They must be experiencing some turnover in the kitchen. I have had amazing meals there and was surprised by this disappointing experience.

Pork belly was not good for the price, small portions. Dessert very strong coffee taste, what if a person does not like coffee. Food took a long time.

The oysters were outstanding if you like raw oysters. The elk pie was delicious as were the shrimp on whipped feta. Great wait person, there when you needed her otherwise busy elsewhere.

Took my boyfriend out for his first dinner at Grand Trunk which is one of my favourite spots to eat in Prince George. Was amazing as always. Service is always speedy thoughtful and done with a smile. We got to enjoy some of the local drafts they had on tap with our appies. We got the Mojo prawns which are by far one of my favourite small plates they offer as well as enjoying some of the best burgers in town. My server Kristina was so bubbly and sweet, she practically knew the menu by heart and was so helpful in suggesting dishes and drinks to try. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed and the music was at a comfortable level. Great place for new people looking to explore the cities food scene as well as to bring your entire family. Will continue to come back 💜💜

We really enjoyed our night out at Grande Trunk Tavern. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The restaurant was full and busy, but our server/hostess was attentive and charming. My wife really enjoyed the oysters and calamari, while my vegi-burger was quite tasty. This just may be our new favorite restaurant.
