Made reservations for 2 via OpenTable for 5pm several days in advance. Entered the restaurant at 5:02pm on a rainy day. Host appeared to very displeased and immediately, we felt unwelcome. Provided the reservation name, and without a word, he grabbed menus and silverware and started walking away towards the bar seating area. As we sat down, a busser placed a bowl of cold tortilla chips and nice big bowl of salsa on the table - no greeting, no welcome, no smiles. So, we checked the menu. And waited. And looked for who might be our server. And waited. No greeting, no word there would be a bit of a delay, no water. And 30 minutes later, still nothing. I started to get up to go see the host or a manager (30 minutes after sitting down) our server arrived and apologized for the delay. It was not busy. There were open tables. Within a reasonable amount of time, we expect someone to greet and say they will be by shortly. At this point, the experience took a turn for the better, as the server was attentive and provided a recommended cheese dip for the chips - which was very good. Surprisingly, the food was somewhat bland for an authentic Mexican restaurant - might be this location, because a previous visit to the 4th Street location was more flavorful and a much, much better experience. Overall, it was a mediocre experience; it was overpriced for what the restaurant claims to provide.

After reading the reviews, we went here for a big family dinner. Maybe because we are from Southern California, where the Mexican food is great, we had high expectations. Well...in comparison the food was not very good. My husband's chicken tasted reheated with gristle in it, and mine came out just barely room temperature. The service was good and the sangria was very good too. There was some confusion about our kids sharing a kids' plate (they were 3 and 4), so we knew they wouldn't eat a whole kids' meal. We were told that kids' meals weren't shareable...not sure what that meant. Overall, I wouldn't go back or recommend it if you are looking for good Mexican food.

Food was overpriced. We arrived at 830 and were reminded many times that they were closing at 9pm. There was one other party in the restaurant. The waiter had to be asked several times for refills on drinks, didn't bring margarita out until he was reminded when the food arrived. We were rushed through dinner and then promptly given the check at 855. The service was HORRIBLE, staff was rude. Constantly being reminded that they were closing is not good customer service. To top it off, we were forced to tip 20% because there were 6 of us. I don't think the restaurant has been open long- there was plastic sheeting hanging off nearly all of the chairs- like they covered them so they wouldn't get dirty??? Won't be going back.

I had not been to Grand Hacienda this wanted to try. The overall flavor of the food was great but I ordered a Taco Salad which to me means a salad with taco stuff on it. I asked to not have any rice in it but to add extra lettuce to it! I had minimal lettuce on it thus had just a blob of beans and meat! Like I said the flavor was great but not at all salad like. It was not very busy at the time I was there but our service was guile slow and she really did not check on us very often.

After making a reservation a week out from the set date, we arrived with no table. Once seated outside we waited 15 minutes for a server. At the end of the night I gave my card to pay and the server did not return with my card for 25 minutes. Not a great experience.

The house margarita is very good and a nice way to start a meal on a Friday! My friend loved the brisket tacos, and my chicken enchiladas with green sauce was tasty. The only thing was it didn't have 'a kick' which I like in my Mexican food. The salsa, while good, was still lacking a zing. But everyone's palate is different. My friend really loved the salsa! Maybe she should have written this! Service was good, and I would recommend.

It was my birthday, we got seated and had nobody come up to us for a solid 20 minutes. Seating was terrible as we were seated directly next to three others. I can’t say much about the food or drinks or anything because nobody even came up to ask us what we wanted to drink. Disappointed. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else.
