   We throughly enjoyed our dining experience. There were no complaints in our group and some nice surprises like the scallops and filet. Our food reached the table fresh and cooked to perfection. We were impressed to say the least. Highly recommend.

   This was our second trip to The Grand Taverne. Who couldn't love this place? It's historic, has great ambiance, great food and great staff.

   We really enjoyed the meal, my husband loved the filet, I had the pork which was also outstanding. The service was very good also, however they seated us next to the noisy bar, and to another couple, when there were many open tables. Also they had a grand piano in the dining room, but no pianist, surprising to us since it was a Friday evening. We would have really enjoyed that. It was our anniversary, it would have been nice if they would have asked if it was a special occasion.

   Food was good but not what I would expect for the prices. It would make a better casual restaurant than fine dining. There were no other customers in the restaurant and there was a home office set up maybe 10 feet from our table where an employee was checking in hotel guests. Nothing about the operation felt professional or refined. The food was the saving grace of it, but if I'm driving to Eureka Springs and spending $80-100 on a meal (with no desserts, drinks, or appetizers), I expect more from the food.

   We received a trip from our KIDS AND GRANDKIDS FOR OUR 50TH ANNIVERSARY. WE CHOSE TO VISIT EUREKA SPRINGS TO SPECIALLY EAT AT THE GRAND TAVERN. WE HAD BEEN THERE SEVERAL YEARS AGO AND LOVED IT. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT THIS TIME. FOOD IS GREAT. SERVICE WAS SPOT ON. THANK YOU.

   Local flavor was a very pleasant dining experience for my wife and I. We didn't have to wait on our table. We were seated right away. Service was very good. I ordered the grilled beef filet. It was cooked perfect. This steak was at least an inch thick, advertised as 8 ounces but I know it was bigger than that. It came with asparagus. I normally don't like asparagus but this was good. Excellent place to dine, casual or special occasion.

   Rarely eat this fancy, but made an anniversary reservation from out of town. Apparently they don't require business casual because several were in shorts; even one guy wearing a ballcap during dinner! Ordered $50 steaks. Could not cut into them; could not chew them. They were med/rare so should have been able to cut them w/ butter knife! Both steaks were full of gristle. Hubby's steak was so bad he had to chop it out like a pork chop. Mine was so bad I had to spit it out. Waiter was nice enough and they took half off, but it ruined our experience and anniv for sure. Extremely disappointed and will never recommend or go back.
