Grafton Street Pub and Grill
It was fine but nothing exceptional about it.
Great food and service. We had brunch and ordered a lot of food for a group of four- eggs Benedict, hash, pancakes and French toast. All delicious. Will be going back soon.
Casual easy place
Ok food and service . Large servings. The lighting was a bit dark for me
Ordered from the Dine Out Boston menu, a great value. Some of the pine nuts on my salad were rancid, but I was able to shake them off the arugula and eat most of the salad. The halibut, greens and potatoes as the main were phenomenal. The dessert wasn’t bad, but didn’t have much flavor.
The service wasn’t good at all
Great mussels. Burgers were terrific. Small menu but items were great.
I should first say the only good thing here was our server once we finally got seated. When I made the reservation I had put in notes our requests. We had a baby with us and while they had so many empty tables, they were not by any means trying to accommodate us. First gave us a table so tight we could not even get in to sit. Then when I asked the girl said that’s all they have. Then my sister in law went and spoke with the manager and they gave us another table but even then it was a tight spot. I understand when the restaurant is busy but it was not the entire upstairs salon was empty. And the girl who was sitting us was really rude making us stand while holding the baby and with an elderly. She could have asked us to sit then set the glasses etc. or at lease be nice about it. Our food took almost an hour and they said they are busy with an event. I asked that can they at least bring the kid order since he was starving and impatient waiting. Our waiter was nice and pleasant but the service overall was really poor. I use to go to this place often but this will our last time there until I hear from someone they have improved again.
The food and prices are good. There’s nothing unusual or too exciting about the food, but it’s consistent, pleasing to lots of tastes, and a nice atmosphere
We had a group of seven who enjoyed a lovely lunch after Hasty Pudding show on Sunday.
Wonderful food and service. Hope to return soon.
Brunch before hasty pudding show
Waitress never came back to see if we wanted more coffee, very important when having brunch
Prices very fair
always come here after an athletic event at harvard
Food and service were both great. Our waiter knew the menu very well since one of my friends asked a lot of questions regarding gluten-free items. I ordered the chopped salad and it was delicious. Everyone else seemed happy with their choices as well.
We've eaten many, many times at Grafton Street and enjoyed it every time over the past four years, so this was a definite disappointment by comparison to previous visits. Orders were mixed up, the timing of the dishes' arrival was scattered, and one entree had to be returned to the kitchen because a steak ordered medium arrived well done and looking like shoe leather. At least one entree and one dessert were no better than what one would get from a generic and far less expensive restaurant. I am surprised and slightly embarrassed, as this was supposed to be a special event for my son, his friend, and their parents.
We liked that the food was reasonable amounts (better just enough than too much). Beet salad was perfect. The Broccolini could have been a tad more tender, but the taste was perfectly seasoned. The biscuits with sweet cream butter were delicious.
Excellent food! Great atmosphere and fantastic ambiance. A really chill place to eat out. Great for young and old crowds alike.
We had not been to Grafton Street Pub and Grill for a while, and were gratified that it was as welcoming and comfortable as ever, with a varied-enough menu and nicely portioned delicious food.
Good service, excellent food. Nice little nook for privacy. Prices reasonable
We had a delightful Valentine’s Day dinner before going to a performance at the ART. Food was wonderful and the setting perfect for our night out. Great service too. Would definitely go back!
Grafton Street Pub is one of our favorites in Harvard Square. It has decent vegetarian options. They pour a good pint of Guinness.
This was the perfect place to have our Valentines Day dinner. The service was as great as always and the specials added to the menu for this day could not be passed up. We are glad one of our favorites could make this special day even more special. The atmosphere was also perfect.
Excellent service and excellent food and a good table reserved. Will be back!
Visited for a late brunch on Sunday afternoon. The French Toast and mimosas were very good and others at my table liked what they ordered. Service was adequate.
Best hamburgers in town! All food was delicious. Wait staff was very attentive.
Below average service but good food. Drink selection could be expanded a bit for brunch.
Grafton can be loud , but they do have quiet corners if you ask. The other positives are FREE LOCAL PARKING, which is great, and interesting cocktails. And service was attentive. Downside: food really not that good: unimpressive kale Caesar salad, okay Bolognese, small mussels, and the wines just weren't that good. Not a great dining experience, even though as a whole the restaurant tried
Outstanding location in Harvard Square for a quiet business lunch.
Always pleasant, lovely server, excellent food. It is a relaxing atmosphere and not too loud.
Nice brunch menu, good service. Atmosphere is a bit dark.
Always love having a good burger at this place. And have always had something good to eat here, and the service is always pleasant, competent and professional.
I had grilled salmon. The accompaniments were greasy. Salmon was great.
Good ambience, efficient friendly service, good selection of dishes
great location to grab a meal. went on a sunday night with the family and it was fairly quiet, as would be expected. Rice bowls were a hit, salads and burgers were also good.
Lovely meal before Revels!
We had a reservation, but no table was available for a while. What is the point of reservations if your table is not available? Good food, service, ambiance, but very noisy and some what rushed.
Decent beer selection and ok for a quick bite. Major advantage is free parking all evening in an adjacent car park.
Food no better than average.
Ploughmans plate was good, wings under seasoned...no sauce? Chowder was good but tepid at best. Burgers good....chopped salad bland. Dessert was also good. $200 for 4 ppl with cocktails. The Pinot tasted “fuzzy”....service was excellent! If the food was better, I would go back.
The Grafton Street Pub and Grill has various nooks and corners where one can dine comfortably and away from the louder area near the bar. It was a genuinely pleasant experience.
Great service for a large group.
Always our go to place when we are in the area for dinner. Energetic atmosphere and great options for everyone!
