   We choose Grange Farm as a preferred occasional venue for our Friday evening meal out-rather than dining locally in the City Centre. (Choosing to pay around £16 to get to you by taxi) Ordinarily, we would have no complaints about the food. My partner ordered the Lamb Shank and for around the £20 price point, we felt the value for money was not up to Grange Farm’s usual standards. He had to prompt for vegetables as there were barely any served with the dish. I’d gone with a traditional Gammon and Eggs, and I also felt underwhelmed by it (even though it was at least £8 less), as we often dine in Greene King pubs and have had better. Needless to say, our waitress Jess was brilliant, bar staff were as attentive as they usually are and as the alcohol was flowing, the disappointing food didn’t ruin our night. Maybe chef could just re-look at the offering on both the dishes!

   I take an elderly lady friend out to lunch at The Grange once a month. She walks with a walker and finds access to the restaurant very good. Usually we have a table for two on the ground floor near the disabled toilet, but due to recent renovations this was not possible. Your staff apologised and showed us to a nice table further down the room. We both enjoyed our meal very much (Hunters Chicken, followed by Eton Mess and coffee). Your staff are excellent and we look forward to our next visit.

   Having dined at Grange Farm frequently over the past few years , we have found the food varies from excellent to fairly average. This we feel comes with menu change, the last two visits the food being one extreme to the other, however, we will still frequent the establishment because we like the locality and the ambiance and also the staff are always friendly and obliging

   We really enjoyed our night out. The food was lovely, hot and nicely displayed, attention to us was very pleasing, overall a great place to eat, meet friends and socialise.

   The worst dining experience we have had, I booked through open table, when we got to restaurant they did not have our booking, we were sat at table that vibrated badly when ever someone walked by which was constant, the corner where we sat was filthy food on the plug socket food up the walls filthy, my mothers day was ruined I'm not happy at all terrible experience from start to finish.

   Food was okay but nothing special. The location of our table wasn't particularly nice. It felt like it was in the entrance hall - quite draughty and away from the rest of the dining areas. The serving staff were very friendly and efficient.

   We enjoyed our visit to The Grange. We came with a friend and we were more than happy with everything. Lovely dining area . The waitresses were helpful and friendly and the food excellent. Will definately be going again.

    A good meal, service was quite slow, but we were catching up with each other so it wasn't a problem. Tuesday's at this time of year appear to be a quiet time.
