Grace Restaurant at the Carnegie House has been awarded for 10 consecutive years by State College Magazine the Best Fine Dining Restaurant and Best Romantic Restaurant!

As you enter the dining room through the French doors from the library, a feeling of warmth and elegance beckons you to enjoy leisurely modern trending dining. A bow window allows dinner guests to view the beautiful flowers that surround Carnegie House and the woods surrounding the golf course. China, crystal, and silver grace the tables on crisp white table linen. Servers are attentive in providing for the needs of the guests who dine on trend-setting cuisine.

We really enjoyed our dinner last night at grace. The menu is so much better than it was a few years ago which was the last time we dined there. Excellent service and everything we ordered was delicious.

We've had a number of dinners at Grace so it was not hard to convince our foodie friends from California to join us. The brisket and chicken dishes got excellent reviews. The two of us who ordered the Steak Frites, were woefully disappointed. The beef had good flavor, but tons of fat and mostly it just lukewarm. Very disappointing for a restaurant that typically we have found to be excellent. It even a bit embarrassing as we had raved about Grace to our fiends of many years who are true and well traveled foodies!

The staff at Grace are outstanding. We were celebrating our anniversary and they made it extra special. Emily, Steve and Paul went above and beyond to make the evening special. The service, food, and ambiance made our anniversary truly grand. Thank you to all of them.

The ambiance and service was excellent. The food was not what I expected. The amuse Bouche was cold and had no flavor. The crab cake was very nice and full of crab but I didn’t like the spice in the crab cake and the sauce. The bronzino was cooked well and the best thing was the pearl cous cous. It was very tasty with cherry tomatoes. My husband’s steak was rare as requested but didn’t have much flavor and was dry rather than juicy. The food was disappointing.

Food was fantastic. Service terrible. Waited too long for service throughout the evening. Did not have water filled or drink order taken for ? 15 minutes after being seated. At one point, was told "kitchen was backed" up (only 8 other people in restaurant). Gentleman at the door was great, matre d' excellent. Server very poor. Have been going to this restaurant for 35 years. Last night was extremely disappointing.

They seemed a bit understaffed as I heard our server tell one table that she was hosting/cooking/serving. Service was a bit slow but overall it was a lovely breakfast in a beautiful setting!
