Good as always. We enjoy going there and relaxing and having a great dinner. Service is good and it's nice and clean.
This was our second visit. Food was good, but service was not great. Both times.
Thank you for your review. I am sorry your service was not great, we work hard to make Gracie's a terrific experience all around. I believe I came to your table a few times to see if I could get you anything. You seemed unhappy, but did not mention anything in particular. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help. We always strive for happy customers, we are glad you like the food and we'd love to see you again to deliver great service. Please enjoy a free appetizer on me when you return! - Ami, Owner
Very appealing flavors. The Prime Rib Wednesday special was a great value.
This place is always wonderful!
We were not greeted by the hostess, she just stood there and looked at us. Should have taken the clue things weren’t going to go well. Ordered a glass of wine, which took 30 minutes to get. By 6:30 they had run out of an item ( they open at 4:30). Took an hour to get a bowl of soup and it was lukewarm when served. A manager asked several times about our drinks and food not arriving, but nothing changed. I had been here before with much better service. The wait staff is young and inattentive. Restaurant was not adequately heated.
Absolutely stunning venue in a great central location. They’ve taken an old building and breathed new life in an up in coming area.
Outstanding restaurant. Great ambiance, friendly staff, excellent location
Best place in town, and it’s not even close! Will absolutely be back.
I love this place, and my leftover steak was just as delicious the next day!
I found Gracie's on TripAdvisor. We were taking family to dinner after a funeral. We enjoyed the food and the ambiance. The service was excellent. Thank you!
Very loud, bright lights. No ambiance. My husband and son ordered the meatloaf and it was way too salty.
All five in my party had a very good meal with excellent service. The only negative was they did not serve a roll with the meal.
Loved the place - historic building with a story made into a very chic industrial meets bistro type interior. Food was very good but just shy of great. The charred brussels sprouts were excellent. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back.
We always enjoy dining at Gracie’s. The atmosphere is always welcoming and never rushed. Excellent cocktails, wine and beer selections. This time we sat on the patio. Perfect evening with friends.
Great place. The ambiance is very acceptable. The owner came by our table and chatted awhile which we thought was very special. It was a little noisy on the outdoor patio due to the traffic. Have made reservations to go back and experience other items on the menu.
The drinks where great. The sea bass was delicious. The chicken was salty, but still good. Service was great. We appreciated owner asking about the drinks.
Great food, friendly and welcoming staff. We sat outside on a great weather evening to celebrate two birthdays. My idea to go to Gracie's and everyone kept telling me what a great idea it was. We enjoyed sharing all the dishes and two free desserts. Didn't want the evening to end. We will be back.
It’s always great food and a great atmosphere. We love coming here for date night!
Cool place, close to theatre district. The waitress forgot to put in our order, so we waited an hour for entrees. The entrees were average, small in portion and over priced for location. Keep trying!!
Excellent food and outstanding service, even with a large party. Overall fantastic experience. Highly recommended.
Gracies is such a wonderful addition to downtown Middletown. The food is good, presentation is nice & atmosphere is awesome.
We were seated near the garage doors and servers kept going by our table over and over. We did move to another table. Our server was great, Mia. The food was good.
I have heard so many good things about this restaurant, especially when they first opened. Well, we finally made it here and I was so disappointed. Brussels for starters, soggy. Philly cheesesteak, barely any meat and a whole hunk of stale tasting bread to go with it. So disappointed. Gracie, you can do way better than that!
Our waitress Mia was super sweet and friendly and the manager (I’m assuming) stopped by our table as well and was also very nice. The food was delicious, although a little overpriced in my opinion. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and there was a young guy singing out back which was nice also, since it was a beautiful night. My only real complaint was where our table was located. We were seated directly next to the drink station so there were workers behind us constantly and could hear everything they said about other customers. One guy dropped a pitcher of water and some cups which of course made a mess. My feet/lower legs got wet, but not a big deal. He proceeded to mop it up and put a wet floor sign down, but once again it was a heavily walked area so all we heard was be careful..oops it’s slippery...woah didn’t expect that...etc for the majority of our meal. The back walls/windows were opened up so every waitress that was working outside walked by our table multiple times. My suggestion would be to remove that table completely. That way the workers had more room to get drinks and walk in and out. I’m a pretty easy going person, but almost requested a different table shorty into our visit. We will definitely be back, but will definitely request to be seated somewhere else.
