Since it was the last day they were open 12/6 they were running out of a few options. But other than that it was great had a filet mignon steak pretty good. As well my dad had a Lobster & shrimp bucatini. What a bummer you guys had to close due to this new regulations but lets hope for a better year in January so you guys can make your comeback. Definitely recommend this place.
Went the last day before the second lock down for covid. They were out of oysters, prime rib, and tiramisu, but the food we did get was excellent.
Service was impeccable but the food....beyond delicious. Elegantly presented but most importantly you can taste the quality of ingredients and freshness. Highly recommend. Worth the drive!
Great views, food was delicious. Service was also great. Will be back once shelter in place is lifted.
Wow! I couldn’t have asked for a better evening! My first time here, with a first official date of someone I am falling for. I chose this place because I wanted it to be “Our Spot”. I look forward to coming back as the food was incredible and the view was breathtaking! Thank you <3
It was my birthday dinner, i splurged and got the Kobe medium rare, which was delicious, also my first time eating Kobe steak so I have nothing to compare it to. However I would have preferred the filet mignon, wasn’t quite medium rare a little over cooked more like medium well. The view was absolutely stunning. I wish to come back in the summer though since they open at 5 and it was past sunset during our dinner on 11/30/20. Wine was amazing and service was great. At this time it was a bit cold even with their heaters out there, price was a bit high but I feel like the view was half the cost which is alright.
Perfect view. Excellent service. Great for romantic dinner. The only (minor) issue is that on-line menu is quite different from the real menu. If pre-selecting something, you may verify that it's actually available.
Beautiful view and food was great.
The expectation was more than the experience! We traveled all the way from Florida to celebrate a birthday only to be told we couldn’t take photos of the city view because there was a wedding reception at the restaurant! Imagine the disappointment after spending so much on dinner. The noise from other guests celebrating a birthday was a bit much and cheapened the experience for us.
Overall an amazing time eating here. Loved the views and how well servers took care of us!
Only critique or advice I'd give is maybe have some Vegan options!
Great View, service was great. Food was good. Definitely a great place for a date or special occasion. Hope to be able to go and do the normal dine-in when its safe to do so, so looking forward to the next visit.
The food is always good, fresh and well prepared but it is PRICEY for what it is. It doesn't stop me from visiting a few times a year though, where else are you going to see that spectacular view?
Really, really beautiful location. I felt for the prices they were charging the food should have been exceptional. It was just fair.
Great food and great service.
We were running late but I called ahead to let the restaurant know we would definitely be there. When we arrived it was just amazing, beautiful view and ambiance! The food was exquisite! Everything we ordered was above and beyond expectations, so worth the price. Everything was tasty and on point.
Had some friends in town and this was the perfect dinner spot with a view. Romantic ambiance, great service, steaks were amazing! I’ll definitely be back.
the tables are not social distances ( too close to other tables.)
It was amazing!
We went during COVID and they had a great set up. The food was amazing and service was great! They were out of the wine we selected but of course had a more expensive bottle - that was the only disappointment. Overall it was a great experience and highly recommend.
This was not a good experience as it begins with no parking and the pitch black night. Next, our server hardly checked on us and we waited an hour and a half for our entree. He wasn’t clear on the menu items which led to dissatisfied appetizers. Also, when he told us the special, they were out of stock. We didn’t have a table cloth on our table for some reason and I had to ask for a napkin. This was awful service and ultimately a terrible experience. I will not be returning and would not recommend anyone to go here.
Early anniversary dinner
Very nice quiet scenic restaurant, great service and great food
It was 70 degrees and someone came by and started the overhead heaters. Had to ask that they be shut off.
View was nice! Food was horrible.
Steak was frozen. Potato purée wasn’t good either.
Very good silicon valley view. Nice service. Friendly for family
Had a 7 pm reservation. Ordered one of their signature cocktails and was told it wasn’t offered at this time of year. Ordered an appetizer and was told they were out of my choice. Had the fried calamari instead. Very salty. The chicken parmigiana was just ok. My wife had the salmon dish and it was very good. This was our first time here. I guess we will give it a second chance. It’s all about the views.
Filet was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Lobster was good. Really need to try the maitake mushrooms!
Good service and good view, but the food just so so, I order one steak and lamp chop, but both are burn too much～ taster very bitter， so I need cut surface to eat～
Fantastic, the venue, the staff, the food, service? All top notch! The GrandView is far and away one of the best restaurants in the valley - I cannot recommend it enough
It was perfect, the food and view was outstanding and our server was great!
Sitting outside is cold and no faculties to be warmed. Outdoor furniture is not for a restaurant but as in a cheap cafe. Service is ok but we got ordered wine only in the middle of our dinner. Food is overpriced and nothing special.
The view is gorgeous.
It was cold and their heaters did not work. We were shivering in the cold and then finally we came back home before the main course since it was so unbearable and the service staff showed so less empathy. The chairs were also low and not the right height.
Amazing dinner and anniversary experience!
View was great aside from some haziness. Servers were friendly & accommodating.
We celebrated our anniversary there and everything was amazing! It was our first time there and every course we had was great! The staff, service and food was so good!
A grand view and delicious food. Irene delivered outstanding service; professional, reviewed the menu, attentive and paced our meal accordingly as to not feel rushed. A bit pricey but worth it.
It was husband’s 40 th birthday and we were there to celebrate that. They asked us what’s the special reason to be there and I explained and they didn’t not bring in any complementary dessert to celebrate. Also bread was cold, even on request no body bothered to ask again. My dish said grilled farm vegetables and it was Lima beans with the salmon. I loved the view but rest all was not up to mark.
We had a wonderful dinner, celebrating our anniversary. Our waiter was fantastic.
