We had higher hopes for the Igloos in regards to experience and the price we paid. It was $300 for basically a meat and cheese platter. Yes there was a $100 bar credit but the drinks were $15+ a piece so you really only got approx. 1 drink a person. The atmosphere was unique but since it’s only on floor two, you can’t really see much because of the buildings being in the way so the view was lacking. I believe if this was a cheaper option we would consider it again because the bartender was great and he gave great service.

Our kids needed to eat more than the platter provided, there were no options which was not ideal. However we did order uber eats and picked it up in the lobby and that was awesome. We were very pleased with the service. Nick was an amazing representative of your business.

We reserved a Igloo for my Birthday. We had an amazing igloo butler, food and drinks were great and inside the igloo was very cozy and warm. I would do it again but hopefully next time it will be snowing that would make the experience better.

My husband and I made reservations for a belated Valentine's date and it was fantastic! Would highly recommend this for a couple or a group. Our server Nick was wonderful, he was consistent in checking in with us but not too much so that we could enjoy the time together. The Celebration package we did was great as well! The igloos were very comfortable, cozy, intimate, and well thought out. We will definitely do this again in the future!

It was a magical night celebrating my husband's 55th birthday with family under the stars in The Grand Terrace Igloo! We enjoyed the new experience of outside dining and found it to be wonderful. The service was excellent and accommodation, comfortable. Although tasty and gourmet, the food amount is small for the price you pay. We knew to have a bite prior to coming. We enjoyed the $100 bar tab plus the complimentary champagne! If you love Spokane, this is a great gift for someone to share in the experience!

Nice evening for enjoying the outdoors in a cozy, unique setting. Everything from the food to the blankets (fun to have but we didn't need them) to the staff were outstanding.

Our Server made the experience worth it! Stephen was attentive and fun! The draw back was that we could not order additional food and for the 4 of us, the tray was not enough to fill us up.

Booking was a bit tricky, but the confirmation call cleared those issues up. Open tables doesn’t allow you to select your package, so we thought it was $150. Once we learned we had to pick a package, it was then $250 minimum. We ended up ordering a pricey bottle of wine, adding to our tab. Once gratuity and wine cost added, it was $350.00.
It was an experience. I would recommend others do it if they have finances. I do wish there were a more affordable option for couples wanting to indulge. Wine was marked up by 100% (just being real), the food was phenomenal, the blue tooth speaker was a huge plus. It was cozy and inviting. I think for the price we paid I would have like to have had it for 2 hours. Expanding packages and offering different times would be a wonderful addition to this service. If you are looking for a cheaper option, book with a group. As a couple it’s quite pricey. If you split the cost between 6, it’s more affordable. Cheers!

Don't waste your time or money! $250 for a charcuterie plate that leaves you hungry. The cheeses and meats were good, the pita bread was dried out, the fig jam was hard/stale and difficult to spread, there were only two cheese knives to serve out everything, the bar was extremely limited. Half of the drinks we tried to order they said they couldn't make or didn't have. The server was nice but not good. He dropped our plate of crackers and didn't bring back more to replace the ones we couldn't eat from the ground, the choice of NA drinks was abysmal and of the ones they served, only one was good. It is only on a balcony of the 2nd floor of the hotel so it's close to the street (noise was worse from the adjoining igloo of drunk dancing people than from the street) and the view is not great. It was advertised as a great view with amazing drinks and the advertising is totally false. The igloo, is a cool little place to hang out and I enjoyed spending time with friends and getting out. The igloos are decorated nicely and had plenty of seating options and blankets. There was a little heater that made it much warmer than I expected it to be, and they provided a bluetooth speaker so we could have music of our choice on which was nice. It has potential to be a better experience, but I think the Davenport greatly missed the mark on these. My advice is to eat before or after the igloos. Well, my advice is to save your time and money and not go, but if you do, eat before or after. We ended up eating at another restaurant downtown. If there was a way to get my money back, I would. At least we had a fun time walking around Downtown Spokane after. I now refer to the experience as the Grand Terrace Igboo. BOO!

