This restaurant has potential. The patio is exceptional and the wait staff was friendly. The food was average. The Charcueterie board and cheese board were disappointing. The cheese board had three types of cheese and we were given 1 cubic inch pieces. The burger was a good size and the ravioli was actually amazing. The ambience inside is nice but extremely loud, so the patio is the way to go for quiet conversations. Beef up the appetizers and make your burgers stand out and this will become a gem
While the food in general and the cocktails are ok could the cooks p,ease change the fry oil?? The French fries and other things deep fried come out brown and over cooked sign of old cooking /fry oil.
Service was very good did not wait long for meal.
I liked grafton when I was here for dinner. Went for brunch, all three of us felt the meal was lacking. No wonder it's packed at dinner time and pretty empty at brunch
I started with the beet salad which was great but really small for $12. I then ordered the plantain encrusted mahi mahi, which was outstanding, especially the rum sauce. For dessert we got a blondie brownie sundae and the blackberry peach cobbler, both of which I tried. The cobbler was pretty good, but the brownie tasted kind of powdery and chalky. I would not order it again. For wine, I got the moscato. Tasted like an actual grape, really crisp and sweet. Overall very satisfied with my meal.
The food was good but l have to say that the chicken wings were very spicy and that was not mentioned in the menu. If that could be mentioned, it would be great. Otherwise, everything else was good. The service was the best and the ambiance was relaxing. All in all a restaurant l would recommend.
We went for the Dine Out menu. They had ran out of the app I wanted. The Mahi Mahi was a tiny piece dry and bland. The dessert was... ok.
We’ve been there before and the food was better. If you’re going to offer a discounted menu don’t skimp just because you want to make a profit. It lowers the overall level and impression of the restaurant.
Great lunch. Bad fries though. Very good dinners with a variety of choices. Good location. Absolutely the best, spiciest jalapeño infused vodka that I have ever had. It will wake you up.
Calamari was super fresh if a little greasy! Generous portions.
My 2nd dining experience there and was just as bad as the first time. Took 5-10 minutes to get water to the table. 10 minutes to get our drink order although we were near the bar. Ordered appetizers and table was not cleared when our meal arrived 10 minutes later that we were holding the plates while the meal was set on the table. After dinner ended our waiter who was semi attentive throughout the night walked by 5 times (each time looking at the table) before finally stopping after we flagged him down on his 6th walk by attempt. Our check came within 5 mins and it took another 3 minutes for him to bring the change back. He is very lucky that my date will still give the 20% after I pleaded with him for the poor service we were provided. I will think hard on whether we want to dine here again.
Good experience. Nice sports bar. Eggs Benedict were very good. Pancakes were good also. Would definitely go back.
Great service with average food. Fun ambiance with large TV screens to watch live sports.
5 star wait- staff: wait staff was highly attentive without being intrusive. She was Speedy and efficient and remembered who placed each app, drink and food order.
But, for such excellent service, the food was a huge disappointment! Started with a hard, 1950s style white flour roll. Salad - dressing was way too sweet. Soup was excellent, but a bit cold. Main course choices included no true vegan items except a burger, and most fish items were heavy and/or meat- laden ( salmon with meat and spaetzle?)
Great restaurant for some beers and soccer game
Food was very good, but service was awful. Food runner dropped our food off and we never saw our waitress until she dropped off the check. When we left, she was standing around watching the soccer game.
Food and service was great. Ambience excellent!
Horrible service and really poor food. Initially I ordered a Reuben. After the waiter came back to the table to tell me they were out of Ruebens. I then ordered the steak cheese sandwich. I specifically asked him if this was like a Philly cheese steak sandwich to which he replied yes. When my order came to the table I was surprised at the slop that sat before me on my plate. I had some steak with a little cheese in between two pieces of toasted white bread. Yuck!
In addition we had to wait an extraordinary amount of time for every part of our dinner. We’re from San Diego. The restaurants are all good, and even though the restaurants are busy the wait staff can handle their tables.
I would not go here again.
Food was excellent. Bathrooms were filthy.
Hostess accommodated is outside, even after we had settled for inside and started ordering appetizers.
The service was outstanding. The menu was disappointing limited (more drinks than food); maybe that's their new direction.
The waitstaff was terrific. They were patient and kind with our three year old dining companion. The food was delicious and fresh.
Hope to be back when we return to Cambridge.
