Waitress unfriendly bc we asked to be moved by 2 tables not to be by the kitchen. The restaurant was 95 percent empty . Food played bad w a yellow asparagus on top , the mahi mahi was not cooked inside . The bread was not fresh . Waitress did not recommend any dishes seems annoyed and bored by us. She had long beaded hair and was very tall so when she put the mussels on the table we were afraid that her braids will go right in the food . The mussels were served with no toast w garlic to dip in the juice ….The place is beautiful and the view from the window is a million dollar view but the service was truly bad and the food under par … the place needs new management. The valet parking should be free with paid meal !

Beautiful restaurant! I was impressed as soon as I walked in. We ordered mussels to start and those were underwhelming, we didn’t finish them. My husbands clam chowder was delicious though. For our entrees the lamb chops were very good but the sample trio I got was just ok. The coconut shrimp was the best part of it. The crab cake tasted pretty fishy so I was scared to eat it. We wanted to order dessert but our server took so long to take our plates after the appetizer and entrees that we had already been there almost 2 hours and just wanted to leave. He was a nice guy but maybe he is new, he wasn’t really on top of things. Overall maybe I would come here again but it wouldn’t be my first pick…

We always enjoy out visit. Our server outstanding, she was attentive, without the annoying hovering. We love the ambiance. Many choices of food. This was I believe the fourth time there for the Sunday brunch.

Grand Concourse Sunday brunch is one of our favorite traditions. The building is beautiful. The atmosphere is amazing. The view of the river is a wonderful background to dine. The food is fantastic. The boys cannot get enough of the carving station. We really enjoy coming here 3-4 times annually for birthdays.

My wife & I live in Richmond,VA we go to the Grand Concourse often when we're in Pittsburgh for the Steelers game. This time we just decided to on a road trip just to go to the Grand Concourse needless to say this the worst experience we ever had here our alcohol beverages were so watered down (Patron shots & Crown Royal Apple shots) & the food was not pleasant at all. Grand Concourse must be under recently new management. The service was great as always. Overall we are very disappointed.

went yesterday for my 32nd birthday. I had 10 people with us. I have a list of issues. -We waited 20 minutes at the bar to serviced and after being service she never came back to check on us to see if we wanted to have another drink. -Once seated our waiter Moses walked past and stated that he was our waiter and would be right back. Right back was 20 minutes -he came back and took our drink order. However, he did not remember what drink went to who. -he also forgot to additional drinks, which was a Coke and a glass of wine. -After correcting the drink mistake, he came back another 20 hours later to take our food order. -this is the part that we could not believe what just happened. MYSELF AND 2 OF MY FRIENDS SEEN A MOUSE RUN ARCOSS THE RESTAURANT. -We told Moses that we would like to speak with a manager. He came back out a half an hour later with our dinner however, he did not bring a manager. We asked for steak sauce, and when he came back with the steak sauce, I asked him for the manager. Once again he came back 15 minutes later with the manager and the chef this is the part that we didn’t understand. Being that we are all from Pittsburgh. We are all used to being downtown with the pigeons. We understand what it’s like to eat in the city however, we have never experienced seeing a mouse in a restaurant to tolepo honey is across the street never seen a mouse the melting pot never seen a mouse. There is no reason and no excuse for 10 customers to come to fine dining and experience a mouse once speaking with the manager, he did not take any accountability. He blamed it on the fact that the restaurant is so close to the water, he continue to ask is the issue here the service or the food the service was an issue being that Moses was struggling with taking orders and bringing food and drinks however, seeing a mouse is something that I would never want to experience at a fine dining restaurant our experience there was absolutely terrible we never got an apology and the

My husband and I went for the Easter buffet. We had herd very good things from friends in the past. Made to order Pasta station was fantastic. As was the dessert/ donut station. Our drinks & service were also great. Sadly the food quality on the buffet was just ok. Nothing really stood out for us. We did have the 7pm reservation, but it was insanely busy still. I understand after such a long day and serving so many people... I just would have liked better attention paid to the quality of the food put out. Especially for what we paid to be there. It was something to cross off our Pittsburgh bucket list. I just don't see us going back to this Particular event.

The food was good, I prefer stations rather than one big long line. It seemed that it was hard for the servers to get in and out because of the line …you were always in the way. I feel they could do better with the desserts. The donut station and ice cream was fun for the kids. But for adults, I think they could’ve done better with their selection of desserts. If you go go earlier than 6 o’clock. But overall it was fine.

The layout was not so easy to maneuver. It was hard to tell what some of the sides were without labels. We attended Easter buffets every year since I was a child, for over 50 years. The carving station was delicious. The service was great. The atmosphere was lovely. Would have liked a larger dessert variety.

