   Music playing is corny, this explains my rating. Not a great ambiance. Waiters were top class. One in particular went over and beyond, forgot to get his name. Food was plentiful and delish. Will definitely be back, please turn off that horrible "Relaxing Restaurant Music"

   Had a lovely meal, tranquil,relaxing and pleasant ambience. Staff were very attentive and kudos to the young gent who waited on us. Impeccable manners- we’ll be back!

   Staff are really lovely but the service is so slow, i have been for Saturday breakfast, Sunday lunch & pre Christmas evening dinner with different groups & we all said it as each time was the same. There seems to be plenty of staff but it takes ages to catch their attention & it’s frustrating when you’ve already asked for what you’re looking to try & catch their attention again as they have forgotten you. Food is nice but twice the chicken wings had barely any sauce & pancakes barely any maple syrup so it’s not just a once off. It’s a gorgeous setting & as I said staff are lovely but they definitely need to step it up a bit.

    First visit to GFP, looked promising. Sadly, not a great dining experience. Restaurant was busy but service, while individual servers were pleasant, in particular, a very young server, was overall poor. Long waits to connect with servers. Food okay, but very, very overpriced for average food. Won't be rushing back. Dunshaughlin could do with another restaurant to sharpen competition.

    Went for lunch with son (9) and daughter (21) and there was something for everyone. Food was amazing and my son said it was the best sandwich he ever had. Atmosphere and surroundings were lovely. Bit warm but overall great experience. Will be back soon

    Really lovely experience, menu was amazing and the food was gorgeous, only little thing was there was not a huge range of herbal teas but the waitress went out of her way to find me one. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

    It's was a really enjoyable lunch. So many bookings staff struggled a bit, and it was a considerable wait to place an order , but that was a bank holiday, and i completely understood and didn't impact our lunch all. Staff is very friendly and definitely will be back.....thank you.....

    Food was excellent, the kids that were serving were so pleasant and helpful. But the kitchen was under serious pressure, it took 2 hours from starter to dessert and with 3 young kids it was just too long. The hostess/manager did thank us for our patience in waiting for each course. We won't be back because it's just too expensive for our budget but it is a beautiful venue and I've no doubt they'll do very well.

    I had high expectations on my first visit to the restaurant however the guys were just not having a great afternoon! The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived. Seated at a table not completly set ....Waited 15 mins before asked if we wanted a drink...30 mins past before we had to ask to order.......55 mins wait for starters ...1hr 30 mins until main course arrived...2 parties of 4 in after us recieved main courses 15 mins before us. Order came to the table with one dish incorrect and missing..desert arrived with one missing...waited for it for 20 mins!..food overall was wayyy below par for the price....yep great looking restaurant but unfortunately if things don't work in the kitchen the front of house haven't a chance! The guys were apoligic at the end...Great shame as the restaurant has potential....

    First time at GFP Dunshaughlin. Lovely atmosphere and food was excellent. A little pricey but understandable in current times. Dont mind paying a bit more for good quality service, food and surroundings. Very enjoyable evening and will definitely be back for more.

    Service was very slow drinks came that we didn’t order and bread that we ordered never came also we had to ask for our main course as the wait was so long I would have liked an itemised bill also but food was good so I will return

    Hi. Important feedback for a new business. The staff, while lovely were quite slow at coming back with an ask i.e the bill or an order. Don’t get why the managers can only take orders… doesn’t make sense to me and a bit bizarre. Burger was a little too well cooked. Suggest to give the young staff more autonomy and let them look after 3/4 tables. We had 5 different people serve us at dinner and was a bit over the place. For example we were leaving and the desert spoons were being set on the table. The best of luck with the business and I wish you great success. David

    The service was not great. Had to go look for our original waitress , who took our order and did not come back to serve us after. Had to go up to the staff to order more drinks, to ask for the table to be cleared and ask for dessert menus. The young man that brought down our food was extremely helpful, and seemed to be run off his feet serving tables and cleaning others, while several of the other waitresses seemed to be doing nothing behind the bar. The food was ok, not a typical menu I was expecting for 4.30pm dining, it was a brunch menu. They had several dishes unavailable from the menu, which was disappointing.The restaurant is well designed and provides a lovely atmosphere, the service was lacking , which is a shame and not something I would normally write a review about , but it was very poor from the majority of staff there. I booked through the app and received several phone calls after to confirm the booking which I found strange and off putting , i understand the time of year maybe that was why, but I found the phone calls to be slightly abrupt and unnecessary. I have never had these issues when booking tables through the app before. Overall the restaurant was pretty , the food was ok, but would have liked a menu more suitable to later dining , the service could do with some improvement.