The experience was good overall, due mostly to the attentive staff's quick and affable resolution to a series of problems that arose throughout, relating, I am sure, to the restaurant's being clearly understaffed. Cappucino was cold and happily replaced with a full replacement. Service was verrrrry slow, so basket of good rolls to tide us over was free. Egg white omelette was undercooked and quickly replaced and ultimately very good. Everyone else's meals were terrific. Thank you to an attentive, pleasant, and overworked staff. I hope the management is making some additional hires for both front and back of house.
Halfway through eating her veggie burger, my friend found a long hair in it. I had an omelet which was ok - somewhat flavorless. The waitress was very upset, immediately reported it; the hostess or manager came to our table to apologize. They didn't charge us for the sandwich, but felt they should have not charged us at all - it was a small bill.
Having arrived late to Cambridge area that evening, we wanted someplace relaxing for a drink and some much needed dinner. A full bar menu made getting the drinks we wanted easy, but we were surprised by the great quality of the meal. The mussels appetizer was fantastic and the meatball appetizer was plenty to split for two. So good!
My favorite go-to on the Square. Reliable, consistenrly seasonally delicious .
Great place. Great food. Great ambiance. Friendly staff. Mediocre service.
Went there before a 7:30 performance at American Repertory Theater.
We had a table in the back for lunch but it was SO HOT and the waiter told us there was nothing he could do because the AC was broken. As we left, we realized the front of the restaurant was significantly more comfortable with tons of free tables which was super frustrating!
We were extremely disappointed with our dinner last Sunday evening. As frequent visitors, we found Sunday's experience to be very poor. With a severely under-cooked burger, sewage-smelling scallops and a waitress who was both unapproachable and inattentive, we will not be going back. We tried to get our waitress's attention several times during dinner (while it wasn't even crowded) and she acted very cold when we finally got her attention and inconvenienced by our presence - so much so that when we received the poorly cooked food, we simply decided to just eat the sides and leave. Not sure if the team working on Sunday evening of a long-holiday weekend was the "B" squad in both the front of house and kitchen but we won't be coming back.
Service was great. We had a large group and they re-arranged things to accommodate us. Food was also delicious, everyone loved their meals.
Went here for an amazing Sunday brunch a few weeks ago and it was terrific. Came back for dinner with family after Bentley U. graduation and had a relaxed dinner and cocktails. The dinner menu wasn’t as enticing as the brunch menu but I enjoyed my apple and squash pizza and the fish and chips looked really good as well. Great pub vibe and atmosphere for drinks or a meal. Staff was friendly and there’s complimentary parking when you make an online reservation.
The food here used to be amazing so it was a little disappointing it wasn't as good as it used to be. It was still good. The calamari appetizer has different spices and was a bit overcooked. My fried chicken sandwich was also slightly overcooked. The drinks and service were awesome. Overall a great experience.
We were looking for a special place to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary on our trip to Boston. We arrived at Logan in the morning and made our way to Harvard. I was pleased to find the restaurant on the same street as two bookstores and across the street from the campus. Although it was cold and cloudy, it would have been nice to sit outside. The inside was lovely - and the food was exceptional. I had the Salmon BLT - best ever. Our waiter, Sam was great. He was funny, knowledgeable and made our dining experience outstanding. I would highly recommend this to anyone travelling or locals who want a great restaurant.
It was outstanding, particularly the service! Highly recommend
Thoroughly enjoyed the Mother's Day Brunch! The food was delicious and the service was excellent!
Average neighbor pub. No frills but does the job.
The place was good but the food was just okay. I ordered the tarragon chicken salad wrap. Good size portion but the tarragon was overwhelming. Couldn't taste anything else but tarragon
Brunch was pleasant enough and we were comfortably seated. We probably enjoy coming here more at dinner time.
Great service and excellent food, including salmon cooked perfectly, with attention paid to my allergies. Ryan was an excellent server, playful and conscientious, during a busy Friday night. The ONLY thing that marred an otherwise perfect evening was that, in the booth we were seated in, two of us threw our heads back while laughing and hit, very hard, the rail at the top of the booth. It was jarring, causing both of us pain, and leaving one of us with a significant bruise several days later. We mentioned it to several workers, who indicated it had happened before and who laughed the whole thing off. We would have preferred a response that indicated that steps would be taken to prevent future injuries.
I would definitely go again, but would ask to be seated in a chair!
Service was a little slow but overall a nice experience
