Food was delicious and atmosphere was welcoming. I received the wrong meal and my husband's steak was raw. However, it still tasted great!

The food was average and brought to the table cold. There weren't enough waiters to properly wait the tablres.

I celebrated my birthday with my family. They tried to seat us at a table right by the kitchen but honored our request for a better table. The service was professional and prompt. Our entrees--steak and shrimp scampi, Cajun chicken tortellini, and snapper-- were delicious. Definitely will go back.

I made a reservation for my husband and I for our first wedding anniversary and we got there 10 minutes early to check in and there were large groups that had reservations for times after us that were seated before us. We finally got seated (after waiting 30 minutes) at a table that was closed off due to social distancing, so it made us seem like an afterthought. There was NOTHING online that stated that there was a buffet when I made the reservation, so that was unfortunate to be told that when we sat down. Food was delicious, but lukewarm. While we were still finishing eating, a waitress was cleaning up around us and took our candle off our table, while not saying anything or looking at us. Our waitress also said she validated our parking ticket, but just gave us our old ticket back and we still had to pay for parking.
Overall, disappointing for a supposed “fine dining” establishment. Not worth the money we paid.

Mother's Day Brunch-

Excellent table with a view of the river and bridge. The staff could not keep up with the business on Mother's Day. Hostess was seating people onto dirty tables. The waitstaff was overwhelmed. You had to ask for every single thing-from silverware to condiments, etc. The staff was well trained, polite and courteous-but slow.

Food was 7/10. The fresh donuts was the best thing. The pasta station was slow and not worth waiting for. Food choices were sparse.

We had a lovely day mostly because of our seat in a booth with a view. This was a one and done deal. $42/person for the buffet with limited choices.

We did use the Valet Parking for $10 as it was pouring rain-they were efficient and courteous.

My family and I do Mother’s Day brunch every year
Last year we were extremely disappointed to miss out because of the pandemic
This year was the only time we have been disappointed in the brunch
Our service was awful! Everting took over ten minutes to receive once asked for...
The waitress smelled of smoke, and was not timely for coffee/drink refills
The buffet food was cold, still tasted good
The sticky buns were so burnt you could not eat them (and I look forward to them as an annual tasty treat)
We will be back next year, just hope for improved service and food

Not as good as it used to be. The menu has been reduced and many of our favorites are missing. We came for a birthday to celebrate with the chocolate molten lava cake is no longer on the menu. GC used to be a fabulous dining experience, but now it is just OK.

I wonder why they bother to give a table bottled, branded water, when it is obviously a reused bottle filled with tap water. Ruins the entire experience. The bottle was labeled “Purezza- Sparkling” as opposed to the nearly identical bottles on our table labeled “Purezza- Flat.” They had the same water, suggesting they were simply refilled with tap water. Ridiculous from a restaurant that claims to be upscale.
They also served half of my party’s meal, then the other half about 15 minutes later, but the orders were also wrong. The steaks and prime rib were all at the wrong temperatures- which is, again, ridiculous. They weren’t THAT busy. And! To top it off, the servers began bussing our table while we were still eating, without asking us, while there were multiple tables behind us that were empty and filthy. They took my mother’s silverware WHILE SHE WAS STILL EATING. We had to ask for a new set. Mindblowing.
Needless to say we will not be returning. The food is nowhere near worth the stupid mistakes and cheap experiences.

Out to celebrate graduating with my masters and celebrate nurses week. Ordered mahi mahi and surf and turf. Entree’s came out ice cold. Manager called to the table who took our food and threw it in the microwave. Same food and plates came out with the same markings we made when trying the food. Steak was now well done when it was supposed to be medium, lobster tail was flat and looked like tire rubber, mahi mahi was dry and salted like beef jerky. Manager came again and said “sorry” then provided us with the bill where he noted “guest did not like meal.” Would not recommend to any one!

I had a wonderful time. Everything I was concerned about was better than anticipated. Wanted a quiet table where I could talk and share with a good friend. Perfect. Service was caring and not over bearing or rushed. Food was superb. The waitress very attentive. We were not rushed in the least bit, which I had hoped would be the case. Would recommend for an exquisite and delicious meal and experience. Thank you.

This was a very disappointing experience. I was taking out my daughter and 3 of her friends to celebrate the conclusion of their Covid-ridden sophomore year at Pitt. We had a reservation for 6:45 pm and, though we arrived on time, we were not seated until 7 pm. The waiter was downright rude. I asked him 3x for bread and the first two times he said "oh yes, it's on its way," and the 3rd time (which was a reminder when he brought us the appetizer), he said, in a very abrupt and rude tone: "It's not ready. I will bring it when it is ready." He remained abrupt and uncommunicative the entire time. Every entree was bland and unflavorful (we had the pasta carbonara, the shrimp scampi pasta, the lemon chicken, and the salmon). The only truly good things were the appetizer (we had the calamari) and the desserts (we had the cheesecake and carrot cake, which were fabulous). I will never go back.
