Group of 4 of us for dinner - Early bird was on all evening - Fantastic value at €28 for 3 courses including a drink. Service was excellent, food was very tasty. Will be back.
Fabulous food really enjoyed it everyone happy with their food, service was a bit slow when we were there one of the staff mentioned there was a lot of staff off that particular weekend. But overall a lovely time was had.
Fabulous ambience, food was delicious and the staff very attentive... Definitely will return
Brought my 2 cousins for brunch as a treat
waitress was very pleasant ,ordered 3 breakfasts which were brought to our table within minutes, looked good but could tell straight away that they had not being just cooked , that everything had being reheated ,certainly not fresh, very disappointed , was certainly not going to make a fuss & complain in front of my guests was just glad to leave the restaurant at that stage
Very good food as always, the staff are very friendly and the food is always high quality.
Food was very nice - the Chorizo Meatballs starter was the winner - it was delectable!
Although the staff were very FRIENDLY, the service itself was shockingly bad - seemed there were plenty of staff around so not sure how it was so bad, but we had to wave a waiter over after 15 minutes seated to order. Our starters came out before we even got our drinks. Any further drinks ordered took about 10-15 mins to arrive. Our mains also came out before fresh cutlery was on table, no big deal but they didn't cop themselves and to have to ask them to bring more was a bit much. The worst part though was being seated upstairs --- just a few tables and we were sat next to a large 50th birthday party - it was like a function room up there and like we were crashing someone else's party. I had pre-booked the table for 6 days before, it wasn't like we were a walk-in. We believe the manager seated us upstairs as we had 1 child with us (there we no children seated downstairs at all) and it was as if anybody that walked in with a child was shunned upstairs to the strange function room area. Doesn't seem very fair as i think if a booking is made you should get a nice table in the restaurant, nothing wrong with well behaved children - was quite disappointing and we felt quite discriminated against. A final plus was the bathrooms, lovely soap and hand lotion scents and aroma diffusers around!
Food was brilliant, as always. However, service that day was substandard.
We had to request for water 4 times to 4 different waiters before we were finally given one. They keep on getting interrupted and then would forget the request that we made. Is water that easy to forget? I don't think so. In fact, it should be served as a basic commodity.

Very good service as usual. We were seating upstairs nicer part of the restaurant in my opinion. Food was lovely and service great.
Staff friendly but the service isn't great. Food is average.
We three were assigned a table upstairs beside a party of thirty on one side and another party of twelve on the other side. We found it very difficult to converse above the very noisy hubbub. We should have been assigned a table downstairs. Experience should inform staff not to do this?
Nice spot for Sunday brunch. Food was good. Staff were nice, but not especially friendly. We sat upstairs & it was a bit chilly. Would go again.
Food was great as always. Just always a bit too loud. Too many hard surfaces to dull down the chatter and clatter.
Tasty food and friendly service in a really lovely setting, with lots of greenery to be seen through the big windows.
From the moment we arrived everything was lovely staff were so nice food was excellent will definitely be back

The service was terrible. Other tables who were in after us, got served before us. We had to ask where our food was, it was taking so long. They prioritized people in work wear however we were trying to have lunch before a flights so we were also pressed for time!! They also brought us out the wrong sandwich. As we were waiting for so long, my companion didn't even realise she was so hungry. It was the staff that came out with another sandwich and informed her it was the wrong one. I complained to the staff at the end but as we were so pressed for time to get to airport, I didn't speak to manager. Very dissappointing. Food wise - both our sides we're missing their dips as we're out children's food. Again, didn't bother asking for them, we were in so much of a rush to eat. We had left a good 2 hours to get to airport recommended time.. Its a shame that wasn't enough because of the service as we were eating into the 2 hours before our departure
We have been many times but yesterday's experience was not good. I booked a table for 10.30, it took us 20 minutes for someone to take our order (they were busy but people came in after us and were served before us, we had to ask a waitress to take our order). Our order came an hour later and was wrong so they had to change it, it was almost 2 hours from arrival to when we got our order (11.50 when it was finally given to us, we were contemplating just leaving at that stage). I was very disappointed as we have visited a number of Gourmet Food Parlour outlets (including Santry) and always had a good experience.

A bit of a Fawlty Towers, so dear, over charged by fifteen euro, shown to wrong table, treated as if I was stupid, tables and chairs ready for the dump, a hair on my bread

Excellent food, quick service, despite a packed full restaurant. All staff (and there were quite a few!) are friendly and very capable. No issues whatsoever. Would happily visit again and again.

The service wasn’t great. We were waiting far too long before our order being taken, food came out in good time but plates were left on our table too long after finishing. A coffee ordered by someone never turned up and staff were really too busy to give the attention and service we would expect. Again nearly impossible to get the staffs attention when anything additional required. Food was nice but unsure about a return visit.

Another really good experience but feedback on slow delivery of tea and coffee to go with brunch. Suggest another one or maybe two staff on drinks service.

Usually have a really positive experience at this restaurant but on Sunday 22nd Sept we were left waiting an hour and a half between our starters and main course. The waiter had been really nice and helpful but came nowhere near us in that hour and a half until we asked him for the update on our food.

The setting is lovely, the food is nice but the service is dreadful. We were left waiting 10 minutes to order, I ordered the burger, the menu states it will take 15 minutes. Our wine arrived just before our food, it was left on our table unopened. We had to ask twice before someone came to open it. We went out for my husbands birthday and overall it was a disappointing experience.

Aware that we were there at a busy time, but service very slow in taking order. Food arrived and table hadnt been laid with cutlery. Items omitted from order too.
Service always a bit slow on Sat am. Often forget to bring something then waiting for a while seems like new staff and not enough on duty
Gourmet Food Parlour was understaffed on the night. Food was nice, small portion for a main course. Was asked if we would like to see dessert menu, waited approx 30 minutes to get it. Then waited another 20 minutes after I asked for the bill. Went to the till & paid, we left 3 hours later. Was asked was everything ok, I said service was extremely slow. No response, it wasn't acknowledge. Realised the next morning I was overcharged I had ordered off the early bird menu & obviously was charged differently. Very disappointing experience.

I do enjoy Gourmet Food Parlour for lunch.. Our Waitress was excellent and very attentive.
We were upstairs and the noise level was much better as sometimes downstairs can be very noisy!
