Amazing service. Food was great!
This was my second time in two weeks.
Again: excellent welcome. Girl at the bar so cute. Outdoor dinner was perfect. Our waitress also was fantastic. Maybe she needed some help as the area was almost completed only for one person attending. I enjoyed garlic/ Parmesan bread / meatballs/ and two different pasta. Italian Beer and ready to go home! I recommend Grana and they will open a new style restaurant soon ( Kind of Cheese/ Wine Bar)
I love Grana so much! Everything is so good. We had the crispy potatoes and the garlic bread. So good! The new pasta with braised beef was incredible. The best part of Grana is the family feel.
It’s always great at Grana. Consistently great food and great service!
Delicious food. Nice wine list. Terrific staff. Highly recommend the meatball flight.
My first visit. From reservation, welcome by the manager who always was moving around to creat this perfect experience, host girl, the roof with controlled temperature, the right music, drinking Italian beers while waiting the best Burrata and Oven Garlic- Parmesan Bread and finally enjoy the great Italian style pasta. Grana is a cool option, valet parking is super efficient, location perfect and it’s big enough for groups. Thanks to our excellent waiter, she always knew when was a right time to ask or act. Of course I will come back!
Great food and atmosphere. Definitely worth the price. A good wine selection and appetizers were great too.
Fun night out, great menu, professional staff.
Hostess said sitting outside would not be good. She as wrong. Caught a cold. Portions were small and menu prices way to high. Food was comparable to Eats, which is where we should have gone. Noise level outside almost ON Cheshire Bridge was high and annoying. Outside heaters did not provide adequate heat.
I had the bronzino and it was awful. The girl tried to bone it but there were so many bones I only at a few bites. Broccoli is ok pretty greasy. Cesar Salad was vg and the Seafood pasta was vg too. Eating by the fire pit is nice.
The Brussels sprouts are an absolute must try! Service was fast and food was really hot and delicious. I’ll be back for sure!
Incredible service, food, and experience!!
Grana was an all around excellent experience. The food was delicious - everything we had was perfect. Loved the meatball flight! Can't wait to go back.
Loved it! The food was outstanding. You can tell the pasta is hand made and so fresh. The only reason I did not give it five stars was because of the very limited menu. There was very little to choose from that didn't contain meat. I asked if any of the dishes could be made without the meat and was told no. Surprising since it's all cooked so freshly. The menu was also missing many traditional Italian staples that you can get in most places. However, I got the gnocchi which was meatless and to die for. None of us had anything left on our plates afterward which is unheard of for me. Drinks and cannoli's (crunchy and delicious) were very good too. It was too cold to enjoy the rooftop but I can't wait to go back when it's warmer. GM Nick was very welcoming and accommodating. We had to laugh when our waitress's menu suggestion was an app, meatball flight, entrees, a pizza and dessert. That was a bit over the top (and it was obvious that she was trying to sky rocket our bill) but we loved our entrees and will definitely return to try that pizza and rooftop! Plus I'm already craving the gnocchi again! Probably the most authentic Italian food I've eaten. Excellent.
Excellent food and service
We made reservations. Got there early (30 mins early) and the hostees forgot to seat us. She made 5 parties come in and get seated before I got back up to the desk to remind her that we were still waiting. It was extremely frustrating because the reason for me making the reservation was so I didn't have to wait 40 mins and my family could eat before 9 PM.
I just don't understand how you forget someone who has a reservation.
Grana is always a good choice! Ordered the gemelli pasta - amazing. Meatball flight and make-your-own cannolis are super fun as well.
Food was incredible and staff was exceptional. Thanks to a Brody and the upstairs bar crew for a great night.
The food was fantastic and really liked the vibe. Slightly noisy but not unbearable.
Great food and very reasonably priced. I've been here several times in the past year and haven't been disappointed by anything.
Our server was really helpful with wine - bonus was that we appreciated that she wasn’t trying to just sell the highest price point.
Food was delicious and the heaters made the rooftop a really nice escape.
Only comment is that you need grips on stairs. Kind of dangerous.
Best Italian in Atlanta!
Good and service is ALWAYS outstanding!!
I made a 9pm reservation for dinner to celebrate my cousin’s 24th birthday, as she was in town visiting. We arrived at 8:50-8:55 and the hostess told me they were cleaning off the tables. The restaurant looked busy but there were a few open tables on the main floor. We waited for about 15 minutes and then I asked the hostess if they were still cleaning the table & she replied “Yes.” Nothing else. So I return to my party and continue to wait for another 15 minutes and return t o the hostess stand and she says “Oh, they’re putting glassware on the table now.” I continue to wait another ~20 minutes until we were finally seated at 9:38pm…… for a 9p reservation for 4 people.
