   The Happy Hour food was delicious and served promptly. Drinks arrived quickly and our amazing server, Shawn, was very attentive at replenishing drinks and additional food. It started to get really noisy after 5:00 when the place was packed. I recommend going at the start of Happy Hour if you enjoy quieter ambience.

   Loved the Quinoa bowl and I added grilled chicken. My husband had the burger. Started at bar, bartender was very attentive, friendly and efficient. Moved to table by window for dinner.

   Server was very attentive without being disruptive to our intense table conversation. Food could have been hotter. Music and ambience were great!

   Although we had a reservation for a high table, which was the only table available at the time of my reservation, they were nice enough to understand that it was my Valentine's date and gave us a better lower seating table. The food, special cocktail and service was amazing and I'd definitely go back. Thank you Grain Tasting Bar Team for making our evening wonderful.

   I would definitely recommend this place for drinks and trying new things. The service was also wonderful! But the food really let us down. We tried the steak for like 45$ or something and it tastes like 5 dollars maybe. No flavour. Cheap veggies and way too much butter. Kinda sad. The dessert was expensive, some of it was good some just repetitive and boring… So drink: yes Service: yes Food: no, expensive and not good

   My wife were in town for Dine Out Vancouver. We made plans to meet up with friends of ours after our brunch, and as we walked up Burrard on our way to brunch, my wife spotted the Grain Tasting Room sign. Since we are from the valley with an abundance of craft breweries, we immediately made a same day reservation for 3pm online. Grain Tasting Room was just one of over 10 spots we intended to hit while in town and it did not disappoint. The beer selection and wine options on their flight menu were great. The view of lower Burrard did not disappoint and our server was so engaging. The restaurant wasn't busy at 3pm as they had just opened and she engaged us and interacted at length when she wasn't helping other guests. We didn't hide the fact that we had a dinner reservation at 6:45pm elsewhere and she recommended lots of great drink options and food without hesitation, and we took her up on all of them. I would go back to Grain Tasting Room on my next visit into Vancouver without hesitation.

    Food not up to par for 4 star Hyatt Hotel. Drinks were good - food was not. Wife described as ‘jar of sauce’.
