   Was a nice experience. Nice setting minus some large tables are picnic table style which I don't favor for seating However, for the bowl portions were small and dinner companion complained they were still hungry after the meal. Then thought pricey was a bit higher than most of similar foods. Additionally, thought service a bit slow, distracted with waiting to be greated, drink orders.

    The black cod was cooked perfectly. However, the katsu fried pork loin was over cooked and lacked seasoning. Much of the sides were under seasoned.

    The concept of choosing your main entree from several choices is unique, and, the side dishes are good and tasty. The 'tempura' is light and crispy; the 'sashimi' was fresh and delicious.

    The waiter here was extremely polite and helpful, even when taking my food allergies into account. Everyone in our party of 5 considered the food great. Sides may have seemed a little small, but it was 3 sides in addition to a large serving of rice and miso soup at average restaurant prices for entrees. I would definitely recommend. Only downside was needing to pay for parking.

    Wow! I love this restaurant! So authentic , stylish and I felt like I was in Japan! The staff is wonderful and the food is healthy and delicious. I went back two nights in a row because I wanted to try so many things on the menu! For a real Japanese casual dining experience, highly recommend !!!

    Really lovely restaurant! We went for our anniversary and made a reservation last minute, but that was no issue. Walked in and our table was waiting for us. The service and food was excellent and the ambiance was calming. Overall would definitely come here again. Enjoyed my meal and my time!

    This is a very Japanese restaurant that is a rarity in the US. It's casual with high quality items on the menu. Reminds of many places I have been at in Tokyo. While the restaurant was not crowded the noise level due to small children was higher than an all adult crowd. So family friendly. Overall we enjoyed it may do take-out next time.

    Very expensive for this cafe style restaurant. Food is good but the portions is small for the price you paid. The bill was $115 for 2 people with 1 appetizer and 2 entree. You can go to a real restaurant for about the same price. Will not go back again.