The food was excellent. Our server was excellent and we had a party of twelve. Amie the owner was checking on us several times making sure we had a wonderful dinning experience. First time here and will definitely BE BACK!!!! The Brussels sprouts were OMG.
We have eaten here six times and have never had a bad experience. I like that they have a small selection and everything is first rate. They do change their offerings seasonally. The ingredients are high quality and the portion sizes are generous.
Interesting restaurant in Middletown, oh historical district. Choice of tall tables, regular tables or a pleasant (although some traffic noise) outside patio. Staff was very pleasant, greeted on entering by who I believe is management. Given choice of seating. Was moderately busy and would recommend reservations on the weekend. We shared the Brussels sprout appetizer which was delicious. I had the Tuna and appreciated that the server let me know they were out of spinach and would romaine be OK. My daughter had a hamburger that had a great description on the menu but she felt it was pretty small and ordinary, especially for the price. Decor and ambiance is causal metropolitan, the menu was varied and the specials sounded good. I would definitely return but at the price would not be a regular. Kudos to the visionary that saw what Gracie's could be and made it happen.
We had a great experience at Gracie's. The owner was really welcoming. The restaurant was a beautiful atmosphere, great food, and a great anchor restaurant to Middletown's revitalization.
We love going to Gracie’s. The food was excellent, great wine selections. It’s just a very cool vibe!
The food and staff are awesome!
It was nothing special. Most tables empty, yet they sat us next to the bathroom and waiter station. Whole experience felt like they were in a hurry to get us out of there. Something has changed at this restaurant and not for the better.
Great atmosphere, great service. Ahi was very good. Palmetto cheese balls appetizer was good. They could up the balls from 4 to 6 . Would definitely go back.
Gracie's has a small but amazing menu. The small menu allows them to focus on great food. It seems to be very farm to table type dining. The restaurant it's self is very quaint and decorated very nicely. It was the perfect location for our anniversary night out.
I really liked the environment. The deviled eggs were outstanding The rest of our food was not.
I’ll give them another try though.
Impromptu date night. Steak tenderloin skewers, main street chicken, housemate meatloaf and cheesecake were amazing! Great night for patio dining. Service was very good. Corner location in an area that looks to be getting improvements. Will definitely be back.
I sadly, our food was not good at all. My boyfriend ordered a steak ( Medium rare and it came out well done x’s 10. My gnocchi was cold . It took 30 minutes to get our drink .
The food, service, and place is absolutely amazing. I love coming to Gracie’s and seeing their food presentation and how great everything tastes!
Enjoyed Gracies for the second time (this was the first time eating outdoors). Ambience was interrupted by street noise but overall nice. All entrees were good except chicken which was overcooked and dry.
Desserts were all fabulous (Key Lime was superb).
Had dinner with friends on a Saturday night. Service was good, waitress was too busy a few times and we had to wait for something but, overall, the service was good. Note, I don't think I will ever like the group serving a lot of restaurants use today. Having a junior wait staff person show up and "auction off" our meals to who claims them at our table is annoying.
The cornbread appetizer was small, just kind of warm, and nothing special about the flavor. The other appetizers were very good. My caesars side salad was nothing special, maybe better than average cheese. All four of us thought our main meals were very good. I had the meatloaf and the flavor was excellent and the side servings were good.
The prices for the appetizers and side salad are on the high end, especially for the mediocre corn bread. Overall, the good food and good service made us all agree we'll probably come back.
This was our first visit to Gracie’s. We sat outside and got to listen to the band, which was very enjoyable. Service started out slow, but once we ordered, the service was better. We happened to dine on a night when there was a band. The band was good. The lead singer stayed in his vocal range which made the music enjoyable. We will definitely go back.
