    Mediocre food that took too long and came out lukewarm. Slow service and poor kitchen communication as my order was taken wrong and then multiple items weren’t available from the menu, all of which were ordered by my table. Expensive for the caliber of the experience. The restaurant looks as if it was half - finished in terms of its decor and layout. The bathroom smelled like a public toilet. Really unfortunate because I would’ve expected a better experience from the SFMoMA. Eating at MoMA in Manhattan far surpasses this experience.

    The service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff that answered questions and were very efficient. Everything we ordered was delicious, including the vegan items. It got a bit noisy but not as bad as many other SF restaurants.

    This interesting new place on the ground floor of SFMoMA has a lot of promise, I think they just need a little time to work out the kinks in execution. The setting is lovely and quiet enough for a good business lunch. The menu is fairly simple but with good quality ingredients and a well-balanced selection, and everything was tasty. The desserts stole the show. But they need a better order system than very inexperienced waiters scribbling on paper with a pencil, and someone should be checking the quality of dishes before they go to the tables (one dish for our table was not as ordered, and one arrived a bit burnt). I hope they will improve with experience... I would like to go back to see if they have smoothed out the rough spots in a few months.

    We went for a weekday lunch. Great service. Good burger. Good Cesar salad. The soup was served cold and the pot pie was runny and flavorless. Repeat, excellent service. The kitchen needs to work smarter.

    The space is lovely and quiet (on a Saturday). The food was delicious and creative (steak tartare and saffron mussels). We had a lovely leisurely lunch.

    Came here for a birthday lunch before a visit to the museum, and we were not disappointed. Amazing food that was almost too beautiful to eat and friendly, attentive service. Fantastic!

    This restaurant was a huge disappointment. They made us wait over a half hour for a table, then seated us on couches with no actual tables, just short stools. When we finally got a real table, the music was deafening and they refused to lower the sound. The food was very late in arriving and it came in parts, some finished before others were even served. The fish dishes were too raw and had to go back to be cooked. Then, having made us nearly an hour late to start our lunch, when we got near the end of the meal and wanted to order some more drinks, they said it was too late, the bar was closed until dinner time. Unbelievable!!!!

    Hello Mayor06, I do not believe the restaurant experience you are describing was at grace, which is located in the SFMOMA. We do not have ay couches or stools and our bar is open from 11:30-9pm with no breaks. Can you kindly remove this review.
