard burger and fries. The Idaho Nachos were delicious. Flatbread pizza was delicious.
Service was outstanding.
The atmosphere in the middle of the seating area gets dark, recommend seating near the windows if you love light.

We took advantage of the Veterans Day offer. We had a very nice server. But we could tell that the restaurant was severely understaffed. The employees that were there were working their butts off.
The food was over done and cold. It took forever to get our drinks. The waitress gave us the wrong menu, not the Vet's Day menu. We talked to the manager on duty
and she stated she would take something off our bill. When we got the bill nothing was taken off so we send the bill back to the manager. When she came back she took $3.50 off a $30.00 bill called Vet/Police discount. I paid the bill and left and went someone else to have lunch. I feel we were treated very poorly!
We do have reservations for Thanksgiving because we had good luck at Easter 2021!
Stayed at the Hampton Inn next door while on a road trip . Walked to the restaurant and enjoyed the drinks and food and ambience
Thanks for the review! We hope to see you again soon.
We were even sitting next to two long tables put together and the place was nice. Prime rib way over cooked and tasted dry. The red heat lamp made the rib look better than it was. Horse radish was weak at best. Ordered different horse radish and she came back with the same. We enjoyed our specialty drinks. We may try again some time. Not yet able to make a recommendation at this point to others. I need to find what makes Granite City food special. Doors are very heavy for disabled persons in wheel chairs. Customers had to help open doors.
Very good service .A bit noisy due large group. Otherwise very good.

Had the brunch with 3 others and really enjoyed it. Always made sure we had plenty of juice and champagne. Server was very pleasant and took great care of us
Susan - Glad to hear it! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience.
Very clean establishment. The waiter was extremely helpful, and gave us great advice on what to order. The seasonal October fest that is brewed there was excellent as well.
William - Glad to hear it! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience.
All good, think though the thin tortilla chips get too soggy so fast in the nachos.
Reggiano Hashbrowns were amazing! Awesome brunch with great service
It was ten minutes before our waitress took our order. It was another five minutes before I was served my beer. After forty minutes we still had not received our food. we called the waitress over and asked why we still hadn't received our salads. She told us the "All You Can Eat" special did not include salads, although it was clearly stated in the ad. At that point, we called for a manager, explained what had happened, and we left the restaurant.
The brunch selection was great, food taste was great, service was horrible. I wish I could remember her name just so you can avoid her. If we would have had someone else im sure it would have been the best experience ever.
Food was good. Service was good.
Very friendly wait staff. Very good food but took a little longer than expected. A lot of choices on the menu.
Very nice waitress and the food was very good… As always
Good food and service!
Great service, food was very good. It was noisy due to a party of 30 seated next to us- baseball team and parents. Overall everything was good.
Was not busy on a Friday night so service was prompt. We ordered Brussel sprouts off of appetizer menu without bacon. It came with bacon but was quickly replaced. They were a bit too crispy but balsamic glaze was delicious. Salmon portion was on the small side for the price but it was cooked well.
Food and service
Special thanks to wait staff Willow, who was exceptionally friendly, and provided very professional service.
Great brunch and service Would recommend this brunch to everyone
We had a great time. We choose to sit in the bar area. Our server was so polite and friendly, you could tell she loved her job. She took our order and came back several times during our visit. The food was excellent, it was a great experience.
Best customer service ever! The staff was extremely nice & accommodating to our large group!
Our waitress was attentive and fun to talk with. I ordered the grilled cheese with everything on the side except the cheese in it came out very gooey and cheesy which I absolutely love! Thank you.
Granite City offers great food and beverages. The Lawless Brunch we enjoyed on Mother's Day was great. Endless Mimosa and large bloody Mary was enjoyed. Our group of 6 ranged from age 71 down to 6 and we all had a great time. Alas; no donut station.
Absolute great brunch buffet and great service! My only issue it....it does not need to be $29 a person. We had a great time, but $200 bill for a brunch is a bit excessive. Regardless....I'll be back!
I will never be returning to the restaurant because the services and food was horrible. Food was cold and the waitress wasn’t not helpful at all. Even though there was two people waiting on us!!!!
Waited 20 minutes for a server, couple sat at table behind us and were immediately servers. We told them if this is how they we're going to treat us we would take our business elsewhere.
Our waitress did a great job. However, both of us had freezing cold fries with our burgers that we ordered. Our waitress did get us fresh ones. My burger wasn’t cooked the correct way and then I couldn’t even eat all of it because of the burnt parts on the outside. Such a bummer. The saving grace was the dessert with the skillet cookie. Definitely get it and share with your table. Also, ask for a table or a booth that doesn’t move when someone on the other side moves. We were glad we didn’t bring our whole family for our first time trying it. Oh, and the manager that was bringing all of the food to the tables never had his mask on correctly the whole hour we were there.
The sirloin blue cheese salad was one of the best salad's I have had in a really long time! Cheers to the chef!
Thought the food was poor. Waited for 30 minutes for a omelet. Food was cold and no option for non meat eaters. Waste of money . Felt for the amount would have been a wider selection of choices. Will not return.
Easter brunch was not that great. Ran out of prime rib, omelets were burnt, eggs benedict had a muffin you could barely cut into, and they ran out of apple cinnamon scones. We were there at 1:30.
Easter brunch. They were either under staffed or focused on covid too much. They used staff to walk buffet line instead of customers. Had to wait ~15 minutes for a single slice of prime rib to be delivered, where I could have walked up and back in under a minute (then it was over cooked and cold). Bummer!