Visited Atlanta and came here over the weekend. Indoor decor was very pretty but the food fell horribly short. We ordered pizzas—based on recommendation from server. Pizzas came out flavorless and soggy—even after requesting a crispy crust. I’ve had better tasting pizza at Blaze. Afterwards went to the rooftop just to get a look and was treated extremely rude by one of wait staff. The female employee treated us like we were criminals just for walking up to the roof. We just wanted to see the view and check for availability to sit and have drinks. Didn’t happen. We left and will NEVER return. BEWARE
Wonderful service, great recommendations from waiter, and great ambiance for having some drinks and catching up with friends! Rooftop was also beautiful on a cool Fall evening, and plenty warm with the heaters and fire pits. Looking forward to being back!
Slow service, food was mediocre. Ambiance was loud and the restaurant layout was crowded.
Endless stars for Grana and White Bull. The food is always just what I want, even if I don’t know what I want.
Only weird aspect was that we made a reservation, and the hostess essentially told us that reservations don’t matter. They check people in as they come, so people without reservations were seated before us. Reserved for 8pm and was seated at 8:35-40. Everyone is short staffed right now, and I don’t mind waiting; however, this stance on reservations is very odd. What’s the point in making one?
Despite that minor hiccup, this place is still one of my top 5 favorite restaurants in Atlanta.
Great wine selection, great prices on wine. Actually just met a colleague for drinks, so no food to review, though the food is always great in the past. It did take a while to get our check, though. I know the labor market is tough but Grana is usually GREAT service. Just 4 stars this time. Love Grana though!
Beautiful restaurant with nice rooftop eating area with great heat lamps. The menu is fairly limited to meatballs, pizza and pasta - all of which are fairly expensive. That said, the food was very good and atmosphere also very good
WOW! Pastas were incredible, pizza was delicious...Drinks were strong! Canolis out of this world....what more to say
Went to Grana to celebrate our wedding anniversary early and we were highly impressed. From the hostess, to the bar, to the brussel sprouts appetizers to the meatball flight. It was all good!
We stopped in for brunch. The food was fantastic. Would highly recommend all three of these dishes to anyone.
Shrimp and Polenta, Pumpkin Donuts, and Fried Chicken/toast.
Wow - it was so good.
Grana never disappoints me with their food selection, price point and service. I took my parents here for dinner and we enjoyed the The Meatball Tasting as an appetizer and we split the Gnocchi Sorentino and Cappelletti pastas, as well as the Pizza Alessandro for main course. It all was so flavorful and delicious. The only thing that made the night better was the candied pecan cannoli we all split at the end. Service was prompt and the atmosphere was delightful and warm. I cannot wait to return to try more!
Second time visiting- the first time was for my nieces bridal luncheon - this time I came with my friends. The wait staff and manager are extremely knowledgeable about the menu and it shows that they actually train their staff - we were guided through the menu - started with appetizers - toast with burrata, meatball flight and brussel sprouts are a must have - pizza and pasta were also incredible . As a bonus you learn Italian in the bathroom
Will be back again - we’ll worth the drive from the burbs
Amazing first experience. Can’t wait to come back!
Our server was fantastic! We asked her recommendation which wine pairs well with our food. The wine was perfect. I forgot which wine it was :(. We ordered the calamari, the truffle pizza with added sausage, and the CAPPELLETTI (their seasonal fall pasta). The food was great! It was a very nice evening dining experience for dates or get together with friends!
We had a reservation for seven at 7pm on a busy Friday night, we were happy to be seated right away despite a large crowd waiting. Our server was friendly and attentive with great suggestions on wine and food - we loved everything. The burrata toast, broccoli, meatball flight, Tagliatelle, and sweater weather pizza were my favorites, but we honestly enjoyed everything. Wine list was unique and nice to try new things, we got great suggestions from our server and really enjoyed the reds and whites we had. Brussels and Calamari were a little too salty but not a huge deal. Will definitely go back soon!
Great service, amazing food. Went for my birthday and they went above and beyond accommodating my group and explaining their awesome concept of being Southern Italy inspired
Fantastic meal last night, waiter was outstanding with his recommendations and the food was awesome. I could have ordered everything from the appetizer list.
