    When we arrived early and offered to wait ( in the waiting area) we were met with a rushed and fairly abrupt member of staff. When we arrived at our table the lights had been dimmed so low we had to use mobile phone torches to read the menus. Overall experience wasn't great, food fell short I'm afraid

    This review comes from a busy service in December, where I was part of a table of ten. It might be circumstantial and not applicable more widely. Feeling Looked After; With all the will in the world, this booking was doomed from the start. I booked from 4pm and we were seated at 4.30pm. When we first asked to order a drink in the waiting area, the server said "If I had someone who could take your drink order, I'd have them clear your table instead" and walked away. I think they engaged in some reflective practice because they came back and took an on the house drinks round instead. From there on, they really did the best they could with what was happening - however I don't think it was enjoyable for them or us. Food; Some of the add ons sounded cool - like the £2 cheese skirt. What wasn't as clear was that this is really just a process that involves paying extra for the grilling and crisping the cheese that would have been going on the burger anyway. That felt a bit unnecessary. One of the dishes was not prepared as the menu outlined so was changed. The bhaji burger was pretty delicious and the fries were good. Ambience; This was pretty bleak - people were there but it seemed quiet, like the same atmosphere as sandwiches and tea after a funeral. There were TV screens on the wall that weren't switched on so it felt a bit like a kind of local pub where it seemed like a good idea at the time to get them. I thought with the price point and the fact that it was in St James, it would be a bit more luxe.

    Excellent food, staff very friendly checking we were happy and didn’t need anything, would recommend. We went at lunchtime and it wasn’t too noisy.

    Wasn’t sure what to expect, but burgers were excellent albeit a little expensive, but in our mind they were worth it. Dirty fries were very good and the onion rings are the ‘not to be missed’ item when visiting. Service was impeccable.

    I expected better food at a "Gordon Ramsay" place. A hamburger, sort of tasteless and thin, cost £18.00. with a small bag of fries. My husband could not finish the curry burger, despite the fact that he loves all curries. Ambiance is is fact food.

    Everything was amazing from start to finish, we came a bit early and they accommodated us nicely with drinks first before we ordered, lovely staff! Ambience nice and chilled, and foot excellent, my partner is hugely fussy and he says it was the best burger his ever eaten, huge compliment from him lol.

    Traveled up from London to Edinburgh for my birthday and wanted to try street burger and it was unreal. The food was amazing the onion rings 20/10. Sticky toffee milkshake even better! The staff were so friendly. Our server Tim was very polite and spent time talking to us about the restaurant and the food. Would 10000% go back again!

    Restaurant was quite quiet however served by a lovey lady called Aoife who really went out her way to ensure we had a nice experience. Food was delicious however a bit expensive in comparison to competitors (eg. butta burger). I had ordered chips with very spicy sauce and asked for some mayo but Aoife replaced them for me instead which I found very kind. Will certainly be back, even if only once in a while as a treat!

    Fantastic we all loved our food. It is quite pricey for what it is but the food was super fresh and tasty yesterday. What really made it for us was the lively man that served us what a asset to your company he was so helpful and lovely don’t get service like that much now amazing.

    Dry burgers. Polite staff and decent location. Low value and nothing at all like we expected based on visits to Hells Kitchen and his other burger places. Gordon has another place nearby that hopefully is better.

    The staff were excellent, all really polite and friendly. One of our party has allergies and the care the manager showed from the off indicated the restaurant was one that someone with an allergy would be safe at. The manager took time to understand the allergies, explain the internal control measures they operate and then briefed the chef and staff. The allergy menu was brought over and the server knew all the allergies, clearly listened to the manager’s briefing. We all had a very enjoyable meal, the food was really tasty and well presented. Staff were attentive throughout and ensured we had what we needed, more drinks etc, without being overbearing. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Would recommend!

    The service was great and friendly. Overall only the Onion Wings was not bad, but the burgers weren’t not good. We ordered four burgers, chicken & Avo, Hell Kitchen, Next Level and BAE, the burgers were so dry, overcooked and not juicy, the quality of the food were not worth paid for it. However we were very disappointing, and wouldn’t return again.

    Lazy service let the place down, food was fine - not as expensive as I feared from some of the reviews. But nothing amazing either, plenty of better options nearby. The initial welcome was great but from there it was all down hill. Unimpressed.

    This was the only disappointment during our travels when it came to restaurants. The restaurant is in a mall and has basically no atmosphere whatsoever. Food was nothing exceptional… What you would anticipate from a mall restaurant. However, our server, Billy, was wonderful, and about the only positive aspect of the restaurant.

    The chicken was dry and over done,not enough to feed a sparrow! The burger wasn't that great either was rather dry and not much flavour, better with a wetherspoons burger next time. Thought we try something different but was impressed to be honest!

    Our waiter was very friendly and helped me decide what to get as I have a food intolerance, he was very welcoming and approachable. I can’t remember the man’s name but he was wearing a cool shirt and had tattoos - tip him!

    Burgers were average at best. Service was below average. "Optional" service fee, explained as a tip, was not offered as optional. Hmmm? Make it optional as advertised, and, oh yeah...earn it. Tips are not entitled. Especially in places that pay full wages. SMH

    Last minute booking, never been before. Front of house staff member was awesome… knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel welcome. Initially service was a tad slow however once the waiting staff got our order they were excellent ! Again very knowledgeable and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and if they didn’t know the answer they went and found out. Don’t go expecting a massive fill your plate sized burger, it’s labelled street food so portions are not huge. However our burgers, fries and slaw was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. All in all a nice quick, quality yet simple meal, not a huge menu either which suited perfectly. Only negative comment was the loo, no issue with unisex toilets but they were not the tidiest or cleanest and yuck seat left up with suitable splash. It was getting closer to the end of the evening so giving the benefit of the doubt. Would return as we enjoyed the food and friendly service.

    Was extremely nice and worth the money, our waiter was extremely pleasant and happy to help. The only thing that I would criticise was the fries which were extremely over seasoned but still tasty nevertheless.
