Grafton Street Pub and Grill
The staff was truly accommodating! We had two disabled members of our party and they gave us a booth in the rear that accommodated my son's wheelchair and had space to store my mom's walker. The service was great as was the food. Highly recommend!
Our server was very attentive and helpful. As people who don’t eat red meat and have a couple food allergies, we found the menu pretty limiting. It’s a fun location with a mix of students and other adult customers.
The waitstaff took impeccable care of our party of 7. I also left an envelope at the table mistakenly and the waitress called me when I was only a block away to alert me that I had left a check at the restaurant. When I returned I realized it was only an envelope from concert tickets. Nonetheless, the waitress did hesitate to notify me immediately.
The food was beautifully presented in a timely manner and was scrumptious!! Such a great place with the large windows open in the front as well.
A fun and crowded Friday night out on the patio. Food and drinks were quite good.
Didnt have available a particular wine on menu, or a good substitute for it. Service was very spotty this time
I’ve been to Grafton a few times and I love the food and drinks. This time, I ordered the burger and it was amazing. We had to wait almost an hour for our food to be served, but it was worth it. Our waiter was not the greatest, however service is normally good.
Food was delicious . Waitress provided very spotty service. Loved sitting outsidr
Very good food and a pleasant atmosphere
A nice spot to get to when your in Harvard square, love the little charm on the outdoor seating and the updates decore in the restaurant. Such a great selection of oysters. Pizza really was amazing pulled pork for the win!
Surprise bday for my pop!
Went for brunch with friends. All the signature cocktails were delicious and all the food was cooked perfectly. A perfectly poached egg is the sign of an excellent brunch place!
Even with a party of 8, Christian as usual, provided excellent service, which is why we generally ask for him. He’s always very attentive even when he’s got multiple tables around us, and that evening was no exception.
The food and the atmosphere was great as usual. Thanks again for a great dinner, especially while we had family visiting.
Ate outside with family, friends and dog. Perfect.
The Grafton Street Pub and Grill is my go-to place when I attend shows at the ART's Oberon Theater, just a block away. If it's a lovely day, you can sit outside. In the many times I've been there, it's been quiet enough for normal conversation even when the restaurant is busy. The service is always attentive and they make sure we're out the door in time for our show. My dinner/theater partners and I can recommend the ricotta gnocchi (appetizer or entree portion), the burger, the fish fry, and the ploughman's cheese and meat board. For Cambridge, the drinks are very reasonably priced as well. AND Grafton offers free parking just a block away. Highly recommend.
Service was very good and Harvard Square ambiance very nice. There is street seating which is fun. Food is ok - not amazing but not bad either.
Lovely day to be seated outdoors. Food was good, as usual.
Food was uneventful, was ok but not much taste on it. Service was good and quick.
We had a great time but I wish the lighting wasn't so dim. The outdoor seating looked ideal, but have they considered turning the lights up in the actual restaurant?
A great spot for brunch. Had great food and good service.
They did put us in the back where it was quieter. The service was attentive and the food was solid.
Nachos were pretty minimal. Bar tender mixed some pretty bad drinks. Everyone was very friendly and service was great! The culinary experience was definitely sub par though.
Chicken didn’t have much seasoning or flavor to it at all, and one guest asked for a well done burger but got medium well.
Great atmosphere and food. Very helpful and friendly weight staff
Quality here has been variable for a few years. We love the ambience, servers are always friendly, but the menu quality is really up and down. We've long regarded the humus appetizer as reliable. On our last visit the humus (good as always) was buried under the largest pile of deep fried pita chips I've ever seen! The portion of humus appeared to be far smaller than before, the fried pita overwhelmed the plate. Both gnocchi main course plates were served lukewarm - nothing in the plate was piping hot (the way pasta should be served), and both my companion and I remarked the gnocchi were "dense" and almost none of the promised broth was in the plate. Can't recommend this dish either. On a recent trip for lunch, the veggie burger was yummy, so I'd hoped food quality was back up again. Sadly, not.
Our favorite place in Harvard Square! Food and drinks are excellent.
Great restaurant! Can't believe it took me this long to actually visit, but the outdoor seating was what finally drew me in, and I'm really glad it did. Great food, great portion sizes for the value, great service, and dining on the sidewalk of Harvard Square always means dinner and a show.
Great food and great wine selection!
Located close to Harvard, it's a frequent dinner location for family visiting Harvard students.
Hadn't been here for a while, so I surprised to see how far it had fallen. Usually this place was pretty reliable re food quality, but not this time: I got the appetizer of hummus with za'atar-flavored chips, but there was no discernible za'atar at all: The za'atar was the only reason I ordered that appetizer. The duck was hard and chewy, which is remarkable (and bad) for duck. The chicken was moist (good) but pretty tasteless (not good). The hostess sat us next to a large open window, even though it was pretty cool out (lower 60's), without asking whether we wanted to eat outside (we didn't) or near the open large window (we didn't). This evening did not hold a light to the Grafton Street in the past.
Great time this past Wednesday evening. Would go back again.
We had friends coming in from out of town - looking to do brunch in/near Harvard Square. Wanted outdoor dining option. Sadly it was raining, so we sat inside. Very nice ambiance, decor. While there were great parts of the meal (great Irish breakfast) - but service was really downright awful. Waitress seemed very aloof and distracted. My wife's coffee came out COLD! Cold coffee was just sitting there during a busy brunch time - how could that even happen? My eggs were a little runny - but not overly terrible. Tea pots came out - but no milk. Took a long time to get extras like milk - or my missing fork. I had to go hunting to get things. It was a drag to have such a mediocre experience - especially when we were trying to show off Cambridge. :-(
Great meal before a concert. Fast service and they take reservations! And they have free parking nearby with a reservation- a wonderful surprise for Harvard Square. Five of us- all enjoyed our meals and drinks. New waitress but she managed extremely well. It’s loud in there, so we had to shout to hear each other, but that’s pretty common on a Saturday night in Harvard Square. I’d highly recommend.
Great lunch & weekend brunch place. It's very comfortable inside, especially in the warmer weather when the large front windows are open. My only complaint is that sometimes the music gets in the way of having a conversation.
My wife and I went for Mother's Day dinner before a concert. The food was excellent. There was some confusion so that we received our entrees at the same time as our salads, but they kindly took the entrees back when requested. We were charged more for desserts and coffee than the menu said, but I didn't complain. Overall, it was a good event.
We had a big group and the restaurant was really accommodating. The food, drinks and service were all great and the location is convenient.
Server was really nice and great with helping me getting a meal I wanted . Strawberry cocktail was great !
Grafton street was a nice place to meet with a group near Harvard square. Salmon was delish. Our waitress was very friendly but service was a little slow even though the restaurant wasn't super busy.
They did a great job on a very busy day (Easter brunch). The food was fresh and tasty. The service quite good. We were sitting inside but next to the open patio doors - quite lovely. It was a little loud due to the number of patrons, but that is to be expected. I would return.
Dined at the pub for Easter brunch. Food and service was overall an average experience. I ordered eggs Benedict with the eggs poached medium and the hollandaise sauce on the side. The eggs came as it’s own side which I thought was odd and had to be returned as they were not done medium. The English muffin while nicely toasted had not been buttered and the ham was on the side of the plate, not on the English muffin. Two other diners had their eggs Benedict prepared perfectly. Not sure why my special request was so difficult to follow. The home fries were very good and prepared with red peppers and onions which added to the flavor. Later I ordered a cappuccino which was brought to me with no spoon or offering of sweetener. Server would check in with one person at the table and then not ask any of the others if they needed anything else. We were four diners, not one.
