   Terrific brunch experience, from the clubby feel of the room to the top-notch bloody mary, shrimp and avocado tartine, beignets and crab cake eggs Benedict. The flavor profiles in the vegetable omelette weren’t our favorite- a bit too pea-forward- but that was a minor distraction from the otherwise delightful food. Our veteran waiter (and the support staff) really pushed things over the top. It’s such an added joy to have excellent and friendly service! We’ll go back soon!

   Delicious and special meal, attentive service, and we love the space (hotel architecture, high ceilings, artwork, arrangement of room). It was a busy night at Grange & downtown in general, but they had a full staff doing what they do very smoothly and without rushing us. It's our favorite restaurant in Sacramento.

   Outstanding food and service. We had a wonderful dining experience. However, the parking situation and traffic in front of the restaurant are horrible. We used valet parking which was badly backed up when we arrived, and it took an incredibly long period of time to get our vehicle back after dinner because of gridlock in the area.

    As always, the flavor combinations created by Chef Dane were superb. The depth of flavor, subtle spice and elegant texture of the Cream of Chicken and Mushroom soup demanded that we have a second bowl.

    I met a friend at the restaurant for a Friday brunch. She is a Sacramento native, and this is one of her favorite restaurants. I walked in, and immediately loved the space, especially because it looks so unassuming from the outside. It had this elegant, art-deco vibe, with high ceilings, a beautiful bar, and just an incredible space. The food, as my friend suggested, was incredible. We split our food so that we could try each other's dishes, had a bottle of champagne, and finished with the olive oil cake that was so delicious! I'd go back there in a heartbeat, to try more of their lunch and dinner menus, also! And it bears stating that our server, and the service she provided, were *outstanding*! Could not recommend Grange Bar & Restaurant more!

    We had a fabulous meal celebrating our anniversary. The halibut and smoked short ribs were incredible, absolutely delicious. Truly the highlight of the meal was the beet and citrus salad!! It was unbelievable!! The service was impeccable. The selection of wines was very impressive as well.

    It was a nice and intimate dinning experience for our family get together. My son visiting from school recommended this place and it was a hit we enjoyed everything. The food was fresh and full if flavor, really Farm to Fork experience.

    I loved my experience at the Grange. It is worthy of its Michelin rating. I had the Halibut with a brown butter Hollandaise sauce and asparagus that melted in my mouth. I would highly recommend this restaurant in the Citizens Hotel.

    The Grange restaurant is a great place to visit for brunch. The wonderful brunch menu and good food are definitely highlights, and it's always a plus when a restaurant serves excellent coffee and Irish coffee. The atmosphere is lovely as well, with beautiful high ceilings and floral decor. Friendly and knowledgeable staff really enhances the dining experience, so the team at The Grange are welcoming and helpful.     Arrived at my reservation time and there was no host up front to greet guests. I waited a few minutes by the empty station and then went over to ask the bartender if there was another entrance and desk where I needed to check in. The bartender was obviously irritated that I was there and told me that someone would eventually come to the front and see me waiting. I went back to the front and after another 15 minutes stated feeling anxious about time since I had an important meeting nearby in an hour. Someone did come finally and said that I could wait for them to clean some tables or sit in the bar area away from the other diners. I sat in the bar because she said there would be full service there and I was feeling rushed. I then waited 20 minutes with not even an offer of coffee, watching the dining area be served from a bar hightop. Meanwhile, the waiting area behind me started filling up with other potential diners and some were greeted while others were getting irritated and I could hear the restlessness in their tone. I decided to leave and grab something from a coffee shop on the way to my day's meetings. The lack of orchestration and execution was very frustrating and the overall vibe was unwelcoming. It was the first time in a long time that I've felt so out of place and disregarded at a nice restaurant.

    We had Easter brunch. The atmosphere was lovely, and so was the server. The first and main courses were very large but definitely lacking in selection for vegetarians. The food was fantastic though the dessert bar was just okay, and the items were dry. It was a little odd to have a salad served family style in the middle of the table at an odd time given the elevated level of food and atmosphere. Last, it was disappointing that the brunch cost of $85 per person did not include drinks at all, not even coffee, which cost $5! Overall, the experience was good.

    The food or perhaps chef seems to have changed substantially over the last 2 years. The vibe and ambiance are still great and the cocktails and wine list are great. But the food is lacking whereas it used to be tremendous. Now it is very bland.

    Birthday brunch with long time friends. Nice bday greeting card for birthday recipient. Good food and service. Would recommend and return. Observation: many homeless in area. Concerned about safety of vehicles parked on street. Will valet next time. Police and fire department personnel on street visible from dining area addressing two separate incidents.

    This is a Pop Up event by the Warren Group, not the regular Grange restaurant. The Tasting dinner was great. Enjoyed the food and the presentation. But the logistics needs huge improvement. It took 4 hrs to finish. The servers lost track of what to serve next. Had to remind them what we had and what else to be served. The cocktail pairing with the food was largely well except they were out of sync and had to be sent back so it won't become watered down. I would join again only if I can be assured the logistic issues have been resolved.

    6 of us Salads all amazing- especially the beet salad Halibut in celery root soup over cooked and soup was just warm not hot- flavors were delicious though Main courses lacking some flavor- particularly the steak which was slightly over done and had very little wine sauce served with it, for the 60+ dollars, which understandable in a good restaurant, would expect perfection and more than 3 carrots and 3 brussels on the side- the potato was best part of the steak dish Ahi good, but again lacking some flavor Spaghetti and shrimp was good but not great Server was nice, but flat and didn't check on us as often as would expect in such establishment all desserts good