Being that was a holiday, we expected a bit of a wait, crowds and noise. Reservations were running about 45 minutes behind so we were late to get seated obviously. Once seated, though the server was quick to get to our table and get drink orders. Unfortunately, all expeditiousness ended there. we stood in line for the better part of 25 minutes waiting to get through the hot bar line suit on the hot bar was being replenished frequently however, only three items were labeled and they were the most obvious items on the buffet – green beans, chicken, and potatoes. Only one staff person was working at the carving station, which is where the bottleneck seemed to happen. The prime rib was overdone, the lamb was barely dead, and the turkey was perfectly smoked and juicy. The pasta bar was basic enough and the highlight was the donut station, though $60/person for a donut seems steep!

Had reservations at 5:30 am, didn’t get seated until 6:30 pm. Food wasn’t enjoyable as from last year Easter brunch we had. The prime rib was over cooked. Chicken was cold. The scallops potatoes dish was just about empty. But, the pasta was done perfect . The server did a wonderful job making the pasta. Dessert was so so !! The chocolate was empty being served. Ran out of donuts !!! Some of the wine bottles are over priced. For instance, one of the wines you sell at the bar you charge $110 I buy the same item at the state store for $65. Hopefully next year it gets better. This is my third season coming to the grand Concord for Easter. …..

We had a wonderful time dining at the Grand Concourse for Easter. The food was excellent and fresh, even though we opted for a later seating. It was laid out well to keep everything flowing and reduce waiting time. There were a variety of choices to enjoy. I will say that the lamb was undercooked making it difficult to chew(my son choked on it, but we handled it and thankfully he was okay) The prime rib was delicious. The restaurant was beautiful and the acoustics were great, so although crowded it wasn’t overly loud. The music was very pleasant and at an excellent volume enabling conversation. Our servers, Missy and Greg were attentive and extremely pleasant. We didn’t feel rushed and appreciated them explaining the layout and telling us to pace ourselves as it was our first time there. We did wait a while past our reservation time. Again once my husband spoke to someone they were extremely attentive. The staff, chefs and servers were all very friendly and helpful even though they were obviously extremely busy and approaching the end of a long day. My only suggestion would be to offer some type of Italian cuisine other than pasta. It would also be wonderful to have sugar free dessert choices and my husband was surprised (disappointed) that there wasn’t any carrot cake. Thank you for a great Easter experience. We definitely look forward to dining at the Grand Concourse again on a non holiday!

I don’t recommend Easter Sunday! It is run like a train station, masses of people dressed in their work around the yard clothes or paint the house clothes! Shocking! We have been coming since 1978 and come every time we are in town, the price is worth it , food prepared exquisitely BUT NOT on Easter! However, the staff is ultra professional and attentive ( I doubt they enjoy the stadium feel!) and we were already there so we enjoy ourselves despite the appalling circumstances. Of course we will go back- we celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, rent out the private dining room for family gatherings. We will AVOID the Easter Brunch for the rest of this life! Definitely go, just avoid Easter unless you enjoy that vibe.

We enjoy going to the Grand Concourse every year for Easter Brunch. I make my reservations as early as possible because it always books up fast. Part of going there is to enjoy the actual physical restaurant. This Easter we were seated in a tent outside by the street next to the waiter/waitress bus station. The opposite end of the food locations sitting on banquet style chairs. Ambience was zero and very disappointing.

Visited for the Easter buffet. Food selection and service was good however there seemed to be poor coordination with buffet lines and seating arrangements. Too many people for what was offered making it congested all over and long waits for food. Navigating the dining room was very difficult at times. Spacing the food stations would make for a more enjoyable experience.

The restaurant seemed unprepared for the amount of customers gor Easter brunch. There was a 30 minute wait for 1:15 reservation. The front desk staff seemed to be flustered. The fact that they decided to have 1 line for the main buffet section was unacceptable (15-20 min) for close to a $60 per person cost. Prime rib was tough and not a ton of flavor. The rest of the hot items were just okay. Waffles were good but for $60ish per person you have to do better than waffles. Wait staff very friendly.

The salmon, prime rib are well worth the price of admission. Salad and side were great. We go there every Easter and Father's Day.

Food was decent, the entryways and general restaurant were very loud and congested. They were clearly understaffed and getting the attention of the wait staff was sometimes quite difficult. I'd return during a non-holiday to get a better picture of the restaurant in the future.

For the price of this brunch, the quality of food, disorganization, and atmosphere was very low. Stations were messy and the food selection was not great. Our glasses and utensils were not clean. Service was okay.
