   Top of the line preparation of what we know as Indian (but actually Afghan, Pakistani with a little Persian). Careful, thoughtful spicing and choice of ingredients. This will become your go-to choice for cuisine representing that part of the world.

   The food at Grand Trunk Road was delicious. Waiter recommended the best dishes and he was not wrong (lamb, eggplant, half chicken) but the ambiance was weak. We were the only people in the restaurant on Friday night at 7, so it felt a little too quiet. But overall, the food was delicious. Would probably order out from here next time.

   A fabulous night out! Came in from out of town to try this neighborhood gem! Beautifully decorated. The best ambience for a nice dinner with friends and family. Would make a great date restaurant as well! The menu is beautiful. Hard to choose. We selected three appetizers: shahi kachori, aloo Tikka and Chapli kabob. All three were so scrumptious! Beautiful presentation! Almost too beautiful to eat. The seasoning hits the spot. Every bite is so flavorful! We had seekh kabob, behari kabob and achari chicken for dinner with naan. I’m telling you, you have to try this place. The flavors linger in your mouth. I want to go back and try more dishes.

   First time here. I like Indian food; my husband didn’t think he did. Lovely place. Owner who seated us and took our order couldn’t have been nicer. We loved our food. Had a chicken breast dish, the king crab dish and naan bread. All were delicious. Reasonably priced. Also enjoyed the white wine from Willamette Valley and my husband liked his beer. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon.

    From the beautiful dining room, to the fun mixology, to the great food and the wonderful owner everything was perfect. We started with two fun cocktails 1) Bollywood G&T and the 2) Naked and Famous in Bombay. Great taste, not too sweet and very refreshing on a horribly hot day. For a starter we had the mushroom and cheese naan. It was served with a tomato jam/relish. Very satisfying. We asked our waiter Chris to help us on the quantities of food to order and we took his directions. We ordered the Nehari (braised beef, fennel, Kashmiri chili, ginger powder) and an order of Piyazi Kulcha (Onion, cilantro, butter), Goat Biryani (saffron, whole spices, yogurt, tomatoes and Mint Boondi Raita (Mint, boondi, yogurt, chaat masala, black salt). It was a perfect dinner. The biryani was steamed in a bowl covered with a bread crust. When you were ready, you cut the top off and stirred all of the ingredients together. Incredibly good. Dinner with 2 cocktails and and a good bottle of Indian Chenin Blanc including tip $138. As is typical with most new restaurants they have had their struggles in the first 6 months. They were initially SLAMMED with new customers that were disappointed with the service (never the food). The fact is they were overwhelmed. GREAT NEWS - They are not overwhelmed now and deserve your patronage.

    Perfect spot for a birthday dinner with friends or family. We shared most of the appetizers which were great- including the kachori which was unique. Everyone enjoyed their dinners including the lamb chops, braised beef and the so delicious, spicy crab masala. The nan bread was piping hot and hard to stop eating. The boozy lassie is fun version of the non-alcoholic, and the J&K reminded me of a pisco sour. They treated us so well, that we will definitely be back.

    Great food. High end dining so smaller portions but a refined quality and taste. More expensive but this isn’t your run-of-the-mill buffet quality Indian/Pakistani fare. Would recommend and would go back.

    Delicious and unique dishes, great service and a beautiful restaurant. The crab masala was fantastic; it was a bit spicy but that gave me an excuse to order the raita which was the best I have ever had. I can't wait to go back and try brunch.

    Food is extremely spicy. Most items we bought were drowning in sauce but short on real food ingredients that fill you up. Server did not do enough to guide us through an unfamiliar menu. Rice was extra cost but should be included in entrees.

    Absolutely wonderful experience overall. We went there for Mother’s Day brunch. The owner came out to say hi and check how things were going and later the chef came to look at the dining room as well. Food was beyond what we expected. I love Bloody Mary’s, unfortunately this one did not hit home with me. That is THE only thing I didn’t like. We left with plans to come back and when we would be back.

    We love having a great restaurant within walking distance and the food is so unique. All the foods are carefully cooked from original Indian recipes, which take hours to prepare. And you can taste the difference and the freshness in everything - from the delicious papadum to the entrees. We have yet to make it to dessert! And the owner/chef always comes out and greets his guests. Please go and try this place!!

    Food was okay, but portions were small. Wine was good and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and apologetic, but VERY, VERY slow. We waited a long time for the initial bottle of wine, then the appetizer, then the food. It was at least a 20-30 minute wait between courses and we only ordered four menu items & naan for our group of three. Not to mention the restaurant was only 1/3 full. We were so over all the waiting around that by the time the meal ended we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. It seemed like they only had three people working for the bar, service, host, and kitchen. Won’t be going back, which is unfortunate considering the decor was nice, food was good, and staff friendly.

    This place missed the mark. Service was very slow (took 20 minutes to get a glass of wine) and the waiter had little to no knowledge of the menu. Rice absolutely should be included with every curry dish. We really wanted to like this place but it fell short of our expectations

    Overall, the food was okay, and very overpriced for the quality and quantity. The kadhi Pakora was very good, but the rest of the things we got were mediocre (eggplant curry - a bit bland and not very well spiced, lamb chops - a bit bland and were not warm when served, aloo tiki - overall fine nothing amazing). As mentioned in other reviews, the service is very slow. It took them one hour to bring out our first appetizer (aloo tikki), and it was not even warm when we got it. So, it seems like they have a major staffing issue.

    Enjoyable food and a pleasant evening. Had goat with lentil Daal gosht (recommended) spicy roast chicken GTR (excellent) with the Chapli Kabab - lamb and masala starter (also very good with a nice spice mix). There was a fair amount of "upselling" by the wait staff which got a bit annoying. And the music vibe could use a bit more panache. Definitely worth a visit

    Kitchen was unbearably slow - not just for us but for all the surrounding tables. Appetizers were taking an hour, and many frustrated. Service was good but she could not make up for no food on the table in a timely manner. Food was good, not great - too many great restaurants to give this another chance.

    Service was awful. The restaurant was not very busy when we were seated. It took 20+ minutes to get a waitress to take our drink order. Our appetizers were not entered. Drinks took a while to come back. Out main order took even longer. She forgot what wine we ordered (a bottle), which caused more delay. While our waitress apologized and thanked us for our patience, there was no comp provided (or at least none shared with us). I understand and appreciate that people have bad days, kitchen can be short-staffed, etc. I'm just not sure that was the case, with all of them happening at once. The food was great - but totally overshadowed by the poor service.

    Really like this place. Interesting menu and well executed Indian food. Had the lamb patty app on naan with 4 sauces and picked onion. Delish. Goat shoulder curry and one of the murgh tandoori dishes. Both excellent. Service was very good. Whatever glitch in service they may have had - as noted in prior reviews - seems to have been fixed. Give this place a try! A great addition to the neighborhood!

    Cannot really say anything. We had reservations on Open Table for Sunday, Feb 17,2019 for 7 Pm. We arrived on time in the midst of heavy snowfall only to find the restaurant closed with chains and padlocks. No one answered our phone calls. The site stated that they were open till 9-30. pm. Very disappointed

    The service at this place is terrible as all the reviews say. I do not see this place making it. They forgot to bring us wine we ordered, brought out complimentary dish of raw chicken and put things on our bill that we ordered that never showed up.