We had a wonderful time! We had a little to many toppings for the crackers/breads provided but overall the food was wonderful. We had a few issues getting connected to Bluetooth but that got resolved pretty quickly too. It was nice and warm in the igloo and the blankets and pillows and decor were a nice touch to stay cozy. We brought a card game to play to keep everyone engaged as we didn't all know each other super well. I'd recommend providing a few games in the future as I think we would have been a bit sad without ours.

This is a brilliant place. Walt and Karen Worthy continue to be a treasure for bringing all of the Davenport experiences here. I invited an extra two very good friends to join four of us — since these are tables for six. Everyone had a fabulous evening here. Lucas Daehlin and his highly gifted, creative, special team have created something with these Igloos that is simply truly memorable and unforgettable. There is an exciting new renaissance going on in this great city — as typified in the Igloos experience. The Davenport team with all of their myriad choices continue to deliver what has now become an expectedly world class experience — with the service to match. Our very helpful and accommodating waiter even allowed us to remain a full hour extra beyond our reservation — explaining our Igloo was not booked.

It’s a beautiful experience:) However, for the price you should have one server per igloo. Albeit, our server was great- she had to manage other igloos. It took almost 20minutes before we got our first round of drinks. Since you only have 1 1/2hr in the igloo- it would have been nicer to have drinks qiucker,etc...Also, when we arrived there was no one to great us or tell us how long our wait would be- we had to search for someone - and had to do this three different times. I still recommend it- and assume the “kinks” will get worked out.

The Igloos are a great way to celebrate any occasion. They are well decorated, comfortable and cozy on the inside and the food is well thought out and fresh. Get the Premier Package if you can, because the salmon spread and tuna poke with fried wanton crackers are not to be missed.

The igloo was set up nice but the price point seemed a bit too high for sitting in a plastic bubble with very limited snack and a server rushing you out.

The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. The igloo was well-appointed and had a small heater which kept it at a comfortable temperature. A bluetooth speaker is also provided. The charcuterie tray was nice and had lots of tasty items. The drinks on the menu are $14 each, so the $100 bar credit doesn’t quite cover 2 drinks each for 4 people. Overall, it’s a unique experience and is priced as such.

The aesthetic of it was great, and it wasn’t cold inside. But I do think it’s extremely overpriced, especially for Spokane. The igloo had a interesting smell, I think because it’s poor ventilation mixed with humidity and not being able to properly clean and dry it that played a role in the gym locker room smell. The Charcuterie board and wine is great the service is great the view is great. But I definitely think $245-$300 is very steep because it’s not like they are providing us anything really rare. It’s not a dinner you’re having its hors d’oeuvres.

There wasnt enough food for all 5 of us and when we asked for more pita to eat what little hummus we did have they were unwilling to give more. For the price I was not impressed at all. I wouldn't recommend. The igloos were cool of course but with all other factors not a fan.

After reading the reviews the night before our reservation I was worried! But I worried for nothing! The Davenport responded to reviews by providing real silverware at our service and the waitstaff, while busy, was quite attentive!

All we had to do was follow the signs from the lobby when we got there right up to the bar. We were taken to our igloo and told our food would be brought right out. We had our food within a few minutes of being there and there was plenty of food. Everything was fresh and delicious! Our drinks were great, if not a little on the strong side, and the waitstaff checked on us enough to keep us with drinks in our hands the entire time. We didn't use our entire bar tab and were invited to use the extra for a bottle to take home!

The setting was unique, beautiful and fun! We had so much fun taking pictures and dreaming about having our own igloo the hour and a half flew right by! Thankfully we weren't kicked right out after 90 minutes and I feel like they were very generous with our time in the igloo!

My family and I enjoyed this experience! We were celebrating a big birthday so it was worth a splurge but it would be nice, if this event is offered in the future, for more reasonably priced packages so the experience could be enjoyed by more.

