Good food and good service. We came in between Sunday Brunch clean up and the beginning of the dinner hour. Understandably, we had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Once seated, the food was great. The crab cake entree was good...but, the "sauce portions" were extremely stingy....I was surprised. I would love to return for the Sunday Brunch sometime-I bet it's spectacular.

The background music was high causing diners to talk louder to hear one another. The Banana Foster was the best. Loved the breakfast selections. Prime too raw. View of city was amazing, even though river is always muddy this time of year. We will return for Valentines Day /Wedding Anniversay again next year. 20 years this year!!

While we usually have only good things to say about the Grand Concourse, this time there were a couple of annoying issues... The omelets were way overcooked and the piped in music was far too loud for normal conversation. Prime rib was very good...!

This is one of my favorite places to go for a nice meal. Is a bit on the expensive side but if you are celebrating it is totally worth the price. The food and atmosphere is incredible.

I have not given many poor ratings on review sites but based on our experience, the Grand Concourse definitely earned it. The service was very slow during our visit. We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation and were seated on time. However, it took 15 minutes for our waiter to arrive and another 15 minutes to receive our drinks. Our dinners arrived about 30 minutes after our drinks. That's 1 hour total from our arrival time which is unacceptable for a highly rated & expensive restaurant. Our waiter did not check on us very often so our drinks remained empty for a decent amount of time. Lastly, the Fillet Mignon was not very high quality because it contained muscle fibers which made it both more chewy & more difficult to cut.

We were never greeted by a server. 10 minutes after sitting down we flagged down someone to inquire as to who our server was and they didn't know. We didn't get water or bread. The person we flagged down took our drink order and promised to find out who our server was - it took quite sometime for our drinks. 50 minutes later we finally placed our dinner order with the person we flagged down - so no original server ever came over to apologize. No one even looked twice at us with no water or food. No manager ever came over to address us in anyway - even though the server was going to mention our situation to them. The restaurant was not overly busy, there is no reason for such poor service and food. Food was mediocre at best - filet overcooked, crab legs overcooked...very disappointed - won't be back, won't recommend and will probably discourage anyone from going in the future.

Probably the best fish I ever had, the Applejack Sea Bass was prepared perfectly. Our guests also complimented the lobster bisque as their best ever.

My husband and I came here for Valentine's Day dinner. Initially, there was some confusion as to which server was assigned our table. We were first greeted by a server who took our drink and appetizer order and who also brought us bread. 10 minutes later, another server greeted us, and eventually took over our table. She was confused as to why we had already been greeted, and told us the first server was a trainee. We chalked it up to being a busy night. As for the food, we were underwhelmed by the quality for the price we paid. The firecracker shrimp had a bit too much batter for our taste. I had the pepper crusted tenderloin medallions, which was just ok. My husband had the salmon with crab stuffing from the Valentine's menu. He found the mashed potatoes to be dry and the stuffing to be a little overpowering with the salmon. It was a very crowded Saturday night, and we had difficulty carrying on a conversation with the noise level. I did, however, enjoy sitting near the windows and looking out over the river. I should also add I've been here for Sunday brunch and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Stunning view. Interior is also gorgeous.
Food was ok. I think they might cater to an older crowd. My husband was coached by the waiter to get rare tuna. There wasn’t a spec of pink on it — meaning it was cooked to death (and beyond). My scallops were also over cooked. They weren’t shy with the salt either.
Overall I’m glad I experienced it once for the view but I probably won’t go back.

Excellent food and service. We would have preferred a table closer to a window on the waterfront but were given a smaller table when there were available tables closer to the window. The restaurant was not that busy that night. However, the food and service was exceptional. They may have been holding tables for larger parties.

Ambiance was amazing. Food on the other hand didn't meet expectations. Service was sub-par, server missed details on 2 dishes and completely forgot another. Very hard to recommend anything other that drinks at the bat.

4 scallops and 2 shrimp for 32 dollars is absurd. It was very good. Service was polite but infrequent - we ran out of water and didn’t have our glass refilled.

This was a birthday celebration and it couldn't have been more perfect. Our waitress was attentive and efficient. She made some great recommendations and the food was excellent. We had a nice table in the River Room with a lovely view of the south-facing side of the Golden Triangle.

We had a 12:30pm reservation and checked in at 12:15pm. At 1pm we were still not seated. I went to inquire and was told our reservation was at 1:30pm. I showed them my confirm and was told that it must have gotten switched. Why didn’t they tell notice that when I checked in at 12:15pm. Other then that it was a wonderful brunch!!!

The brunch buffet was amazing, everything we tried was excellent. The only complaint was the service. Our server never filled our water, didn't check in on us, and I had to flag her down to get a second cup of coffee. Thankfully it was self service on the food or we probably would of left.
