   Gordon Ramsay has made a name for himself in places, the likes of Vegas. While the ambiance here is a different cry from Hell’s Kitchen, the decor and design is appropriate for the price this place requires. The main caveat is in the food. Vancouver is well known for competitive cuisine, and while the steak here isn’t bad, it’s playing in a different league compared to those of Elisa’s, Gotham, Hy’s or the like. For the price it asks, the food just isn’t able to compete. Even the quintessential Toffee Pudding lacks a lustre and taste compared with its siblings in Vegas. Definitely a must-try, but I would suggest lowering your expectations.

   had high expectations, especially given the premium price and the promise of Wagyu beef, but unfortunately, the experience fell flat. The steak itself lacked seasoning and depth of flavor, and the sides were equally underwhelming—bland and uninspired. For a meal priced at this level, I expected far better execution and taste. To make matters worse, it took 50 minutes for the food to arrive, which only added to the frustration. With so many excellent dining options available, this felt like a poor value and a missed opportunity. I won’t be returning.

   The food and service was excellent. Sat in lounge area but will go for dining room next time.

   The service was outstanding. The drinks, appetizers, and desserts were delicious. The main entrée left much to be desired, unfortunately.

   Amazing service and food! Wonderful birthday dinner. Highly recommend the Australian Wagyu, incredible. And the trifle topped everything off perfectly.

   I’m glad I came back a second time because this time the food was a lot better. We didn’t order the beef Wellington this time but instead tried one of their steaks and it was amazing. The sable fish and risotto were really good too! The food was also not cold this time. We also ordered the Black Forest trifle and bread pudding which were again my favourites!

   Very good experience, food, wine and service. Not cheap but all worth it.

   Great food as expected but the lounge seating is kinda strange, you feel like your eating dinner in the lobby at a big bar. We booked this table 3 months in advance and I guess didn’t specify where to sit ( didn’t see an option ) so we were in the lobby lounge.
