I had a fantastic experience at the granary, all the staff and management were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, I will gladly go back!
Expensive. Food was served in an appropriate amount of time. Restaurant does NOT cater to requests of omitting butter or sauces from plates. Vegetables were swimming in butter/oil despite my request to omit that from my food. I was asked my request was due to an allergy, maybe if I had said yes, they would have listened...? Overall, the food was delicious! Just not healthy. Would recommend to every non dieting person!
Great food...great atmosphere and wonderful staff!
Friendly staff and delicious food. Great brunch experience. The frittata was divine.
This was my 3rd time eating at Granary Tavern and like all of the previous times, it did not disappoint! The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The waitress was friendly and brought water over for the kids in kid cups before we even asked. They have a good kid's menu and plenty of incredible options for adults. If you're looking for a place that won't disappoint, Granary Tavern is it!
Nice place with plenty of room. Was able to get a table last minute.
Called ahead to ask about the patio seating and they said they were open but didn’t mention a full blown construction worksite happening 10 feet away from it. Took 30 minutes for someone to take our drink order after we were sat. The food got brought out before the drinks. Didn’t have a server come back to the table to ask if we wanted another drink after sitting there with empty plates and drinks for about a half hour. Not sure if they were short staffed on servers but it was bad.
Great food! The frittata with greens was the best egg-based dish I’ve had in a long time. I would go back here just to eat it! I don’t normally clear my plate at a restaurant. Great taste and portion size.
The chicken and waffles, grits and eggs Benedict were also very good. Mimosas were also on point.
The staff were very pleasant and accommodating for our party of 6. Food was phenomenal! Highly recommend.
Great food! Good service. Very nice staff!
We were pressured to order and we were told we could not bring my birthday cake, despite we made sure In advance THAT IT WAS OK.
The food was probably one of the heaviest I have tried in Boston.
Hostess was very energetic and pleasant! Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. Our waiter was not personable at all - he didn't even introduce himself. He didn't offer us any information about the restaurant or the menu. Fine, we can figure it out. His questions were curt and he didn't follow up after the food was brought to our table, then took forever to notice that we were done eating. Overall the food wasn't bad. My son loved his burger but the lobster rangoon had no flavor of lobster at all - all cream cheese. For a $15 appetizer of 5 tiny rangoon, it was definitley not worth it. Meal was overpriced and service was horrible.
The brunch was great! Lots of space between tables and we felt really comfy the whole time.
Service was amazing and the food was great too!
My wife's lobster rangoons were excellent. My burger was dry because it came without the fried egg, which I didn't notice at first, and I didn't really get the option to send it back because we got very little attention from our waitress. It was very busy, and the food was OK. Again my wife's food was great, and I can say that my sweet potato fries were very good too. The waitress said she would take the burger off the bill, but did not. I didn't want to wait any longer so I just paid and we left. For a place called a Gastropub, I really expect more.
Food was great. Drinks were average. I tried to order what my friend got and got a totally different drink.
Delicious food, attentive service, and peaceful ambiance! Will definitely be back
My girlfriend and I ended up here on a Saturday when everything else seemed to be booked. We are glad we did- it was so delicious! Priced decent for Boston, good food, and good drinks. Ambiance was nice with music. Tables were a little too close together though in my opinion.
The food and service were great! The menu was a bit limited with options, but what they did have was cooked to perfection.
Food was fantastic and hot until the last bite! Our server was wonderful and the atmosphere was great too.
Food and atmosphere are great. Please check it out if you’re in the area.
never again, ever,
Great food and service
Absolutely wonderful. Among other items. we sampled the fork tender meatballs and the Scallops. Both were cooked to perfection.
Food was anything but good. I felt bad complaining so many times about the brunch....
Eggs were cold, bloody Mary’s were almost undrinkable. After we mentioned this, we got mimosas instead. These were also flat and not worth the money. My avocado toast was completely soggy, and for 14 dollars it should be better.
We’ve never been there before but totally surprised by the results. The people there were extremely nice, the food was really good quality, the look of the restaurant is low-key, but the vibe is extremely nice! Totally recommend
It was amazing!
Service was great! Food and drinks were subpar. "Blistered" shishito peppers were barely cooked (let alone blistered) and the "spicy blood orange margarita" had no flavor and was not spicy at all.
Great all around!
Great customer service and friendly waiter, and food was delicious
Thank you, we hope to see you again soon!
My waiter Peter is the best waiter I have ever had! Also amazing brick chicken🐔
We love Peter too!
Food was delicious, servers were attentive and helpful in answering questions, drinks were delicious!
We are glad you enjoyed!
Belated bday dinner - was a little slow to get drinks throughout the night - the apps were great. Dinner was a good value, but weren’t anything to write home about. Overall 4.87 stars out of 5
Had a great lunch at Granary Tavern our waitress was friendly and quick. Although limited in number of options for an afternoon lunch the food was phenomenal one of the best burgers I’ve had in recent memory and overall really enjoyed the location.
Great food and service. We had a mix of breakfast and lunch items and all of them were delicious. The kids loved it too. Perfect for a yummy meal with the family or for a date night.
Excellent first meal upon arriving in Boston! Thank you for a great first impression!
Overall good experience!
First time here and will come back. Good food and drink in a great location. Service was excellent.
We can't wait to see you again!
Amazing food with large portions at a great value, cozy environment, and best service I have had in Boston!
Great service and the food was perfect.
