   Very laid back & casual, come as you are atmosphere. The food was excellent and plentiful. I had the chicken sandwich which was very tasty. Burger was good and friends split the ribs and loved them. Family friendly and great place for a group.

   We came here for Sunday lunch after the Bath Marathon - the staff were so friendly and accommodating to our large group - some of who were late. Nothing was too much - absolutely excellent! And the food was delicious too - huge roasts and mega burgers... Thank you!

   The food here really is outstanding, but on this visit the service definitely needed improving. Despite requesting a highchair when booking it took them a good 20 minutes to find us one, not good when you have a 1 yr old trying to crawl out the door. Had to order all drinks at the bar, ask for bill at bar, pay at bar, etc as most people seemed preoccupied with a large party in the other room. Saw another table sit patiently with their bill for 15 minutes with nobody coming to take payment so they eventually got up and paid at the bar too. All of the staff were lovely and friendly, just didn't seem to be much communication (or enough of them). Think they may have been a couple of staff down, so I can forgive this as an off day, but I would debate taking my family again. On a positive note, the food is incredible and saved the day! The roast beef is one of the finest roasts I've had in a long time. Will be back definitely, but hope service is a bit better!

   We ate on a Sunday afternoon, there were only about 5 other tables occupied. The food was excellent, first class. But there was only one (very friendly) waitress working and the service was really slow. So if you're not in a hurry (we weren't, but the delays became really noticeable) then definitely eat here, but if you have somewhere else to be go elsewhere.

   We were welcomed out of the wind and driving rain,by a lovely bubbly young lady...and seated at a lovely warm table...the atmosphere here was wonderfully relaxing and we didn't want to leave....we both had deliscious burgers one with pulled pork and another with mouthwatering cheritzo .My son tried the peanut better and oreo cheese,which was a real winner ...we were served with drinks from the bar and finished off with a lovely hot chocolate!! Families and parties were all being catered for whilst we were there..and i cannot emphassise how lovely and chilled out we were....Thankyou..my son aged 11 said it was the best meal he had ever had!!! says a lot for my cooking!!!..lol

   A group of 9 of us visited GPT for my 40th birthday celebrations in October. The welcome and service received throughout the night was first rate. I'd read plenty about the quality of the ribs and burgers and none of us were dissappointed.

   The staff were friendly and when the food eventually arrived it was tasty. However we had to wait 45 minutes for starters and then Nother 30 mins for main and when our mains arrived they were incorrect orders. Plus they charged £28.95 for a bottle of prosecco. Would not go back.

   this is the 4th time we have visited the green park tavern and have always loved it food has been amazing but on this occasion the chicken, on the Sunday roast had a funny taste( we were told it was smoked) but still didn't taste right we complained but we're only given 30% of our money back,which I thought was a bit strange.also it's quite pricey for the amount your given( no good if your a big eater) and drinks are a appalling price I hope they read this and maybe it will improve.

   Great staff, very friendly and welcoming. Lovely venue, great atmosphere even on a Thursday night. Tasty food, very large portions, held it's own compared to other bbq restaurants and fairly good value.

    Booked this restaurant for an anniversary meal and loved the food. Burger type menu but done in a 'cheffy' manner, well presented, slightly different ingredients and very tasty. The staff were all very polite and friendly and reasonably attentive. Only downside was the restaurant is quite big and while one side of the restaurant was very busy we were away from everyone else in the aisle from the front door to the toilets. A couple of other diners were at there too but I don't recall any music being played and so we felt there was a lack of ambience. Would definitely recommend and happily return - perhaps with some friends though!
