Can’t wait to return
Nice neighborhood family restaurant. Good food and good value.
Went for Sunday brunch buffet and it was great!
Enjoyed the food and the company. The chef even came out and talked to us, question about allergies. The waitress, however was very slow, and wasn’t very knowledgeable about much of anything. She seemed aggravated at the fact that I had questions. Also, she didn’t take the time to even tidy up her area. I wasn’t very happy about eating around dirty tables.
The menu is very extensive and the quality of the food is amazing. I had the cauliflower rice and it was tasty and well seasoned. Their low cal varieties are very tasty and worth the money. I have had their lunch combinations which are also very varied and good. Our server, Serena, was amazing...!
Nice atmosphere and great service. The food wasn't spectacular, but it was good and was nicely presented.
Our server Derek was very nice and helpful. Top notch guy!
Restaurant was VERY loud and very busy on a Friday night. At least 3 tables were unbussed during our entire meal. Our server was very nice, but was extremely busy. I ordered a burger and asked for medium well, but it was pink inside. I didn’t say anything because they were so busy, and I was very hungry. It was fine...not the best I’ve ever had, but fine. My 12 year old ordered bbq wings and really liked them. All and all, I would go back, but maybe on a week night versus a busy weekend.
Nice brunch for the price. The room is a little too crowded and difficult to get around in, and the wait, even with reservations, longer than I would have liked, but the food was good, and it was a good value overall. May have been understaffed as tables sat open for quite a while before they were filled, even when the waiting area was overflowing.
This is her first time we went to the Sunday brunch was very pleased with everything the presentation and layout was fine didn't never seem to be overcrowded everything was fresh fruits were very good enjoyed our experience will be back again.
We attended Granite City in Carmel for Sunday brunch. Upon entering the restaurant, the hostess seemed very stressed and unorganized. We weren't greeted as her head was down looking at the computer. When she looked up a few minutes later, she asked how she could help. Then the phone rang and she answered the phone instead of helping me. At any rate, we had a reservation through open table, but that didn't seem to matter. She checked us in and said we would be seated when a table became available. We waited about 30 minutes to be seated which is ridiculous. There were just a few people waiting in the lobby and it was at 11:15am. There were about 6-8 tables that were open in the restaurant while we stood waiting in the lobby. Our server was average. She didn't ask if we wanted to see menus. I guess she assumed we were doing the buffet. The buffet selection was large and the food was really good. I would definitely go again and just hope that the hostess will be having a better job or if she doesn't like her job, then I hope she finds something that she does like.
I asked for melted butter to with my cinnamon roll, waitress got it cheerfully.
Everything was awesome.
Overall it was a great experience!
They seemed short staffed...the food wasn’t great. We won’t come back
Food was dry and cold. Worst food ever! Manager wanted to “discount” our meals even though we sent them back uneaten other than a couple of bites to taste. Refused to pay for food and was handed a bill for the 2 glasses of wine Managers attitudecwas awful...excuse was they were busy. Unless you’re looking for the giant pretzel, find another place
I’m scoring them higher than our experience. To start with, our reserved time and table wasn’t met until 25 minutes after the reservation time. Once we were seated it took 15 minutes to get my drink and I had to ask for my wife’s drink 10 minutes later because it didn’t arrive with mine. My food was served Luke warm after waiting 45 minutes subsequent to order and my wife’s food was not served as ordered when it came. She said they’d have the manager redo her order and when it finally arrived it was missing 2 of the primary ingredients (chicken and Parmesan bread). Our dining experience lasted over 2 and a half hours.
Sunday brunch was fantastic!
Salmon was a little burnt on ends and rice that can with salmon was cold
We always enjoy this spot- food awesome as well as atmosphere - nice servers too
We had to wait more than 15 min. pass our reservation time.
Lots of food for the price, but nothing really special except the appetizers.
We had reservations and still waited nearly 20 minutes to be seated. Others walking in after seated before us.
Our brunch reservation was 1:00 they seated us at 1:30. The shrimp cocktail was gone the cinnamon rolls were gone at 2:00. The food was not hot they ran out of prime rib
Group of 6 went to Sunday branch buffet. I made a reservation for 1pm, but we could sit down table at 1:30pm. Although there were enough vacant tables to sit, it seems not enough staff to clean up and set up. Pastry was not fresh and disappointing, except cinnamon bread which was brought to the table. Prime ribs and pork were pretty tasty. There were neither shrimp cocktail nor egg benedict which are on the menu. The fruit was not replenished. This was my first time, so maybe early hours is different, however, judging from what I had, it is overpriced. Also, my personal opinion, I prefer to have some green vegetable choices since all are protein or curbs. All staff were friendly and attentive.
Went for brunch and all the food was too cold for my preference. I know it's hard to keep large quantities of food hot, but was still disappointed.
Buffet was always out of shrimp, line long so food was cold when you got back to your set. It was only warm in the buffet servers. Staff could not keep up with the tables. Reservations were not saved for those that called in for them the tables were given to walk ins. Food was just average at best. Would go again if a group suggested it but I try to go elsewhere. Went because it was devour downtown.
Ryan our server was on it! Great service from her!
The service was great, probably as good as possible. $10 mimosas for the table was fantastic. Food was a 4 out of 5 because there were no vegetables what so ever. A simple salad, or green beans and I would have given a 5 out of 5 stars. Devour Indy pricing was great. Not sure I would pay the regular price of $17.99 a person.
The server was great once we got our table. We were 15 minutes early for our reservation and waited 10 minutes in the bar to get a drink and there was not a bartender behind the bar. It was a little dark. Most of our food was warm not hot. The one person's steak was way over done.
First off they didn't even have the steak that they said they did and this was on a Saturday night at 6pm, how are u not going to have steak that early I mean come on. They tried to bring out main dishes before our appetizer was even there and then brought out wrong main dishes. Food was plain and didn't seem even like what we ordered.
Why is it next to impossible to make a reservation through open table at Granite city
We always enjoy Granite City!!
Granite City is reasonable, the noise level is low enough, you can have a conversation and the service is great.
We went for the Sunday Brunch. The food was good and the selection was good. I would recommend the Sunday Brunch, it was a good value.
Granite City was good place to meet friends. Could carry on conversation easily. Food was good.
We always enjoy Sunday brunch at Granite City. The food is amazing, the service always great,..this time we were able to bring along our sister in-law who was celebrating her birthday and she had an awesome time!
Food was very poor! It had a refrigerator taste. Thanks
Good food that is always consistent along with good beer
Very incordinated when I entered the restaurant and was being escorted to my table. I had reservations but nobody at the reception could not pull them up. Not a good start to my evening
Reservations for lunch (4 people) and service was slow from start to finish. Server seemed overworked with too many tables and too few staff.
