    The food wasn't great. The foccacia was burnt. The pizza was not good. We had one glass of wine and were charged for a bottle. Very little choice for vegetarians. Overall, mediocre and expensive for what we got.

    We had a lovely brunch,Fresh Orange juice and lemonade . We sat outside ,which was wonderful as it was a warm day. Staff very friendly and efficient. Nice clean toilets. Great location opposite Dun Laoghaire Dart station.

    Our evening with friends at The Gourmet Food Parlour was very enjoyable. The people working there were extremely friendly which made for a good atmosphere. We thought the prices were very reasonable and would definitely return there for casual dining.

    Always a great spot for brunch or lunch! The service is quick, and there’s a nice variety of food items to choose from. The only downside is that it can get quite loud.

    I wrote to the restaurant directly on 11/05/25. They did not respond. Sums up the lack of customer care in a nutshell. Posted below for completeness- Morning, Just a note to let you know about our experience at dinner last night. We felt very rushed to leave. The waiter came to our table around 2130 to say that he was closing the till and was there anything else we wanted. My friend had ordered coffee and after 20 minutes it still hadn't arrive. I think there were only 3 tables occupied & available staff. He brought the coffee and the bill even though we had not asked for the bill. He then came back a minute later with the credit card machine. I was drinking my wine and my friends coffee was still too hot to drink. We asked him to wait a C we deep in conversation. 5 minutes later he came back again and we felt pressured to pay. He said he wanted to close the till. It was about 2145 at this stage. My friend was not impressed at all. I recall that he was still drinking his coffee standing up before leaving. You advertise opening at the weekend “until late”. 10 pm is not late. The couple adjacent to us informed the staff that the mans duck meal was inedible -”he said he wouldn't feed it to his dog”. We had to listen to it all. These might be some of the reasons why your restaurant is so quiet on a Saturday night. There wasn't a table available at C&G or Hartley’s. Not the experience we expected at all. We left just after 10. It was far from a positive experience.