Best overall service, setting and ambiance I have ever had at any sort of outing in the Spokane area. I was worried that they were not going to be heated adequately, but with the space heater and blankets it was extremely cozy and comfortable in there. The celebration package had amazing desserts and was great as well. The best part about it was the service. Our two servers made sure we were covered with anything we needed and were also very friendly. Overall this experience was worth every dollar and we will probably be going back. Great way to spend a Friday night and I recommend this to anyone who is interested!!

Honestly you pay $300 for a single plate of crackers and cheese you can buy at the store. When you first get there, the ambiance is amazing. Until you figure out that there’s nothing to really do for the whole reservation but just sit there. If you have a group of 6 I would recommend. But definitely NOT worth what they ask! Also, make sure that you tell them which package you want at least a day before hand. I didn’t have an option for which package I wanted (it was for my bday, I wanted the celebration package which is the same price as standard but you get WAY less) and we got there and they told me you can’t change it. Customer service was good. Just not worth the price whatsoever.

Yes, the news and Facebook made it seem extravagant and magical, as a winter wonderland. And yes, it was quite relaxing spending quality time with my loved one with my favorite playlist on Bluetooth. Although the full experience is what I was looking forward to. After being seated, the server was reserved and kind, yet awkward. He did not exchange rapport, where it would have fit in well. For the experience I had in mind, I expected / hoped / looked forward to SOME pleasantries. He takes our drink order and dismissed himself. Once our server returns, first thing I notice, was bottled water. Again, for the experience I had in mind, also considering a dress code was mandatory, I expected a smidge more class. This continued as the server brought our utensils and they were also plastic, unfortunately. Once the food and drinks were brought out, things started to look up. The food was delicious, the spread was beautiful, the drinks were warm, a tinge strong, yet drinkable. We had two cocktails each, priced 14$ a piece, leaving us with around $50 left over on the included 100$ bar tab. We went with a bottle of Sauvage Rosé, 42$. Everything tasted amazing, I enjoyed my time, just wish the experience held up to the price.

We took a group of 10 people split into two igloos for my husband's 50th birthday weekend. Believe me—I really really wanted to love this experience, but in the end, it was just a (really cool) photoshoot opportunity. If that's your thing, rock on. If not, read on:

The food. As we had out-of-town guests, we spent the weekend eating our way through Spokane's best restaurants. After that experience, the food in the igloos was mediocre at best. The cheese plate was uninspired; kinda like what you'd expect on a buffet at a banquet. Double cream cream brie that was definitely cut a few hours ago, big slabs of gouda, and...you know what? It was so unremarkable I don't even remember. Marcona almonds that were swimming in too much oil, and giant underripe flavorless chocolate-covered strawberries. The truffles were nice, but you can't really eat more than one or two in a sitting. Davenport peanut brittle is always a win.

The service. Our servers were fantastic and very accommodating. The problem for them is that they're running drinks for multiple people in multiple igloos without the usual cadence of dinner...so chances are, you're going to wait a while for your next drink just because you're out of sync with your drinking partners. Since none of our party are much into specialty cocktails (we stick to the basics: old fashioneds, martinis, manhattans), the lack of a liquor list was unfortunate.

The ambiance. The igloos are beautiful and the decor is adorable. Our igloo still had that freshly-unrolled-vinyl smell that I'm sure will go away in a few weeks. The thing is, at least at night, you can't really see what's going on outside; it's just you and your igloo-mates. I wish we would have brought a game or a little karaoke machine or something.

Overall impressions: if you have the money to blow on a unique experience, do it for the instagram and the chance to say you've done it. Want great food and control over when and what you drink? Head elsewhere.

Not worth the $. Paid 300$ to get service with plastic ware. The igloos aren’t facing the street they are facing the side of the building. Server was great ! The idea is super cool but I would have done things a bit differently. As you walk up to the igloos there is nobody there to “seat” you. You have to go find someone in the bar area. Again the idea was super cool, inside of the igloos were stylish, but for the 300$ I wouldn’t do it again.
