We ////our server was informative and helpful. we had s great salmon salad with citrus dressing and a jumbo pretzel.
Good food, okay service.
Prompt service. Kept our glasses of tea full.
Bad experience as service was slow and waitress inattentive. Took 1/2 to get a beverage and were finally told the bar was backed up
However very few diners were even in the place at 7:00 on a Saturday night. When items weren’t delivered correctly took very long to get attention of waitress again. After the 2nd request went back to kitchen area to find someone. Meat not cooked to specifications. Thankfully it was returned to kitchen and fixed and manager took it entirely off bill which was nice. Way too long 2 hrs to have a meal of burger, salad for 4.
Sirens was warm, welcoming, and professional. The food was good, but unremarkable. We understand the Sunday Brunch is the best, but we have not tried yet. We will.
Lunch specials are good
Service was great
There were 6 of us-we let the server know we were on a time crunch and he did an awesome job getting us taken care of!
We love brunch at Granite City! A lot of our family holiday celebrations are spent here. Food is incredible and there’s something for everyone.
Awesome, we kicking off our honeymoon back to the first date we ever took and they were so awesome, and even let us sit in the same exact booth where it all began!
I would recommend Granite City for dinner but definitely don't waste your money on Sunday brunch. I have had better brunch options at much cheaper places. Lydia at the bar always makes our visit special so we will be back but only for dinner!
Thanks! Great price for the Sunday brunch! Fruit was great! Many choices of food to choose from.
The AHI Tuna was way overcooked (well done vs. pan seared). Other food served to fellow diners was very good.
We enjoyed our first trip to Granite City. The food was delicious and the beer was quite tasty (could have been colder). Thg he only mild complaint that we had was, it wasnt exactly cool inside. It however, was very hot outside that day. Overall we had a great dinner, we were just a little warm.
Tables were sticky and ants were on them. Like the food, but that isn’t acceptable.
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! The manager, Eric Curry, personally had a carry-out sandwich prepared for my disabled husband. Although Granite City Restaurant was very busy, Mr Curry asked how I wanted the sandwich to be specifically created. I definitely will tell my friends and family about the wonderful customer service. I will definitely continue to go to Granite City. Hopefully my husband will be able to accompany me!
We had reservations for 6 on 7/3, after the dinner rush at 7:15. Server was ok but we were dining with 3 kids and didn’t get our food for an hour. Food was just ok. I’d been there before and was disappointed.
My son and I ordered two different steaks both medium. His was cooked perfectly, mine a little well done. Tasted good, potatoes were also very good.
Food and beer were excellent. Our server had great recommendations and was very attentive. Portions are HUGE, so share! Beer flight was a great size and beer is delicious. Very smooth IPAs. The only suggestion is whatever they clean the tables with feels sticky, may want to try something new there .
Food took a long time to come out.
Salad was delicious.
Had great service and the food is always good. We had a party of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meal.
Had dinner in the bar - it was delicious. Great service. Nice and quiet even in a Saturday night!
Coco Loco chicken sandwich was great and so was the coconut and macadamia bread pudding.
I did see a guy doing card tricks at a table, which I thought was a bit odd and cards on the ceiling but he didn’t bother me so dinner was great.
We have been to Granite City many times. The food and service did not seem up to our past visits.
Memorial Day it was delightfully quiet so my daughter and I could chat and catch up while enjoying good food.
The food was delicious but the service was poor.
Family birthday. Long wait to be seated even with a reservation. Long time to order drinks and to receive them.
While there were many tables occupied, it was not the case that every table was filled, so it did not seem 'overcrowded' or 'jammed'. The food was delicious, as expected, meeting the menu's descriptions and the service was acceptable, being a busy time.
Staff overwhelmed .empty tables .yet waiting area full . normally love granite city we will be going to the one at circle center mall
We had reservations for Mother’s Day, and expected it to be busy so we arrived 15 minutes early, but the host station was chaotic. Three other parties of similar number with reservations for the same time that arrived after us were seated first, even though we had checked in early. The server was nice and as attentive as she could be given she looked to be working two sections. Honestly the best part was the magician that came around to the tables to entertain the kids while we waited for our food.
The cooked to order was terribly backed up which caused the other food to get cold before actually getting back to the table to eat. The buffet line was hard to maneuver around and food was spilled on the floor making it difficult not to fall. Too crowded and poorly staffed.
We went for Mother’s day brunch, we had reservations and still had to wait 20 min. Buffet line was extremely long, food was horrible, service slow.
Out of 6 meals, 2 were good, 1 was acceptable, 3 were poor. Table was sticky. Floor was sticky. Booth overall felt dirty.
Our server did zero refills until we paid for check. She was very short and and rather snappy with us. Food is overpriced. Overall not pleased.
Derick was our server and he was great! Atmosphere was nice and cozy! Already told friends and family about it and we will definitely be back
The only thing that I can say negative is the sauce for the pasta was watery and our entree didn’t come with any salad or bread
We scheduled our dinner on April 27 and that happened to coincide with Prom Night. The entrance area was packed with patrons waiting for a table and because of that we were not seated for our 7pm reservation until 7:20pm. Food was good. I had the Asian Chicken Salad and my wife had the Steak Salad. I love this place for business lunches.
Great beer, great food & great staff!! Anytime we travel to a city that has a location we make sure to stop.
Food was ok but service was great. Mahi tacos were dry and fishy and even burger was dry.
Definitely a great Brunch Buffet. Fresh and plenty to choose.
I'd recommend making a reservation before coming out for Saturday brunch! Especially if it's nice enough outside of the patio. Fabulous views of the sculpture garden and Minneapolis skyline.
We ordered the hominy porridge (maitake mushrooms, poached eggs, and maple syrup), quiche, and roasted veggies. Everything was delicious and you could tell would cooked with a generous helping of butter, but not overly rich.
Our servers favorite was the hominy porridge. She shared it might be coming off the menu soon because the mushrooms will be out of season soon, so get it while you can!!!
