As usual, the service and food was excellent.
Everything was perfect except for the fact that they should have had another server working. Our server was stretched thin with the number of tables she was covering so it took awhile longer than it should to get drinks, the check, etc. food was delicious, the table was in a great spot by the window, and everyone was friendly. Definitely would recommend!
We had a family Thanksgiving dinner outdoors. The heaters were great. It was a low key meal and that’s just fine. We did have to wait a long time for anything ordered to arrive. Overall it was a good experience. Members of the party said the short rib Thanksgiving special was excellent.
The staff was awesome. I mean awesome. We had a reservation of 8 and the initial placing would not work well for our party. Despite it being a crazy hectic full to the brim crowd and no reservations in site, the staff worked their magic and were able to move us to a better situation. Honestly they turned a doom and gloom type of situation into an awesome experience for all. Amazing.
The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. It’s nice to have Grafton back in town.
Food was fine, but disappointed that you didn’t offer decaf coffee.
Jake was a great server. We liked that our table wasn't on top of other people. I had the salmon with asparagus and squash. It was excellent. Drinks were a little weak.
We enjoyed meeting, and eating at Grafton Street Tavern. I had a salad, which was good, but it's hard to give a rave review of the food based on that. My friend's salmon looked yummy. The service was great. Friendly, kind and attentive. I'll return. Thanks.
Grafton Street has become a Harvare Square instutution. We're so glad they reopened after the pandemic shut down.
Classic meals, good beer and wine selection, friendly staff in a great atmosphere for brunch, burgers, or drinks with friends
Location, ambiance and food were solid. Service was definitely slow and uninvolved.
A great brunch with great service. So glad to have Grafton Street back.
Nice atmosphere, solid food, excellent service - a reliable standard!
I expected the wait staff to be a little slow and inattentive as they were probably all new since the establishment just reopened
Great to have Grafton's Pub open again in Harvard Square. We were in on a weekend night when it was busy and lively, as Before. The menu was similar, and all still good. I had the penne bolognese which was very good, but a LOT of meat. Draft beer selection is excellent with several good local brews.
Welcome back Grafton's !
Another great meal with superb service. Glad to have Grafton Street nearby.
Fun, casual atmosphere. Excellent service. Pub menu but done with a tasty twist. Would definitely dine here again.
Food was decent but portions were tiny
It was a o nice to be back to one of our favorite places. The menu has some slight changes and is even better than before. The service was just as good as always, and the atmosphere can’t be beat.
Great pub fare good beer list and an old world atmosphere.
The outdoor dining is well situated for people watching, without feeling over crowded. The patio is set back from the street with plenty of side walk between the tables and the street. They just reopened after the pandemic and all of the menu favorites are back. The fish and chips were outstanding and the nachos (which we didn't order) smelled so good as they passed our table several times that we wished we had ordered them. The service was attentive and unhurried. The staff seemed happy to be back--it was a great vibe.
It was fine but nothing exceptional about it.
Great food and service. We had brunch and ordered a lot of food for a group of four- eggs Benedict, hash, pancakes and French toast. All delicious. Will be going back soon.
Casual easy place
Ok food and service . Large servings. The lighting was a bit dark for me
Ordered from the Dine Out Boston menu, a great value. Some of the pine nuts on my salad were rancid, but I was able to shake them off the arugula and eat most of the salad. The halibut, greens and potatoes as the main were phenomenal. The dessert wasn’t bad, but didn’t have much flavor.
The service wasn’t good at all
Great mussels. Burgers were terrific. Small menu but items were great.
I should first say the only good thing here was our server once we finally got seated. When I made the reservation I had put in notes our requests. We had a baby with us and while they had so many empty tables, they were not by any means trying to accommodate us. First gave us a table so tight we could not even get in to sit. Then when I asked the girl said that’s all they have. Then my sister in law went and spoke with the manager and they gave us another table but even then it was a tight spot. I understand when the restaurant is busy but it was not the entire upstairs salon was empty. And the girl who was sitting us was really rude making us stand while holding the baby and with an elderly. She could have asked us to sit then set the glasses etc. or at lease be nice about it. Our food took almost an hour and they said they are busy with an event. I asked that can they at least bring the kid order since he was starving and impatient waiting. Our waiter was nice and pleasant but the service overall was really poor. I use to go to this place often but this will our last time there until I hear from someone they have improved again.
The food and prices are good. There’s nothing unusual or too exciting about the food, but it’s consistent, pleasing to lots of tastes, and a nice atmosphere
We had a group of seven who enjoyed a lovely lunch after Hasty Pudding show on Sunday.
Wonderful food and service. Hope to return soon.
Brunch before hasty pudding show
Waitress never came back to see if we wanted more coffee, very important when having brunch
Prices very fair
always come here after an athletic event at harvard
Food and service were both great. Our waiter knew the menu very well since one of my friends asked a lot of questions regarding gluten-free items. I ordered the chopped salad and it was delicious. Everyone else seemed happy with their choices as well.
We've eaten many, many times at Grafton Street and enjoyed it every time over the past four years, so this was a definite disappointment by comparison to previous visits. Orders were mixed up, the timing of the dishes' arrival was scattered, and one entree had to be returned to the kitchen because a steak ordered medium arrived well done and looking like shoe leather. At least one entree and one dessert were no better than what one would get from a generic and far less expensive restaurant. I am surprised and slightly embarrassed, as this was supposed to be a special event for my son, his friend, and their parents.
We liked that the food was reasonable amounts (better just enough than too much). Beet salad was perfect. The Broccolini could have been a tad more tender, but the taste was perfectly seasoned. The biscuits with sweet cream butter were delicious.
Excellent food! Great atmosphere and fantastic ambiance. A really chill place to eat out. Great for young and old crowds alike.
We had not been to Grafton Street Pub and Grill for a while, and were gratified that it was as welcoming and comfortable as ever, with a varied-enough menu and nicely portioned delicious food.
Good service, excellent food. Nice little nook for privacy. Prices reasonable
We had a delightful Valentine’s Day dinner before going to a performance at the ART. Food was wonderful and the setting perfect for our night out. Great service too. Would definitely go back!
Grafton Street Pub is one of our favorites in Harvard Square. It has decent vegetarian options. They pour a good pint of Guinness.
