Granite City Food & Brewery - Davenport
Signature GCFB beers are brewed onsite, including: the Batch 1000 Double IPA, the Bennie German Bock, the Broad Axe Oatmeal Stout, Duke Pale Ale, and the Prairie Vixen Hefeweizen, are complemented by a rotating selection of seasonal and specialty brews.
An average chain restaurant with ok food. Nothing worth going out of your way.
Brunch is always great. Our server was amazing. He kept our coffee full, and was very kind.
Hostess was very unprofessional. Did not accommodate guest to their preferences. Lied to my face. Made excuses and then dissapeared for the remainder of our time there. Will never visit the Davenport granite city location again. Horrible guest services.
All ordered salads which are always quite tasty. Person who ordered meatloaf said it was just okay. Wouldn’t order it again.
So disappointing. Used to be a favorite but has gone so downhill. Food is mediocre at best and service is slow.
Awesome services always a delight to go to eat at.
Always a good place to go with out of town company
First time dining there. Enjoyed it. Will be back!
This was the second Birthday event in which we came to this restaurant for a Beyond Burger. Both times they were out of them. Last time we will do that.
Awesome brunch!! The food and atmosphere were great. We will be back!!
Our table was ready early we were seated and drinks brought promptly, it was a pleasant atmosphere, the food was delicious and the price fair but there was a slightly extended wait. The staff was friendly and polite.
Excellent food and the service was wonderful. The hostess who seated us needs retrained. Additionally I received notification from Open Table that we were a no show for our reservation which is inaccurate. I called the restaurant and talked to a manager regarding both of these issues.
I had a special request and they had no issues with it. The sandwich i had Turkey Overlake with no bun was delicious.
Always the best. Made a reservation and was seated once we arrive. Service was great and food was excellent.
We like Granite City. Good food. Lots of variety. Great beer. Now that we can use open table, we love it.
Our waiter was the best!! He was very friendly & was attentive to our needs. He went above and beyond & my daughter a bowl of fresh strawberries since the ones on the buffet weren’t the best. He deserves a raise & additional vacation!!
Food was not the same quality as we have had in the past. Hard to pay $44 for mediocre food!!
Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that there were so many booths at this restaurant, or I would have specifically requested a table with chairs for brunch with my elderly parents and in-laws. Additionally, the floor is extremely slippery. It’s completely unsafe.
Never understand why their flooring (stone tile) is slimy/slick. The kid’s meals keep getting more expensive and less food. Food was good. Salad was nice size and requests were carried out. Service was good.
I made a reservation online. Once we arrived we were seated in about 2 minutes - and the entry area was packed! Our server was very informative and attentive. My blueberry long island was very good. Everyone in our party said the food was delicious. Great Mother's Day meal with my family. Thanks Granite City!
The Sunday brunch is absolutely amazing! I'm glad we arrived as soon as they opened.
Interesting evening with lots of teenagers in formal gowns and tuxedos populating the restaurant, presumably as the first stage in prom night festivities. Perhaps this was why the wait staff seemed just a bit rushed and harried. I liked my meat loaf very much, my dining mates felt their meals were good, but none were outstanding. I am also still a fan of their beer selections, though the seasonal amber is the best and was not an option this weekend.
We had a great dinner experience this weekend. Great food and service!
Very disappointed. We were seated in the bar, which was very loud. I noticed the dining room had several tables open.
Had the funkey monkey cocktail. A little too pricey for me ($8), but so good. tastes like strawberry lemonade. the steak salad was one of the best salads I have ever had, the horseradish was awesome in it.
Our server Erica was quite a delight. Knew the menu well, and served us with a smile. She also introduced me to Granite City dip ... I’m now obsessed! Thanks! Hope we have you as a server next time as well.
Granite City Brewery is good, but not great. They were out of 3 beers that were on the menu and we wanted to try--kept picking one and being told "nope" they were out of that. That was disappointing. I can understand 1, but 3? Come on. Food was good, but not out of this world. Good thing it's not that expensive. If you want good standard fare, it works.
The food is good but the Service was excessively slow. It took nearly 20 minutes to get a beer and about the same time to be able to pay the cashier. 6:30 reservation and we were sat upon arrival however it was after 8 when our table of six was finished.
Dinner experience was mostly good. We had the fish and chips. The frys came out cold but the waitress was happy with replacing them. The fish was great, and hot. The coleslaw on the plate sits under the warmer with the rest of the plate once the food is done so no one at that as it was UGH. Brand new waitress but she admitted it and we were ok with it, we all start new at some job sometime. Overall very good
My friends and I arrived at 6 PM on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy but we were given a comfortable table without any problems. Our waitress was accommodating to our inability to choose quickly between the items on the excellent menu. We greatly appreciated the stacked onion rings because they were cooked perfectly, the onion did not slip out of batter. Flatbread pizza was our favorite along with the pasta and asparagus. We are looking forward to coming back.
I had the prime rib sandwich. It was mediocre. Not much flavor and some gristle. The Duke IPA was pretty good. Server goofed up my order.
The only thing good about Friday was our waiter. I think his name was Dustin. He was very friendly
and outgoing. The food was not good compared to other times I have been to Granite City. We were
stuck in the back room as the place was packed. A man was in trying to get tv's to work. It was just
a weird environment.
First time we had been to Granite City and I don't this we will ever return. The food was over priced for the quality and the drinks came out 20+ minutes after we had ordered them. I know it can get busy and hectic, but when the table next to you orders the same drink 10 minutes after you did and they got theirs quickly, than it's a bit disappointing and not to mention for the price I paid. The server was great and very attentive!
Amanda is always awesome! Shes very nice and just a great server, I look forward to having her as a server.
Good food and Haley took very good care of us. We will come back.
The place is a little pricey, but if you go when they are having a special , it is great. The food is delicious and the brews are as well. Great place.
Good food. Great service! Hadn't been here in a long time & it was better than I remembered
Had a reservation for 6:30, yet was made to stand and wait for a table for 15 minutes. They put us at a table surrounded by two large groups and an air vent blowing out cold air. We were forced to sit with our coats on. When our food finally arrived we asked for boxes to go because we couldn’t take the noise or cold any longer. The waitress seemed bent out of shape because of it. Like it was our fault. This isn’t our first bad experience here, but we decided to try again. We will never return.
Love this place! Food is always delicious and service is great.
It was very nice and the experience was great once again. Waiter was awesome and food delicious.
