   We liked this place so much that we ate there a second time. Lunch is quieter than dinner which is very busy and service can understandably be slow. Friendly and welcoming staff, interesting menu with well cooked imaginatively presented Greek dishes. Quirky art and layout feels like being in someone’s home.

   Welcoming spot that prepares wonderful Greek food. We felt like we were in a small village instead of the heart of Athens. It sits back on a quiet street. All the food was delicious - best hummus we’ve ever had, kebab was amazing but too big for one person, lamb entree was tender and perfectly prepared, Greek salad was fresh and beautiful. Usually when servings are large the quality is not good but this restaurant was the exception. Wonderful flavors and generous portions. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

   Very quiet…. Only people in for most of our time. The meal was lovely and the free chocolate dessert was amazing, unexpected and very more ish!! Couldn’t understand why it was quiet… early season possibly? Well worth a visit.

   We wanted good modern Greek food Great flavours and knowledgeable local wine pairing I would recommend this to any foodie

   A bit pricey for Athens average price, whilst this restaurant doesn’t really resemble an upscale fine dining. Nevertheless, good food and good service in general.

   Clean, delicious, and authentic Greek food. The staff could not be nicer, and the entire café smelled like lilies. It was a great experience. I will go back every chance I get.

   Am Neujahrstag suchte ich ein Restaurant für vier Personen. Die Bewertungen waren sehr gut, also habe ich reserviert. Das Restaurant liegt etwas abseits des Touristentrubels. Der erste Eindruck war schon sehr gut, wir hatten einen großen Tisch mit einem großen Blumenstrauß auf dem Tisch. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Es kam ein kleiner Gruß aus der Küche, dieser machte Appetit auf mehr. der Hauptgang Brasse mit Risotto, war einfach großartig, was für ein Geschmackserlebnis. Alle bestellten Gerichte waren gleichwertig großartig. Es war ein wunderschöner Abend. Das Restaurant ist absolut zu empfehlen.

    We spent New Year's Eve at Grande Dame Athenian tavern, regretfully. Even though dinner was decent (New Year's fixed menu), it was rather overpriced in our opinion. Midnight was as quiet as any regular Tuesday night, the staff went about their business without so much as to stop and say, "Happy New Year", there was no countdown, no song, no cheer, which for the price paid was expected. Out of all the places we have celebrated over the last 20 years, this was definitely the saddest one. I do have to say the place was tastefully decorated and beautifully lit, so they must have known it was the holidays;(
