   We usually have a great experience here with great service. But today we were left waiting around for our table, had to get up after some time and get the attention of staff to get our food order although the place was not busy at all. When asked for cutlery we got tossed forks (not even placed neatly beside us) with no knives to which we were told the knives were in the dish washer. Not impressed today which is a shame because again, we usually do have a great experience.

   We are big fans of Gourmet Food Parlour, regularly visiting Swords and Malahide. When no table was available in Swords, we booked Santry instead. While the service was friendly as always, it fell short this time. We ordered 3 Farmhouse Plates, a Kickstart Breakfast, and 2 kids' pastas. The food arrived very quickly — but drinks were still being prepared, meaning half our table had eaten before drinks even arrived. We had to request water separately just to have something available. The food itself was edible yet disappointing: the Farmhouse Plates and Breakfast clearly had been pre-prepared. Black pudding was dry, poached eggs were overcooked, and the "overnight" tomato was hard and flavourless. The relish has changed too and isn’t nearly as good as the Ballymaloe usually served. Kids’ pasta was switched from penne to linguine without notice, making it difficult for the children to eat. When children were promised ice-cream, only vanilla was available — and two ice-creams were mistakenly added to our bill. While the staff were doing their best under pressure, the experience reflected rushed kitchen prep and a shortfall in service. We love Gourmet Food Parlour and hope this feedback helps bring the usual high standards back.

   Food was lovely, I got the breakfast bap which was very tasty and hit the spot. I also got a delicious espresso martini for dessert Amazing atmosphere and I was very well looked after by the bubbly waiter Tea. 10/10 would recommend!

   Food was delicious as always. Table and seats could have been a little cleaner. Crumbs from previous customers remained. But other than that, everything was perfect.

   The place is lovely and food is tasty .The staffs are very nice and accommodating!We really enjoyed our meal!

   Good service, good food , we sat in the outdoor area, which was pleasant. I would avoid busy times if possible as we had to pay for parking in nearby hotel carpark as Food Parlour car park was full.

   Food was good. Service was great. But interestingly - I was charged for Parmesan cheese to put on my pasta. Go figure!

    Our experience in your Santry restaurant today was amazing from how quickly our order was taken, the service and the food was delicious!! We were under time pressure so this was ideal!! Can't wait to visit again ☺️
